The hotel experience was nice with a small, but decent executive lounge. The staff was great and the quaint surrounding town enjoyable, but the Hoppa service to get there is terrible. The website only mentioned the Hoppa service. Local cabs charge 25 pounds for the couple mile drive. Your best bet is an Uber or Lyft. Hoppa was over-packed, exceeding the limits of the posted capacity. With baggage, it was a terrible start to an otherwise enjoyable short overnight stay.

Awful customer service really let down by executive lounge and in room dining food inedible And had to be changed - didn't expect to have to pay for a meal I couldn't eat but the head of in room dining insisted that we need to pay for it as it had been changed. Evening totally ruined not the level of service expected or wanted. Would not recommend or use again.

We stayed at the hotel in early May for 1 night, leaving our car in the on-site parking. The hotel was easy to find (make sure you read the hotel's directions, don't aim for Terminal 5). On arrival, we found an undercover parking place within 100 yards of reception. Check in was swift and simple and we were very pleased with the size and quality of our room and bathroom. The hotel is right beneath the flight path but there is absolutely no sign of this in the room - the sound proofing was perf... Read more

We had a Day Room that was basically available from when we arrived, about 9.30am until 6pm. This was perfect as we could have a good sleep before the long drive home and miss the traffic. The room was bright, modern, comfy bed, great bathroom. We used the spa pool, which was a bit on the small side and not somewhere to swim in. However, for 20 mins it was perfect. Remember to take a £1 for the locker. Suited our needs and would definitely do a day visit again after a long flight.

Fantastically sumptuous hotel to stay in before a flight the following day. Travel at your leisure the day before stress free and relax in the top quality rooms, restaurants and bars. The secure car parking available to guests whilst away pays for the room. There is a regular shuttle to the airport although I would recommend taking a taxi on your return due to the congestion and confusion at the airport for the shuttle buses.

The hotel had a very good property and great amenities in the room. However the room I was given (260) had nasty odor near the restroom and some throughout the room. When I informed the front desk about this they were reluctant to change my room but they did send housekeeping promptl. However, their action hardly fixed the issue. I think this might have been due to underlying mould issue so the hotel must do a thorough inspection of the room and maybe other rooms to see if that's the case.

We didn't stay in the hotel per se, but used the useless car park and ride set-up at this hotel. It's a good 30 minutes between buses to transfer you to the airport (which isn't a good service to start with). You MUST stand outside and wave down the buses that show up, otherwise they don't pick you up. Bit silly for a transfer where one would think you have the option to stay indoors. Hilton people, I wouldn't want to be associated with that poor service.

My only criticism and this has nothing to do with the hotel is the National Express Hotel Hoppa Service. There are only two busses an hour to this location and none from Terminal 2 or 3. So spend the extra money and take a cab. Everything else was quiet and wonderful at this luxury Heathrow hotel. West facing rooms have views of Windsor Castle and bucolic English countryside. The hotel is large but still manages to be a quiet oasis. Rooms do not ever seem to be marred by landing noise and they a... Read more

This hotel calls itself Heathrow Airport Terminal 5. The only thing it has to do with Terminal 5 is that you get the bus, which you must pay £5 per person for, from Terminal 5. The bus runs every half hour and makes another stop before the Hilton, so plan a lot of time to get there or back - better to take a taxi. We were led to believe that this hotel was at the airport. We travel extensively and always overnight before the morning flight and have stayed in most of the hotels close to Heathrow. The Hilton Terminal 5 is for us streets ahead of any of the others in the area. The staff can not do enough to make your stay a delight. The hotel is very modern, stunning !!! The rooms are very comfortable very "swish" bathrooms. We stayed in an executive guest room, well worth the upgrade making the stay an absolute pleasure.

Other good features were the lighting and soundproofing. Made use of the hotel spa which was great fun. Did not use the gym but had a quick look round and it was well equipped. Main drawback of the hotel is that it is not right by the terminal, so you have to use the Heathrow Hoppa to get there.

Nice hotel, clean and well presented. Down side: Shocking lack of parking! Cars were double parked, parked on the grass or simply abandoned in the road. Upon check in we were informed that there was a wedding on and it was going to be busy. We drove around for 10 minutes and parked in literally, the last bay. As we were on a park and stay package, surely more bays need to be available? It was honestly carnage in the car park! As you enter the hotel, the smell is not too welcoming. The staff... Read more

Stayed here due to early morning flight. Used car park to leave car whilst away. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The room was clean and well dressed. The facilities were great. The temp controlled tap on bath was great for running a perfect bath quickly. The restaurant was lovely and the food was incredible. Had a great, comfortable nights sleep. Bus to airport door to door. Would recommend and would stay again.

We were flying out of Terminal 4 the next morning so when I checked all our various bookings before we left home to fly down to Heathrow was a tad surprised I'd managed to book Hilton Terminal 5 not Hilton Terminal 4. Didn't matter as the Hoppa bus goes straight there and also goes back to Terminal 4 for not much money. Hotel was top rate. Checked in around 10.45pm and had a couple of drinks at the bar,not cheap of course but lovely ambience in the bar area. Room was excellent and had a top nig... Read more

I Chose this hotel for the location apart from anything else due to its proximity to Terminal 5 Heathrow. there is a bus that runs every half hour to and from the hotel which costs 5 pounds. I was worried that the planes would keep me awake but they must have very good insulation as I didn't hear any noise and slept well.

The hotel was stay was good, as we arrived late but still had a place to park and a nice room. This was the second time we've stayed at Hilton to catch an early flight from Heathrow. The car park is great and convenient for the return home, and the price is very reasonable.

Had a very nice stay at the Heathrow Terminal 5 on the 21st of October, only one night but it was for an anniversary celebration. We were upgraded to a King Executive room, we enjoyed the spa facilities and the restaurant. Special thanks to Varun, who did a wonderful check in to a lovely start of the afternoon! :)

Arrived after a very eventful & stressful day. We were greeted by a very pleasant receptionist, who dealt with us very efficiently, dealing with all our queries. The room was a very pleasant surprise, one of the nicer Hiltons we have stayed in. The room was spacious & very comfortable. The bed was excellent. The bathroom had mood lighting which was novel & made the bathroom seem more inviting. The whole room was very clean & pristine. Would definetely stay again. Well located for terminal 4 & ... London is an expensive city for the traveler, for accommodations, transportation and restaurants. We only stayed for 2 nights and a day. But, staying at this Hilton gives you better value than staying in a hotel in the city itself. Easy inexpensive access via the Underground to central London. We took the Piccadilly Line to see two West End plays, a matinee and an evening in one day, with plenty of time for lunch and supper, and still back to Heathrow before the last Hoppa bus from Terminal 5 to... Excellent hotel for the one night rest after arriving from Lisbon before starting a long journey from London to Auckland. We arrived late when the restaurant was already closed but in-room dining was available and served very quickly. We could eat and go to sleep without much delay. The following day we were offered an extra hour after check-out. Left for our long flight back home feeling happy and refreshed.

Over all, the hotel is great for its price. Bed is quite big and comfy. The only downside I would say is that only H57 hoppa bus goes there which is really a pain for travelers. Because H57 only comes every 30 mins at T5.

While I was a little frustrated having to wait for ages in the cold for the shuttle bus to take me from the airport to hotel (5 quid), the welcome and support from reception quelled my frustration. Sylwia was amazing at check in. Very friendly and welcoming. I relaxed. She made the experience very enjoyable. A wonderful representative for the hotel. The process was very easy and she made me feel like my stay would be an experience. The room was great, comfy bed. Great amenities. Sylwia represent... Read more

Didn??t stay but had dinner with friends. Food good and plenty of choice, although a bit expensive. Staff efficient and attentive. My only comment is that they have used a bit of poetic licence in calling this the Hilton at T5. It is nowhere near! It is about 5 miles away. You need to take the hopper bus (not to T2 & T3) or get a taxi.

Convenient location. Room very quiet even though planes pass directly over the hotel. Was able to park under cover very near to hotel. Would have liked more choice of places to eat. It was either a formal dining room or pub food.

I normally stay in airport hotels because I have to rather than want to and I also have low expectations as they never seem to try that hard for this passing clientele. The Hilton at T5 is one that breaks that mould, right from the start the great welcome from Sylwia on reception, the design of the hotel, the food and the rooms all was excellent.

Too many wonderful things to say about this hotel... great staff, great food, nice and very clean rooms. The Hilton Heathrow Terminal 4, although convenient to walk to airport terminal, it's antiquated and rooms are small. STAY here for biz or if you want a nice hotel near the airport at reasonable rates.

You might expect the Hilton Hotel Terminal 5 to be at Terminal 5, but its not. Its a bus ride away, and its not even a complimentary bus - that will cost you £5. If you want to go by taxi - that's a flat £25 fee. So much for paying to stay near the airport - Heathrow Express train from Paddington is just as convenient. Its a disgrace. Hilton at Terminal 2 is actually at Terminal 2 !

i cannot rate this hotel high enough. The staff go out their way. My heel broke at the wedding I was attending and Slyvia (the receptionist) let me borrow a pair of hers, which made my night. I was also very ill the next day (due an ongoing illness) and they let me stay in my hotel room longer so I was able to drive. One the best experiences I have had with hotel. The staff are simply amazing and the venue is lovely

Despite being reasonably well travelled, I haven't stayed in a Hilton before so was interested to see how this Hotel faired. As others have said, it's a 10 min drive away from T5 but this wasn't a problem for me. I opted to book the T5 business parking and just parked the car overnight at the hotel (note - this is not cheap... about £15) as didn't want to faff about with buses from the hotel in the early hours of the morning. Stayed here the night before an early flight. The hotel is a short drive from Terminal 5 - so isn't onsite - despite its' name (although this is pointed out on the website, the name of the hotel does lead you to believe it might be closer...). This said, the hotel is very nice, clean and well maintained, with spacious modern public areas and bedrooms. This is one of the better Hiltons I have stayed in from a 'presentation' perspective. Booked stay and park prior to our flight out of Heathrow T5. Hotel is excellent and in a great location for both access then using the Hoppa Bus to the airport. Rooms are large and well furnished and very comfortable. Had dinner in the main restaurant which was a little expensive and desserts were not great but otherwise food was good. Overall I would be happy to stay here again prior to a trip.

Selected this hotel for pre holiday stay including parking. It is a modern functional hotel. Rooms are large, clean and well decorated. Ate at the River Bar which was very pleasant if not a little expensive. Staff friendly and accommodating. Transfer to Heathrow T5 by Hoppa was quick and easy. On this basis would have no problem booking this hotel again. Only small downside was the hard mattress and a slightly uncomfortable sleep as a result.

We had to catch an early flight, and this necessitated an overnight near Heathrow. Frankly, you do not expect much from an airport hotel - they are not working for repeat custom, just have a captive audience. So we were pleasantly surprised. The check-in was quick and pleasant. The room was adequate, but amazingly quiet seeing that a large jet flew overhead every 90 seconds. But what made it for us was MR TODIWALA'S KITCHEN. This is a superb Indian style restaurant. We stayed in this hotel for business purposes and had was everything we looked for. The rooms were nice and clean and the service was super! In addition they have a really nice spa, so if you have time it is extremely recommended (so don't forget your swimsuit). This hotel is perfect for heathrow terminal 5 and even though you are close you get a great night sleep. The night I stayed there was a function on that took over the main areas of the hotel and the party was still going on even after I checked out at 4am. That being said I heard nothing while in the room, you would never know their was carnival time in the reception. This was a ideal hotel for what I needed.

Good stay but busy hotel. Being HH members we actually got the upgrade associated with the membership. Great room with executive access. Restaurant let them down badly. Waited ages for a mediocre meal with rubbery steak & overcooked chips. No waiters even bothered to ask if all was ok. On a Sunday this is the only one open so no choice. Overall a good hotel, extremely close to T5. No plane noise at all even though they fly overhead.

I would have rated this 4 stars had it been actually at the airport. The bus right isn't long (20 mins), but if you miss one it's at least 30 mins wait. This is a drag if in transit anyway. Location is as important as the services on offer, frankly. But the services are very good. Nice rooms, good restaurants (although the beer is rather pricey, even for London). Service helpful.
