The lobby area is smart and the staff are excellent, so it is a disappointment to find that the rooms are not much more than a foot longer than the beds and the usable space in the room about three feet wider. I could not sit at the "desk" -- which just accommodated the footprint of my laptop and mouse pad and an A4 note pad -- without moving the bed. The bed itself was extremely comfortable and the light proofing was effective. The shower was of a compact design with a door that shielded only ... Read more

The staff are of are a good standard but are let down by insufficient training that would allow for efficient processing of reservations, drink and food orders etc. We stayed for 3 nights and on each day staff also forgot to allow enough towels etc for the third person in our room. Stayed here for 1 night (mum and daughter). The hotel is hotel is lovely and is within walking distance of a cinema, Hollywood bowl and some nice resteraunts as well as a football site. Staff are very nice and helpful - gave us a taxi number on arrival as the location is slightly out of Oxford city centre but that was not a problem due to convenient taxi services of a fixed rate of £12. Because we arrived earlier than check in time, reception staff allowed us to check in earlier which was great... Read more

Poor service, not very attentive. Not a warm reception to say the least. The rooms are fairly small with windows that dont open and are small squares. Provide easily a feeling of claustrophobia. Hotel brand new so everything is in great condition. Free parking.

Rooms small, single bed uncomfortable with metal frame that was very cruel and painful when u sat down. Asked for extra blanket as freezing to be told they didn't have any at all!! Told to turn up heating which wasn't comfortable for others I was sharing with. Breakfast poor choice and quality, seating for breakfast chaotic. Staff rude or uninterested and unable to understand simple requests due to language issues. First time in a Hampton and definitely my last!!

Hotel and its rooms are very nice and clean. Personnel was very friendly. Breakfast can be much better: limited choice, instant coffee machine, bake-off breads not long enough baked, they runned out of bread and someone needed to complain to activate another series of not sufficiently baked little breads/croissants. So for the hotel 5 out of 5 stars, breakfast I would give 2 out of 5 stars. Result given 4 stars.

I stayed here for 1 night whilst on business in the area. The hotel is new, clean and fresh. My room was small but perfect for a quick stop over with comfortable bed, good to and a great shower. The hotel has a small fitness room which is open 24 hours which was an added bonus and helped my keep up with my fitness regime. Good free breakfast with hot and cold options.

As ever with Hilton, the room was comfortable. However, the staff weren't particularly friendly or helpful. The barman seemed a nice lad, but didn't seem to have very good English and so I had to state my order several times before he understood. Also - £1.50 for a 30g pack of ready salted Walkers crisps?

Finding a quality hotel on the outskirts of Oxford isn't easy, this hotel is a welcome new addition. A few early teething problems but otherwise a very nice stay, arrived late at night managed to grab a pizza which was better quality than I expected. I still can't work out why so many hotels don't give you a bottle of water in your room especially in the summer.

..This hotel is new and clean with friendly staff - No complains there, but the location is not very charming. The hotel does not offer a restaurant and the only choice is a next door mall, with really poor food options. The breakfast is properly the worst I've tried as a business traveller for ages. No cheese, No yoghurt, no fresh fruit ..... poor coffee and watered down juice. You can't do much about the neighborhood, but they should be able to up the game on the breakfast.

Very clean, comfortable and well equipped room. Dining and sitting areas nicely furnished and again very clean. Complimentary breakfast ok, but the cooked breakfast was below standard with poor choice and rather a "mass produced" look about it. Very good choice of Continental breakfast, juices, teas & coffee. Reception staff not overly welcoming on our arrival, although the female receptionist was helpful. We used the hotel as a base while visiting family, so it was ideal.

Booked as family of 5 two months in advance, ordered two rooms at full price as read reviews which stated there are lots of adjoining rooms, which is true. We eventually managed to get adjacent (but not adjoining) rooms which were two halves of rooms that potentially adjoined with other rooms. So spent whole stay going into corridor with two different key cards to get into next door room. Hotel was new and good. Location was too isolated and too far away from city center. Internet and free breakfast were great. There were no nice restaurants within walking distance. This is a very nice hotel. Very clean, and above standard. The room was nice and so was the breakfast, with a nice selection. Unfortunately the hotel is situated ca. 40 minutes from the town center by bus. And the bus does not stop near the hotel, you have to walk aprox. 8. minutes. The bus service in Oxford are at very good standard, and we managed, so I guess you have to choose what is more important. I would recommend the hotel, because of the good standard.

We had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The lady employee (Portuguese of origin) is outstanding. She is very professional, friendly, and cares not only about the customers but her colleagues. If there is any problem, the hotel management will circle the wagons with corporate policy and make you wrong. They lack basic skills in empathy, listening, and negotiation. The hotel is situated near the Oxford Football ground and the Science Park. The open plan reception area does very limited food if your not kern to walk, but you do have the choice of Frankie & Benny's around the corner. Breakfast is basic but fit for purpose. Not a hotel for a weekend break, but as a get a good night's sleep on fits the bill.

Does what it says on tin. Clean, quiet, comfortable place. Handy for purpose of visit. Staff are lovely and very helpful. Complimentary breakfast perfunctory and ok but not usual Hilton standard. Only scrambled egg and no choice of poached or fried. Coffee ok. The wine list dismal and new world. But just fine for quick trouble free stay.

It's near the football stadium. It is clean, new, good value. Not convenient for the town center. Breakfast was nicely made. There's a bowling alley next door. The staff was friendly and helpful. The quality we expect from a Hilton property.

Stayed here on business with two colleagues recently. The rooms are basic but well equipped so I was happy with that. It was when we grabbed a bite to eat downstairs when we were seriously let down. We all ordered the beef lasagne, which was well worded on the menu and seemed like the best choice. When it was served it was 100% clear that it was just a cremated microwave meal. To top it off the plates were basically dropped on our tables without as much as an "enjoy your meal". Felt like we wer... Read more

We booked the hotel for a two night Fri-Sun stay with a deal which included breakfast. The hotel is situated a carpark away from the Kasam Stadium which was the reason for the trip. Parking is free and the hotel is limited to three floors accessed by a lift and stairs. The reception staff were pleasant and the room was modern and light with nice decor and the usual the, coffee, toiletries etc. There was free wi-fi in all areas and a large tv. The shower was walk in and nice with good water press... Read more

The hotel is outside Oxford , but taking a bus or taxi is easy . The taxi to and back from the hotel to the city center is a fixed price of £ 12? The hotel is new , and very clean. We arrived at London Heathrow Airport at terminal 2 , and followed a direction to the bus station . We purchased a ticket that cost each adult £ 24 , before we boarded the bus , but the ticket can be purchased in the bus also. It took about 90 minutes driving from the bus station to the last bus station : Glouces... Read more

It is a Hilton hotel as far as the decoration ......The breakfast area was very smart positioned and had a little bit of everything, but it was too poor as far as the service is concerned.Ok,it is a self service area but at least you can keep it full for the ones that don't wake up at 7 pm .Many things where missing. The reception was too slow....for everything. The room was ok,small, clean and smartly designed but it didn't have a fridge.Very good location, close to the stadium,a place full of games...
