I love this Hampton - it is just off the beaten track enough to be quiet, but central enough to get pretty much anywhere in London easily either via Waterloo station or the underground. The rooms are reasonably priced and as it's a fairly new hotel it is still super-clean and new feeling. The breakfast area is one of my favourite in London - I stay in London quite a lot for work and I always enjoy breakfast at this Hampton. The seating is relaxed and the buffet choice is great.

room overlooked busy rd, but we didn't hear the traffic at all. room and facilities were great, queen size bed was extremely comfortable, good size room nicely decorated, lovely bathroom. Breakfast was great, self service that offered everything you could possibly want for breakfast, slight irritation was the long queue to be seated for breakfast, but it was worth the wait. Would defo stay again, great location for London eye, shard, Westminster and waterloo station,

We knew we had to take the train to Southampton to catch our cruise and wanted to be somewhere close to the station we needed, but that still afforded us great access to sightseeing, as well as being affordable. This hotel fit the bill exactly. Two block walk to the train station, so we took it both arriving form the airport and then again to head off for our cruise. About a 10 minute walk (if that?) to the Eye, the London Dungeon and from there it was easy to walk across the bridge to see Big B... Read more

ok so disappointed to find when we arrived not only was our room the furthest possible away from the lift but the bed was a small queen-size, thought all the rooms were king nowadays, fiancé does use Hampton often through work but always in the USA so he thought the beds would be much larger. the duvet was pretty lumpy looks as though it had one too many trips through the washing machine and the pillows were the same. We enjoyed 5 nights at this hotel last month. The location near the Waterloo tube stop let us get everywhere we wanted to go in the city. The Hampton inn was newer and well maintained. The room and bathroom were both much smaller than I am used to in the states. There are two tiny drawers and a small closet so with three of us in the room it was tight. The room key must be put in a holder in the room for any lights to work. We enjoyed the very extensive breakfast buffet every day. Whi... Read more

This was our first trip to London and we had no idea what neighborhood to choose. But we usually like Hampton Inns, so we went with the Hampton Inn Waterloo. The hotel doesn't look like much on the outside, but the interior has a nice, clean modern look. The rooms were comfortable (although the beds were too hard for our taste) and clean. This hotel although lower in the standards of Hiltons is excellent value, rooms are every bit as good. Breakfast in morning is very good value and excellent quality. The breakfast buffet was one of the best we have seen at a hotel where the breakfast was included in the room rate. The rooms had modern furniture and were very spacious by European standards. The Hampton was a nice hotel. The rooms were clean and modern/recently renovated. The location was also pretty good in that it was a 10 minute walk to the Waterloo station. My only complaint with this hotel was the service from the front desk though. For example I had to stand in line 3 separate times to check-in. Depending on the price of other hotels nearby, I may or may not come back. My hesitation has nothing to do with the rooms though, which were quite nice.

The lobby area with bar leading on to a very nice restaurant is nicely done. The breakfast is very good - a big plus factor for me when choosing a hotell. The location is great - buses, trains and tube nearby. A minibar, a nice big "hotel pillow" and a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries would have been the icing on... Read more

I took my family to London for the first time and wanted the trip to be perfect for my 7 year old. I looked at several hotels but settled on this one because of the price for the area and the fact I knew Hampton Inn was a good brand since I had worked for one decades ago. I was not disappointed. This hotel is a bit away from everything but is still easy to get to being only .5 miles from Waterloo station. That's not a complaint since that's probably the reason the price is so reasonable. My wife and I stayed for 2 nights in early September after finding our previously booked hotel unacceptable. Alessandro on the front desk was very helpful and accommodating. As our room booked through Expedia wasn't ready, we were offered an upgrade to a very spacious comfortable room on the top floor. The breakfast was very good, the hot food was hot and lots of variety. Overall, we had a great stay, due in large part to the excellent staff starting with Alessandro.

Lots of cool little pubs around, including the Fire Station and The Stage Door (Check those out!). Staff was great, especially Alex, he helped us out on the best train to catch to Gatwick Airport and suggestions of places to check out. I liked staying here, although expect to do a lot of walking! Which I was fine with!

The hotel is new, sparkling clean and a bit too nice for this emerging part of the city. Room is large by British standards, and the bath large and well appointed. The shower has the annoying half glass wall, so that water still sprays onto the bathroom floor. This seems to be a trend in most European hotels, which should be abandoned. Nothing fancy, just practical. You're not paying for fancy btw. Similar to Hampton Inns in the US, breakfast is included. Unlike the US versions however, this is a real breakfast. If you like breakfast, its worth staying here just for that since the hotel prices are so competitive. Typical British breakfast: eg... Read more

We recently stayed ten nights here, while visiting London. The location was perfect, just down the street from Waterloo station. The full hot buffet breakfast, included in the room rate, was excellent, and the dining staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was small, but the bathroom was large, and the entire area was modern and very clean. We had three adults in the room, so once the comfy sofabed was opened, the room was extremely small. There could have been more storage, but most... Read more

This hotel is an excellent choice to stay in London because is so close to Big Ben, London Eye, Waterloo Station. It is a zone with many restaurants and you can walk away with safe. The hotel's building is new, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast is and excellent choice: hot serve, fruits, breads, a really outstanding if you compare with other Hampton in USA. Definitely I recommend this hotel.

This is a modern hotel 10 minutes walk from Waterloo station. It is lacking atmosphere but is functional and clean at a reasonable price for a mid-sized room. Nice and helpful staff. A good (except fot the bread) breakfast buffet was included and the wifi worked fine. We will stay here again next time in London.

5 minute walk to Waterloo underground which will take you to westend in 2-3 stops. Comfortable and clean rooms and decent sized bathrooms. Everything new, AC works perfectly and quiet. Breakfast included and more than anyone would expect. Very good seating arrangement even if busy. Will definitely use this hotel for any future visits to London.

I was at a conference based in King't College, Waterloo and wanted to stay in a decent hotel. This was as good as many 4* hotels and the price through expedia was really good. I will definitely stay here, and the bar seemed to be open all night, which was great, along with the breakfast and general service being top end as well.

My visit was a bit of an adventure with my regular hotels offering insane prices for my stay, I decided to try this hotel. It's nice, functional, with a great value bar. The rooms are a little small, but nice, with all the expected amenities - a superb small bathroom - shower only, and a functional and comfortable work space. This hotel is clearly focused at short term worker stays - aimed at residents/nationals. Not really geared for international visitors. There is no room service. Breakf... Read more

The stay was fine. The hotel is nice, although the breakfast uninspiring for the price. However, all the trouble started afterward. If you book this hotel through a third-party site owned by Expedia you may find both the hotel and the third-party site insisting that the other one is responsible to issue a VAT receipt. This is despicable finger pointing and surely must be illegal in some sense to withhold information about VAT paid! This has spoiled the whole trip for me.

This is a nice, modern, clean and very comfortable hotel in a good location, particularly if you are travelling via London Waterloo station. It is only a relatively short and level walk (20 mins) to Covent Garden via Waterloo Bridge. The beds are very comfortable and the bathrooms clean and functional. The breakfast was of a good quality but it is in a canteen style room and it was, when we stayed, very busy. Having said that everything we needed was available and very nice. The staff were all v... I arrived well before the usual check-in time but my room was ready for me and check-in was fast and friendly - ditto check-out. My shower room was spotless and the bed extremely comfortable. This hotel could not be more convenient for Waterloo, less than five minutes walk away. There is an Asian/ European fusion restaurant attached. I had a decent enough breakfast and at £135 B&B this is pretty good value for central London

I stayed for 2 nights last week. Both bedroom and shower were spotless. No bath (though I never use). Room was quiet and very comfortable bed. Air conditioning/heating could be switched off, and I had an excellent night's sleep. The location is excellent for Waterlook/Westminister. Great selection for breakfast. The restaurant does amazing food.

The rooms are quiet, we're on the 7th floor facing the street and have no complaints. The rooms are small compared to American standards but that's expected. There is very little space to unpack much less store luggage. One of our bags is on the luggage stand, and my bag remains upright in the closet. I have to pull it out every morning to get my clothes. Unfortunately our bags were too thick to just store underneath the beds. Storage is my single biggest complaint. Staff is friendly,... Read more

Recently stayed at this hotel and found it excellent. We arrived at 11 am not expecting to get a room but did, which was a bonus which helped us get out and about straight away. We travelled fro London City airport and the trip took approximately 45 minutes. The hotel is a less than a 5 minute walk from Waterloo station ( if you take the correct exit onto Waterloo road). The quality of the room was excellent and we'll maintained, I think the hotel is fairly new. The breakfast was excellent ... Read more

The only way to successfully make sure you get a room is to walk up to the front desk and book it there and then! If you try and use the Hilton website to make a booking then prepare yourself for multiple emails, several phone calls and excruciating lengths of online dialogue (in our case 4 pages worth). As we were having such poor service online we then tried to contact the hotel direct by phone onto to then be shoved off into the ether and back to a central booking system where it started all ... I decided to book here as the website showed pictures or the Thames, the London Eye and Big Ben. Well what a disappointment after spending £250 for a superior room with views ... well my views were of back streets, almost bordering on slum like. On a more positive note the staff were friendly and helpful. I would not recommend the buffet breakfast as it was disappointing.
