We specifically asked for a junior suite with a view of Downing Street. We got a junior suite with a view of a solid brick wall through both Windows. Room was nice, view was non existent. Breakfast very good.

Well-located, very tidy if not as boutique-y as the rest of Cambridge. Staff are very helpful-- too many to make a complete list, but Rosann at the front desk was super! One minor glitch-- there is always a test of the fire alarm on Monday afternoons, which doesn't get as prominent a warning as it might. Time before this, it was a little surprising. Also, on last weekend, someone must have jostled an alarm box, because it went off again for no real reason.

This hotel is nice but we've also stayed in nice hotels that cost £70 a night rather than £260. For the price I would have expected the personal touch and service to be impeccable but I don't think it was. The staff when we checked in didn't tell us about breakfast and took an extra £150 from our card in case we ordered anything to the room or broke something, we were told we would get in back within 7 days if everything was fine. I get the reasoning behind it but we had already paid for 3 ro... Read more

So as a bank holiday treat i took my boyfriend to Cambridge and decided to stay here for our 1 night 2 day getaway. We pulled up outside the hotel which is literally next door to John Lewis department store and several different restaurants within walking distance. A chauffeur arrived and took my car away but this still costs £22 each. The reception and surrounding bar and food area is beautiful, both bright and spacious. Although the drinks are expensive they are worth it and the seating a... Read more

People: Excellent Communal Facilities: Very Good Room: Good Pricing: Questionable value for money in my opinion. Valet Parking a nice touch, and the Breakfast also is very good. for 5 stars I would expect the room to be refurbished or the rate adjusted to reflect the rooms. If the rooms matched the quality of the communal areas I would happily pay the rate (£260 paid per night, +Breakfast)

The Hilton Cambridge city centre Hotel is very well located, close to many tourist points of interest, restaurants and pubs. The service is very good and the staff very helpful and polite. The only down side is the car park, the location is not very well indicated, the entrance is too narrow and it is very expensive.

Hotel is in a great location, but this is sadly it's main attribute. Our problems started at check-in, when the upgrade to Jr. suite we'd been promised during online check-in was said to have disappeared and been called a glitch (even though our check in paperwork clearly listed the room number and suite type on it. When we got to our room (212) it had a view of a roof strewn with trash and overturned plastic flower pots. Inside the bathroom, a used maxi-pad sat in the trash. During the stay... Read more

Great location in centre of city. Rooms have been nicely upgraded from old Crowne Plaza. Staff were generally quite helpful and room was spacious and clean. I asked to book for Sunday Roast....said 1500, lady on reception said no problem. Turned up at 1500 to be told it finished at 1430!! I know Cambridge is a popular tourist destination, even during September, but the over £200 per night rate that I had to pay for a standard room at this hotel cannot be justified.
