My husband and I stayed here on the 23rd/24th of April as I was running the London marathon . The hotel is lovely , spacious upgraded rooms and a quick check in . Our room was ready a couple of hours early which we really appreciated after travelling from Scotland . The situation is great as I was able to have a short walk to the start of the marathon and it's near the station for travelling into the city and also expo is easily reached . I found the breakfast to be good with plenty of choice an... Read more

A very nice modern, clean and comfortable hotel to stay in. The room had recently been redecorated and refurbished to a very good standard. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was very clean and tidy. free wi-fi is also available. The only downside we found was the fact the hotel charges £12.00 to park your car overnight.

Although there were extensive renovations still ongoing and some rooms are not ready, as a business traveler you do not really notice the refurbishment going on. The rooms are extremely comfortable and exude a homely feel with an inviting colour scheme. Although our company checked 2 X before arrival about the room allocation unfortunately on de day of arrival it was still not correct. We booked here because my usual hotel was fully booked and we were really happy with our stay. The hotel is only a mile from the O2 Arena (about 20 minutes walk) and it is easy to find on foot with walkways well lit for walking back after a gig. The staff were very helpful on check-in. The room has recently been refurbished and looked amazing. Although our window faced the main road, the window cut out any noise from traffic and the aircon helped keep the temperature down. Not battling the tube was definitely abonus. Staff were friendly on check in and any minor queries were answered quickly and efficiently. The hotel has recently been renovated and the rooms are airy, bright and comfortable. I chose the hotel because of easy access to ExCel Convention Center; easy walk to the train as well as Emirates Air Line. The breakfast was simple but good value. The free wi-fi was a great bonus. The Greenwich area is picturesque and enjoyed visiting nearby Greenwich Park, Royal Observatory, Royal Maritime Museum and Cutty Sark. I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here back in April with my six year old daughter when we went to see Adele at the O2. I loved that because of my daughter's age she was free to stay, that there was free wifi, and that breakfast was included. The Holiday Inn Express is approximately 20 minutes walk from the O2, so by the time we got back my daughter was pretty shattered! This hotel is ideally situated in Greenwich. A 10 minute walk from the O2 arena, the Emirates Skyline which takes you over to the Excel centre, the underground station, Thames barrier and so much more. Just a few minute walk from the 02 and slightly longer for Greenwich village, this hotel has all that you need for a brief stop over. Rooms are a good size, bathroom clean with fluffy towels and a nice big comfortable bed. Breakfast is a very relaxed help yourself affair although I would have liked more cooked variety than scrambled egg, beans and sausage. Car parking is also an extra charge. There can be a bit of a wait for the lifts. Overall I was pleased with our stay and would return.

Great location, obviously London is going to expensive then where we I live which is in Mid wales (Builth Wells) but everything was brilliant. The only down side about this hotel was the food, we had a pizza between us & asked for chips with it and there was only about 12 chips. But that's not a problem because the pizza was amazing! The reception staff were also friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was fine. A little limited maybe. Overall a really nice stay here. It may be a bit outside central London but the cost of it compared to more central hotels more than makes up for this.

This is one of our favourite hotels. This time round we were very surprised by the hotel's makeover. The design of the rooms has changed, and it is now very modern and comfortable. The hotel added ironing board and iron in each room, which is very useful, especially if you planning a weekend out in London. The staffs are pleasant and helpful, as always. This hotel will always be my number one choice.

Stayed for one night. Room 426. Our first Holiday Inn Express experience and it was decent. A bit of thought went into the room, with (for example) USB plugs on both sides of the bed and plenty of wall plugs through the room. Free wifi, digital (not cable) tv, free breakfast, and decent service not exceptional but then this isn't the flashiest hotel around. Beds were comfortable and we were given a quiet room when we requested one. No noise through the night and we both slept well. The air-... Read more

Stayed for one night when me and my partner went to the 02 to see bastille. Room was clean besides a small hair in the shower. Bed was comftable. Breckfast was included in the price of the stay, breckfast was tasty and the blueberry muffins were amazing but the only thing i could fault was the fact the hot breckfast only consisted of beans scambled egg and sasuages.

Stayed here for one night on 27th October. We always stay here when visiting the O2 as it is so handy. Loved the makeover. Bed very comfy, room spotlessly clean. Lovely breakfast. Huge choice. Cereals, yogurt, pastries, sausages, scrambled egg, beans and toast. People were moaning that there was no bacon and only scrambled egg and not fried but the hotel caters for all tastes and you certainly would not go hungry. Staff very friendly. The only reason I have given it 4 stars and not 5 is the fact... Read more

I booked this hotel for a night away with work at the o2. Plenty of parking and really easy to find from the main a13. The o2 was about a 2 minute drive, if that, which was perfect for what I needed. The staff at check-in/check-out were really helpful and the hotel room was clean and spacious. Amazing views from the 7th floor. There's a bar which was open til 2, a restaurant (I didn't use it) and a little shop for drinks and snacks, a nice touch. At £100 for the room it was also great value for... Read more

Perfect sport just outside the hustle and bustle of London's City Centre! We stayed here for two nights and would not hesitate in recommending this hotel. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the rooms were spacious and clean, and you are only a stone's throw from Greenwich centre and the underground! Will be back!

easy to find, lots of parking right there. Reception on the first floor, easy check in process and electronic registration of you vehicle. Room was well presented, a good size and very clean, there was also free wifi. It has a dining room and bar by reception. The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom very good and both were very clean. I left before breakfast started so cannot comment on that.

Beautifully clean and really comfortable room. Beds were especially comfortable and choice of 2 good pillows. Large fluffy white towels and a good shower. The location is excellent for the O2 as it is a straight walk. Staff were friends and helpful and check in was very simple. However, the breakfast was only just adequate and my son didn't even bother the 2nd morning (and he loves his breakfast!) It had good and free wifi and it was a quiet room despite the busy location. Reasonably priced for ... Read more

Stayed here when we went to a concert at the O2. Its about a fifteen minute walk from the arena and North Greenwich tube, so not perfect, but walking along Parkway is at least green and quiet. Excellent reception staff although check-in was a bit slow and our room on the top floor was quiet and very comfortable. Small but well laid out bathroom, great bed and nice touch with USB socket either side of the bed. Breakfast is buffet-style and although the choice for the continental was limited it wa... Read more

Stayed while at ATP at O2 and it was very convenient. The room was functional and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was adequate - coffee could be better. There is a nice bar and sitting area and a Chinese restaurant just beside the hotel. It is a bit tired and the lift was a bit old.

The only reason we had booked to stay at this hotel was because this was one of the pick-up point for our European coach tour. I wouldn??t have stayed here if I were in London as a tourist and my main aim was to visit all the highlights of the city. For the price that the hotel charges for the rooms, I can get many other hotels of equal standard which are right smack in the city itself. The hotel is not as close to the North Greenwich Tube Station as I have thought ?? it is around 0.8 mile. I... Read more

This hotel is an excellent location, less than 10 minute walk, to the O2, London Underground, DLR, Emirates Air Line (ski lift across the River Thames). The hotel is modern, clean and has all the usual amenities for it's guests, i.e, bar, breakfast, WiFi, etc, with extremely pleasant and helpful staff! I highly recommend this hotel for accessing the O2, Greenwich, Canary Wharf, Stratford Olympic Park and the East End.

Clean, comfortable, good use of space and easy walk to o2 and nearest tube. Breakfast not as good as other holiday inns we have stayed in. Bar opens late and plenty of parking. A little noise on lower floors from traffic.

My room was clean and not noisy (once I turned off the aircon). The hotel does not offer room service and the bar menu is very limited - chicken wings, fish & chips, burgers etc. They do have a 'snack station' selling crisps, chocolate, water, nuts but a suggested addition would be cuppa soups, noodle pots for the tired traveller that wants something quick and hot. It's location to the O2 is good, approx 15-20 minute walk. Traffic is dire in that area so if getting a cab, allow plenty of time. B... Read more

Our room was smart, stylish and comfortable and offered great views. The check-in process was quick and simple if a little short on friendliness. We stayed here specially to be close to the O2 and were pleased to find that we could walk to the venue in about 15 minutes. The bar is open quite late and the bar staff are very nice if a little difficult to understand-I asked for a gin and tonic and they tried to give me a glass of water-very comical! Breakfast was fine but the coffee machine was s... Read more

No problems at all Hotel room was spotless and comfortable . Staff friendly and helpful and check in was quick and efficient . Didn't make it to breakfast so can't comment on the food . Would definitely stay here again if was attending the o2 and can highly recommended this hotel, especially for the location
