The Double Tree by Hilton- London Hyde Park is located on Bayswater Road, opposite Kensington Gardens and 400 yards west of Queensway underground station on the Central Line. Great for the West End, shopping and sightseeing. We previously stayed there in 2013, have tried a few other London hotels since but always thought this was one of the best, if you can get a good deal. Worth joining Hilton Honors . Rated hotel excellent back then. This is a modern hotel with decor to match. We stayed in a ... Read more

Our recent stay at this DoubleTree did not disappoint. At the end of each day, we were happy to come to our room to relax, to enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese/crackers we had purchased and stored in our in-room refrigerator, or perhaps some yogourt for breakfast. We appreciated the friendly chat and help provided by the front desk and maintenance staff. The concierge service also assisted with restaurant recommendations and ticket bookings.

Good clean and friendly service, as you would expect from the HH chain. Great location for the tube and nearby pubs and restaurants. The only down side was the very small parking area this hotel has, and at £25 for 24hrs its not cheap.

My husband and I stayed at the Double Tree Hyde Park for 10 nights in May. (It was supposed to be 11 but thanks to the weather and American Airlines' incompetence, we were one day late - do not take American Airlines from Charlotte to Heathrow) The hotel staff was wonderful from the start - the warm cookies on arrival, making sure we got breakfast before the dining room closed as we arrived a day late, making sure we got our suitcases when they arrived as American Airlines had them on the wrong ... A weekend stay for us down in the smoke, haven't stayed here before, but was disappointed. Easy to get to, 3 minutes walk from Queensway on the central line, so everything's accessible quite quickly. Kensington Gardens / Hyde Park across the road. A friendly greeting at reception, accompanied by warm cookies. Delicious. Room was bijou but spotless, nice bathroom, good shower (no bath in our room). Tea and coffee making (nespresso machine). Breakfast was good, lots of variety, fruit, cere... Read more

We selected the hotel because it was a good value with nice comfortable rooms. We were a short walk to two different tube lines and 4 bus lines stopped within a block so traveling around London was easy (20 minutes to Westminster Abbey), especially with the Oyster smart card. Also across the street was beautiful Hyde Park and a short walk to Kensington Palace. The hotel restaurant was very limited dinner (typical English breakfast buffet) but there were a number of good restaurants and pubs wi... Read more

Got a bit surprised over how modern and large the rooms at this hotel actually was! Spent a weekend with my parents and Grand parents and despite a 20 min subway ride in to the more central parts of London this was a great place to stay! Good breakfast and food at a hotel in a quiet area not to far away from the nearest subway station!

I've just stayed at this hotel for the second time and will book again for another stay at the need of the year. It is well located, not too far from Paddington station, at the top end of Hyde Park and near Notting Hill Gate tube station and Queensway tube station. The hotel is tastefully decorated and the rooms are well equipped and comfortable with nice bathrooms. The breakfast in the morning is a plentiful buffet selection and all the staff members are very helpful and attentive. For me it wa... Read more

We had an exceptional stay at Doubletree Hilton Hotel at Hyde Park. Below you may find the story of why we considered our stay at Doubletree Hilton exceptional. My wife Nilgün and I, we arrived in London by the evening of the 12th of July, 2016. We flew from Istanbul. I am a medical doctor and had a full-day meeting to attend the next day. We already had reservations, as probably any visitor to another country-city would have made, for a certain hotel located in Notting Hill region. it was alm... Read more

The location is the main advantage with this hotel. It is across the hyde park and walking distance from two tube stations with hop on hop off stop just outside the hotel. The hotel has been refurbished and hence has a new look and modern interiors. The bed was very comfortable (which is something I value a lot given my back problems). The hotel doesn't have too many add on facilities but one doesn't really spend much time at the hotel. The breakfast was good and the staff are friendly and helpf... Read more

There are many restaurants and pubs close to and just around the corner from this hotel. You won't go hungry! Also 2 tube stations close - just depends where you are headed. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel, so bought pastries at Sainsbury's around the corner in the main shopping street. Easy walk to Hyde Park and Kensington Palace. Always enjoy staying at the DoubleTree Hyde Park. If you get a room looking out over the park that is a real bonus but all the rooms are well appointed, the beds super comfortable and they feel high quality and spotlessly clean. I also like the big windows so they are light and airy in day time. The hotel is a little walk down from the tube station but it is hardly far. The only thing that lets it down is the lack of a proper lounge area to relax in as there is just one large bar restaurant area... Read more

Stayed here many times on business. The hotel is well situated near Paddington and Oxford Street. The rooms are small but tastefully decorated and comfortable, especially the beds. Hyde Park is opposite the hotel with the Diana memorial nearby. The hotel staff are pleasant and helpful. Breakfast and dinner are good served in a dining room with good views of the park. Queensway and Bayswater tube stations are five/ten minutes walk away respectively. Will definitely return.

This hotel is competitively priced. I have stayed several times - please see my review ??Leisurely Value?? (26 September 2014) and "Value by the Park" (February 2016). The Hotel has a good location next to Hyde Park / Kensington Gardens and close to Central and Circle underground lines and bus stops for buses for Oxford Street / Bond St shopping. This hotel was a great choice, thanks to many other excellent reviews. For the price it's amazing value, good location. Free wifi. The staff is excellent, the breakfast buffet is wonderful. Since it's a short walk to Kensington Palace, we headed there after checking in to the hotel. The next day we walked about 15 minutes to Portabello Road for the famous Saturday market. We had a good stay here and it may be a great hotel by London standards. In the US a Hampton Inn would be a step up. Staff was efficient and room was clean. Hallways were a bit noisy. Except for a couple of quirks I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Doubletree. Location is very convenient to Hyde Park and Queensway and the tube. I stayed in the junior suite - nice and comfortable, but emphasis on "junior" with a tiny sitting area added to the room. Water pressure was remarkably low in the shower.
