We've got what we've paid for. Hotel location is handy for shopping - Westfield mall is just 10 mins walk away. Good connection of trains from the station which is also around 10 mins walk away - once you get to know train lines it's pretty easy to get around. Clean room, good breakfast, good service. The only downside - no iron/board in the room.

On main road but not noisy. Nice clean room, comfy single beds, tea and coffee facilities, shower, hairdryer, Free wifi, ironing room provided on our floor. Breakfast self service some hot choice (bacon, sausage, beans, scrabbled egg, toast, continental - fruit, pastries, croissants, yoghurts, cereals.) excellent value, short walk to the station/underground.

Nothing to write home about really. Parking £10, is in a locked enclosure which is good. Resturant is OK too I had a Thai noodle dish which was great the breakfast was less impressive, toasters were more like warmers! The rooms are just basic HIEX with small TV. WiFi is free & fast. It's fairly modern and Ok for a short business stay. There's not much to do around there and the main shopping area is to be avoided!

We were delighted with this hotel as we had tickets for the Euro swimming comp at the Olympic pool; which you can see from the hotel which is just a 8 min walk away. For a 3 star hotel it was excellent although we did not eat there so we can't comment on food. Our room as at the end of the corridor on the 2nd floor; it was quiet and clean. The bed was comfortable (although we are used to a bigger quilt), the bathroom was well appointed and the room was a good size with a sofa/bed-settee. Lovely ... Read more

With HIE you know what to expect, but this one does deliver just a little bit more. The staff are very welcoming, helpful and positive. The breakfast is excellent, and security is good. Rooms are pretty standard, but very clean. Access to the Olympic park is simple as is central London by bus every few minutes.

We stayed here over the Bank Holiday weekend. It's 0.7 miles from the Train/Underground but is an easy walk. The rooms are clean and comfortable and come with shower gel/shampoo, handwash, towels, tissues, hairdryer, TV, tea & coffee making facilities (although it would be better if they had a bigger supply of coffee and milk in the room as there's only really enough for one drink each - based on two people). The hotel is ok for a couple of nights. Very handy for the Olympic Stadium for gigs. Staff very friendly. Breakfast not much to write home about, other than its included in the price of your room. Rooms seem quite quiet even on a busy gig night. Only noise seems to come from the constant traffic outside. Shower was excellent. My only major complaint is the was tiny! My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights in June, so we could watch a concert at the Olympic stadium. It's location is very good with a 2 minute walk from the DLR and 10 minutes to the stadium or Westfield shopping centre. Apart from the location, this hotel was disappointing and appeared to be poorly managed. We paid nearly £200 for our second night (the price was raised I presume because ACDC were playing at the stadium) breakfast on our first morning was a disaster. No where to sit, food ru... Read more

I had a great stay for 5 nights on business. I wouldn't say the location is great as there is nothing but a Tesco's nearby. However it's about a 20 minute walk to Westfield and other restaurants. In terms of accessibility it was perfect for me as there is a bus stop across the road and 4 stops later you're at Bow Road for the District line and Hammersmith & City Line given great access to everywhere needed. Stayed here a few times with a few family members. The room was immaculate and the bed was very comfortable. I always love holiday inn hotels and have stayed in a few. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is right beside Westfield, however it's just out of the madness of the main part of Stratford. If your looking for a moderately priced vital that is clean, comfortable and close to the city, this is the one.
