Couldnt fault a thing! It was beautiful and clean and had welcoming staff members. The complementory breakfast was amazing also. The only negative was that there wasnt a kettle in the room which I think is standard at most hotels. Definitely would recommend and be back again.

Great stay for England trip and going into London! The prices were reasonable, the hotel is super nice and modern. When we stayed in the surrounding area, we found shopping areas and food also! We chose to ride the bus into London and that took time, but also saved us money and we saw scenery along the way.

While our room was a bit small, it was just what we needed for a week in London. The location was perfect for getting to the East Croyden station and was only a 15 minute ride into central London. It's just a few blocks away from all sorts of restaurants and shops, too. But if you don't want to walk a few blocks to a pub, they have a fully stoked 24-hour bar just downstairs! To top all of this off, their staff is top notch. They are truly caring and hard-working, and really felt like friends by ... Read more

We found this hotel on Trip Advisor and booked via the Hilton website. Tremendous value for money at £ 80 for the night. Smooth check in despite the app not working properly. Well mannered thoughtful staff. The room on the 9 th floor was quiet, super views. Breakfast was quite tasty especially the sausages. Expresso coffee good - that's high praise from someone who likes a strong coffee taste. Well done to the hotel team

My wife and I stayed in this hotel on 26th June 16. We arrived by car but there was only room for one car to park directly outside and this space was already occupied so we had to park (illegally) some way down the road and carry all our luggage back to the Hotel. Fortunately it was only light rain! Having arrived at the reception desk there was no one to check us in. The one girl present was busy serving drinks behind the adjoining bar. Hotel looks great, but the most important item, the bed, was the cheapest quality we have ever experienced in a hotel and we have stayed in a huge amount. Room was very small and bathroom huge. Bed was so hard my husband made up a bed on the bed settee with an extra duvet on top to pad it out. We did not sleep and woke with aching backs. We were staying two nights, but cancelled the second. I will say that I am very used to American-sized hotel rooms, one of the few things I didn't like about the hotel was our room was very small. However, we were in London to sight-see and didn't need the space for the most part. The bathrooms are very decently-sized, although the shower was interesting to work as there is a large gap between the glass that served to get the bathroom floor wet whenever we took a shower. The bed was also unfortunately too thin for our needs, so it was a little diff... Read more

Stayed for one night recently as was working in Croydon the following day. Great location being a very short walk to Croydon East train station. Hotel rooms are compact but very nice, bed is slightly on the hard side although not too much of a problem. Nice little bar and great breakfast. Last time I stayed I had dinner in the Indian/Chinese restaurant however it appeared to be closed on the night I stayed that was a shame. Would certainly return when in Croydon again.

The Indian and Chinese restaurant that was attached to the hotel has now closed meaning the only food available on site is from a very limited menu. Rooms are compact although of a good standard, in sayi... Read more

Thought I'd found a gem here. My company has just opened offices close by. This place had a gym and was very close. First night moved to another hotel as my room had been allocated for maintenance, not what you want at 10pm at night. Not much in way of an apology, and moved to another hotel, then had to come back with my case before work the next day - now kinda wished I'd had the option to stay. Third night food / drink service was awful. Should be straight forward ordering from the bar, I ... Read more

Stayed 1 week. The room was fine, bed was comfy and everything worked well. Sadly there was no restaurant and the bar was clearly an afterthought, put there because they thought they should have one. Pity. Staff were efficient and friendly.

Stayed in the hotel for few days while visiting London. It is 3-5 min walking from East Croydon train station. The train to London comes every ten minutes and takes up to 15 min to London Victoria or London Bridge. Very comfortable way of commuting. Complimentary breakfast is included in the room rate. It's good for short stay. Considering longer stay, you might get tired of it. The hotel personnel was very nice and helpful. I recommend staying in this hotel. We had fun.

Rooms were very well laid out and had all you need. Location is great for trains and restaurants. Staff friendly and breakfast very good, all in all ticked all the boxes. There is a car park nearby which is subsidised for guests and very reasonable. Very close to East Croydon station and also to the Boxpark venue which will open soon and looks great also.

If you find yourself having to stay in Croydon, this hotel won't be a bad choice. There is a lot of building work in the area, so parking isn't too easy, but once in the hotel, it's modern, clean and quiet. We didn't ear on site, but our room, although small, was perfectly functional to our needs. Used the bar, and service was good. Check in and out also fast and easy.

Check in was very quick and receptionist very polite. Had a room on 8th floor which was not a problem for us... the woman on reception even had the courtesy to ask if this was ok with us! Room was a little on the small side and bed wasn't the comfiest. Mattress was very hard however this is the only negative thing I have to say. Very clean. Plenty tea and coffee etc. Air-conditioning worked a treat. Bathroom was very clean. Loved the body wash/ shampoo etc etc that was provided! Breakfas... Read more

Apart from the fact it took me forever to get to the hotel due to goodness knows how many roads closed due to roadworks I was very disappointed to find out that I'd made a mistake and booked the wrong hotel. I would never have knowingly booked this one. There is no carpark. Well.....actually there is but it's about half a mile away as their own has problems. Would have been a good idea to put that on the website then? The postcode that the disinterested reception staff gave me didn't exist so ... Read more

The hotel is very clean and modern. The staff are really friendly and is close to the train station and central Croydon. I needed somewhere to sleep. And have breakfast in the morning. And this hotel delivered on all my needs. I will return here next time I'm in Croydon. For sure.

This hotel is 15/20mins on train from Victoria station. The train station is a few metres About 50m from hotel. No need for taxi just walk to hotel. When travelling with family to visit London no need to squeeze into one room you can afford your own with this hotel. Free breakfast for all guests and a very good breakfast it is. If visiting London ideal hotel for doing just that. Not paying inflated prices to stay in the city. Get an Oyster card - this is a card you top up and use at stat... Read more

Hotels in central London are expensive, but just a quick train ride out Croydon and you get a bargain! Trains to Croydon are frequent and run into the early morning at the weekend and the hotel is a stone's throw from the station. All Hamptons give complementary breakfast too

Not everyone would choose to be in East Croydon but if that's where you need to be, this is a very good choice. The hotel seemed to be very new. The room was quite small but had an excellent bathroom, great free breakfast and it was a short walk from the station which has excellent connections.

I stay here regularly on business and really like it....and it's good vfm. Good facilities in the room, usually including an armchair and footstool which I like on my lazy evenings (they used to have lap trays as well but I notice that few rooms seem to have these now). I think the beds comfortable (although a colleague finds them a bit hard!) and there's a choice of pillows. I think the rooms are probably a little over-crowded for two people, but ideal for one. Basic 'Express' type breakfast,... Read more

Stayed here on business in November 2016 and the first and only issue I came across upon arrival is the fact the hotel doesn't have a car park, which when you arrive late is frustrating. You have to park in the NCP car park which is located on the other side of the dual carriage way. That said, everything else was lovely. Reception area is lovely and the rooms are great, nice and spacious and clean, nice little sofa and foot stall, tv, iron equipment etc. Really really nice! If this place had ... Read more

Broom cupboard rooms, I banged my leg 3times between the end of the bed and the back wall. If you sat on the end of the bed you could touch the back wall with your hand. Not only was the room appallingly small, but I then had to have breakfast in the lobby as the breakfast room was full. Truly shocking experience. I will not be back.

First time at a Hampton Hilton and they are more basic but perfectly adequate for a night. Room was clean and comfortable and shower was larger than expected. There's a small bar downstairs. My main gripe is the parking. The hotel doesn't have any and you would normally park opposite but it is blocked due to extensive roadworks. The next nearest car park was a real hike away, with bus only or taxi only roads. For a non city person I found it a nightmare, obsessed I'd be getting a ticket for some... Read more

I booked through after reading the available information. First thing to point out is that there is no parking. The nearest car park is about a 1 mile drive and a 10 minute walk away. Also, despite the sign outside of the hotel, there is no restaurant. They offer a very limited bar menu. Check in was quick and efficient, my room was very small, I stay in many hotels across a year including Hilton brand and this was smaller than average to say the least.
