The hotel was booked via corporate partners and it's the first time we've stayed here. Having stayed in London many times we thought that we'd seen some of the best (and worst on occasions) customer service. The Holiday Inn staff were delightful. Friendly, smiling and nothing too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and well appointed. Toiletries, tea and coffee are provided. I stayed here over the bank holiday weekend with my husband and 2 children. Not far from kings cross station you can walk it, 2 double beds in rooms decorated very nice. Breakfast was plentiful but can get busy at times. Only problem I had was room not ready after 4pm when I returned from sightseeing even though I'd checked in earlier. They managed to sort it after I refused to wait. I had no problems at all with the refurbishment, I didn't hear any noise on the 6th floor. I would recommend this... Read more

This hotel is the perfect location for arriving in and exploring London. A short distance away from Kings Cross and next door to Russel Square tube. We stayed here a week while on holiday recently and I can't fault it. It's not the Ritz, but for the price it's a very good option. We had a newly renovated room. The new style and furnishings allow for a lot of space in what is actually quite a compact space. The furnishings are squeaky clean and the bed very comfortable. The location, within walking distance of Kings Cross / St Pancross, is excellent for ongoing travel as well as being convenient to basing yourself for visiting London gen... Read more

Holiday Inn Bloomsbury is ideally located for central london via Tubes and also visitor attractions. It's also ideal for business travellers such as myself. I guess by London prices it's reasonable. I always sleep very well here, beds are comfortable and rooms clean, although small, but again this is London. Breakfast is typically buffett, cooked or a range of continental breakfast items. However, english breakfast is very satisfying.

Stayed here for 1 night in July 2016. The hotel is very close to Russell Square tube station and so is easy to get to. Upon checking in we were upgraded to an executive room as we had our 1 year old daughter with us whom needed a travel cot. The reception staff were extremely helpful and accommodating of our needs. The room was extremely large by London standards, and was immaculate and clean. Room rate was fairly good at just over 100 pounds for the night. Would recommend.

Stayed here for 1 night the staff were very organised for a large group checking in, breakfast presented well with a large variety. Rooms clean with all amenities required, bathrooms a little small. Only down side was the thinness of the walls I heard almost all doors opening and shutting throughout the night and the traffic from around 4.30am. Beds comfy and a good choice of pillows.

Room was okay, very basic but clean. Breakfast was okay, very busy before 830. Late bar was okay and the pub was lively. Okay for a couple of nights but would not want to stay longer. Also delivery guys were very loud in the morning.

There is so much to choose from and like always the Holiday Inn group just doesn't let you down. Situated just 10 minute walk from Euston, its an ideal location for those travelling by train. The location is also only 2 minute walk from Russell Square tube (Piccadilly Line) perfect for getting around. The hotel itself is set in the stylish district of Bloomsbury and literally a 1 minute walk from The Brunswick shopping arcade, great for those little treats and several restaurants including Giraf... OK place to stay near main line stations and public transport . Good for museum & art galleries. This is one of those anonymous city hotels which provides the basics. Nothing worth eating in the hotel, unless you are in to burgers and steak. Some good restaurants locally.

I arrived late after a long day travelling & working. I was greeted by a warm friendly smile and was swiftly checked into my room. The foyer area was clean, spacious & airy. I have worked for Holiday Inn many years ago and it is nice to come back and see that the brand is as modern as it was back then. My biggest disappointment was the corridors & size of the rooms. I was on the 3rd floor and my room was tiny, although comfortable had I of had to do some work I would have struggled in this roo... Read more

Me and my fiancé stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with our choice. The hotel is very close to the Russel Square tube station, making it easy to get around London and see all the sights! The hotel looks very clean and modern when you enter and the reception staff were very helpful. The room was also very modern, well looked after and offered: tea facilities, a flat screen TV, Wi-Fi and our room was cleaned daily. If you choose to drive there is a car park under the hotel at £18 ... Read more

This is a very nice clean hotel. The reception staff were most impressive and very helpful with an early check in. Breakfast was ok and the location was not too bad for shopping in the city. Would stay again

Booked in and had a standard double room. Reception staff welcoming and I was asked if I had a preference of which floor to stay on which I thought was a nice touch. Room was clean and pleasant enough. Breakfast was the usual buffet style with a good wide selection of food and drink. Happy to stay there again.

An average Holiday Inn, it is overpriced for the standard of hotel, but I stayed purely for the location as I was going to the hospital every day to visit family. The staff were nice enough but I have returned to London several times to the Bloomsbury area and stayed elsewhere. Needs a face-lift.

See previous review. Since then I have stayed many times and feel they do deserve a further review. This hotel deserves full praise for all their amazing staff, many who have been working there as long as I can remember; they have incredible memories - many remembering your name as well as your face, even if months pass between visits! I wish to formally say a huge thanks to Arina for finding my mobile, for her great wit and sense of fun (she hopes for an i_phone 6 as reward!). Then there's... Read more

Needed a last minute hotel for a business trip to London which covered several parts east and west. The Holiday Inn London Bloomsbury is perfectly placed for such a trip. A two minute walk from Russell Square Tube, and ten minutes from King's Cross and St. Pancras if you don't have too much baggage. If a taxi is your preferred mode of transport, then it will only cost you £5 (Nov 2016). On arrival, I was greeted at the reception by an attentive and polite member of staff who checked me in and... As regular visitors to Holiday Inn hotels we thought that's would spoil ourselves and book an executive room when doing an overnight stay for a theatre trip. So disappointed, sterile, very beige room (very 70's). Toilet flush not working properly, the lighting in the room was appalling, the two main lights weren't working, and the two lights above the beds were laughingly crooked, just not the standard that you would expect from an 'executive room'. We weren't able to complain until the morning ... Read more

My mum was staying here on a 2 night coach trip from Lancashire to London and she wanted me to stay at the same hotel, the hotel is expensive but she got a great deal from her local coach company, so I booked on that and just skipped the coach part. Check in was easy. My room was clean and comfortable. Tonnes of hot water and a nice deep bath. View of a nice art-deco building across the street. Evening meal in the restaurant was ok, decent selection and friendly staff. There was a good selection... Read more

This hotel is in a convenient location in central London, close to Russell Square tube station and within walking distance of Euston/King??s Cross. I had a twin room which was comfortable and very clean, with a small bathroom with a shower over the bath. I thought that the breakfast was excellent, the food all looked appetising with plenty of choice and a good cup of coffee. However, the main thing which makes the hotel stand out is the staff ?? they all seemed very efficient, cheerful and ... Read more

After giving the hotel a 1 star rating earlier this year what a huge surprise I found on my return after giving it a second chance after I was told last time they were in the middle of a full revamp and I had just had a unfortunate experience .... well what a revamp it's been. The refurbed rooms are beautiful... very comfortable, great furnishings and cracking beds. A total turnaround from the old outdated dated pit I had last time .... they say time is a healer, well, it sure is. Great work Ho... Read more
