I stayed in room 302 for two nights. That room is in a really awful condition. The carpet was stained with unimaginable items, the paint was peeling, there was mold in the toilet, the walls were dirty. It was deplorable. The toilet stool had weak water pressure, the windows do not open, the bathroom door was missing paint. The only decent thing about the place is that the front desk clerks were nice. The best thing by far that the hotel has going for it is it's Chef named "Mo". He was the ... Read more

Perhaps the most welcoming and friendly staff at a hotel in which I've stayed! This is a boutique hotel assembled with space from several older buildings, so do not expect a shiny new glass and concrete monstrosity. Instead, this hotel has a good deal of character. We had a room at the rear on the 5th floor which was very quiet and comfortable. Due to the style of construction, there are several places with steps along the corridors on most if not all floors. Stayed here for 3 nights recently. First impression on arrival was a typical mid-price London hotel. Nothing special but it does its job. Due to my Diamond status, I was upgraded to a larger room. More space for sure, but just more of the same blandness as a hotel room. Decor was rather tired and could really do with freshening up. One thing I found bizarre was there was no fridge in the room! I spent a long time looking for one as couldn't believe there wouldn't be. When I finally queried this... Read more

The location of this hotel is convenient for St James and Green Park. It is down a side street, and is quite unassuming. The room was very small, and there was little recognition as a Diamond member (no welcome amenity, no drink, no lounge). To get to my room, i had to walk along a corridor and up and down two sets of half stairs, which would not have been a problem, except i had two heavy suitcases. It was however clean and quiet. The Metropole is a better hotel for the price, with better treat... Read more

Room was small even by Europe standards. expensive due to being in Mayfair. Breakfast was 1st class. ALL the service help were from other countries and at times the language barrier was a problem. A bellman by the name of Gil was by far the most efficient. except for the peeling wall paper and the fact that there are no top sheets on the bed (only a white sheet/comforter combo thing,,, wonder how often that's washed/), had to request face cloths and more shampoo and body gel; walking down the ha... The Hotel is in a prestigious area of London. The hotel staff are very attentive, especially in the restaurant. The help yourself buffet was very good. The only issue we had was the room was on the small side and the bed was not as comfortable as other hotels previously stayed in London.

I stayed here with a client before an early morning shoot at the fabulous Le Gravorche. The room was comfortable enough to but very dark and small. Fine for a nights stay but wouldn't have wanted to stay in such a small room for longer, even the ceilings are quite low. I travel a lot on business and go to a lot of hotels and am therefore fairly undemanding, e.g. All I want is a quick and pleasant check-in, clean room, working TV and WiFi, a room that is not too hot, decent food and quick departure. We stayed here for one night. It's a really pleasant hotel, right in the centre of London but in a quiet side street so it's a lovely location. It's an older style hotel so not hugely modern. We have stayed here before, but this time our room wasn't so good. There was a lot of mould in the bathroom and also the desk/lift up mirror was broken. The breakfast buffet is the best yet, such a huge choice of food. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful, would stay here again.

The staff were fantastic, pretty much a cross the board. The location is good, although there are more interesting parts of London. The hotel however is pretty run down. I just checked the website and I can say it looks nothing like the pictures. My room (I think 329) was very old fashioned and quite dirty. See pictures of the curtains. There is a pub nearby with I assume a beer garden as it was also noisy until late. It is not the cheapest hotel either. There are better options around.

OK, full disclosure - I didn't make full use of the hotel's services. All I needed was a place to sleep after a night out in London, and for that the hotel suited my needs. First the good points - location. 2 minutes walk from the station and within touching distance of Her Majesty in Bucking Palace, you can't be much more central. Now the not so good points. This Hilton is only 2 blocks from a tube station, in the same neighborhood as the Ritz. Buckingham Palace area is a short walk away across a park. Layout of hotel reflects building heritage, with occasional steps up or down to cross the hallways. Could be difficult to navigate with heavy luggage or bad knees (as in my case). I am sure the staff would assist as needed, though. Room was clean and well laid out... and that Hilton heavenly bed was so comfortable. A very pleasant surprise and defi... Read more

Can't thank her enough for the hospitality shown from her and the staff in the hotel. The room it's self ... Read more

I stayed at Hilton Green Park for 5 nights. The room was not large but it was very clean and comfortable. The highlight was the amazing breakfast. If you love a full English breakfast this is the place. Eggs are cooked to your liking and the staff kept the coffee cup full. I would highly recommend and will stay there again very happily. By the way, I got a much better rate through Expedia then through the Hilton website. Always look at both. Enjoy.

This hotel is old and run-down. The carpet is beat-up and the rooms are stark. Wi-fi barely worked. The restaurant was so bad (for breakfast0 that we did not eat there after the first morning even though it was free with the room. I have no idea how this hotel ever qualified to use the Hilton brand.

An older hotel that does not live up to the Hilton name. My price for a Superior King room got me something in the order of 200 sq feet (if I was lucky) with a window into the middle of nothing. Barely enough room to walk around the bed. If you want a Hilton I would suggest the modern tower for the same price on Park Lane. I was so incensed with my room that when a gentlemen who ons a number of Hiltons in the US and Canada was askingthe front desk to view a room I offered him the chance to see ... Read more

I would give this hotel 3.5 starts if I could, and have rounded up purely due to the location, which is in Mayfair, a few steps away from Piccadilly and Green Park. Whether you're in London as a tourist or for work, it is tough to beat the combination of location and price that this place offers. Further, Half Moon Street is a fairly quiet road (for Mayfair anyway) so you can get a decent night's sleep. Yes, as others have written, the place is a bit tired and worn out on the inside, the carpets... Read more

The bathroom was a massive disappointment! Poor shower head, dirty window, cracked in paint on the ceiling and tiles. The TV was very old and poor picture. It was a small room for two. All in all it did ABSOLUTELY not justify the price of the Hilton in my mind. It was a massive disappointment!

Overall I was disappointed with the standards employed by this hotel. Whilst I can appreciate that a lot of rooms are quite small in hotels around this area, what I found hard to accept is the standard the room. Firstly the curtains were hanging off the rails. Secondly the extractor fan in the bathroom didn??t work and so the bathroom completely filled up with steam when having a shower, impossible to see in the mirror to shave etc. I presume, because of the extractor fan not working, there was... We have just spent a week here again. The hotel of choice when my husband comes to London for work. It's all about the location...and staff and breakfast! The very short walk to: - Green Park Tube line, - Piccadilly Circus - Pret A Manger (the best place for takeaway hot food- I love the soups on a cold day - Great for when husband is away for a work dinner and I can grab some hot food and infamously good UK tv shows in the comfort of hotel room!!) - Wonderfully small Italian restaurant 5mi... I could not fault the staff, very good and professional but the hotel was very outdated and in need of refurbishment. I am a Hilton Honors member and booked a deluxe double room. My room ( 248) was old, outdated, cramped, window blind broken and hanging off the window. Bathroom was tiny, mildew at the shower head and draping shower curtain hanging in the bath! I am very disappointed, I immediately wrote directly to the hotel after my return home and did not even receive a response or acknowledge... Read more

Good location for many attractions. Close to underground . Staff very friendly and very good breakfast! Would highly recommend. Close to Shepherds market where you will find lots of little cafe's, pubs and restaurants. Would recommend Mistro Italian, recommend you book as they turn an awful lot of people away! Small but quaint.

I stayed in this hotel for one night with my partner while visiting London to see the Lion King.   The hotel is in a great and very central location with just a 2 minute walk through the park from Buckingham palace. The hotel is down a nice quiet street meaning that you get very little outside noise.   First impressions of the hotel were great from the outside and the reception area, the room however we were a little disappointed with (the TV did not work and the room was cold even with ... We decided to have a three night break in London and chose this hotel. It is conveniently located - we like to walk and found it easy to get to Knightsbridge, Hyde Park and Oxford Street. The breakfast had a good selection and of reasonable qualify. We found the rooms on the top floor are of better state than those on the ground floor.

Long time Hilton member and I was so excited about this trip. Checked in 11/23/16 , checked out 11/25/16. Great location, room was clean, bed comfortable. In advance I asked for extra towels and two wine glasses. Room had no extra towels, champagne glasses and a chilled bucket of Champagne . Called for service , said please remove Champagne. Room service arrived with more glasses. No thanks take glasses and asked that Champagne be removed. Shower hose was not attached properly - cleaning sta... Read more

Just stayed in room 506. The shower rail has been repaired with black duct tape to hold it together. The shower mixer lets more water through the tap than the mixer and the bed was uncomfortable and slanted. Not the quality I expect from a Hilton.

We have stayed here multiple time. Room on this occasion was not adequate, in need of repair and refurbishment and with few amenities. Not god enough for a center city Hilton. However location is excellent and the room quiet. Breakfast was good.

We had planned weekend in London and chose the Hilton Green Park as I'm a gold Hilton honours member. I can't fault the location it's fantastic, minutes from Green Park and walking distance to pretty much most of the west end if you like a walk, we walked from there to Covent Garden and it was lovely. Check in was ok, we were asked if we need help with our bags. Normally when I check into a Hilton as an honours member I usually get an upgrade offered or if it's busy the receptionist usually ex... The room was horrible. Not what I have come to expect from a Hilton. Was really surprised at the rough shape this room was in. Huge crack and water damage on roof of the bathroom ceiling, mold in the bathroom, drink stains on the wall in the room, carpet was old, damaged and in need of replacement, shower curtain rod was broken and sink plumbing had a leak that you could hear drip for about 10 minutes after every use. Had just stayed the week prior at the Hilton in Stockholm which was perfect no... Read more

Perfect location in Green Park, the hotel is ideal for Mayfair. Short walk to the Mall, Buckingham Palace, Fortnum's. We chose a room which was very good, on the 4th floor at the front of the building, however when we book again it will be at the rear, as we found it very noisy! But the room size and cleanliness faultless! Please, please Hilton sort out your breakfast! For 3 mornings on a row the cooked food was cold! The heat lamps did not keep it warm at all!

Comfortable stay location excellent for getting around London - room alright clean but virtually no hot water which is irritating and whilst I understand it is an old building surely by now this could have been sorted - reception area a bit soulless.
