Stayed there at the end of a cruise with another couple. Nice size room, very modern. No real view but easy walk to Westminster and Buckingham. Ate in the club bar and found it to be pricy, but very good. The staff was really helpful in helping to get taxi to Heathrow when the city roads were being shutdown for a bike race. If back in London would stay again

We stayed here for four nights. It is just beyond Westminster Abbey. All the major sites were within walking distance. Furthest walk was to Tower of London, which was about 3 miles. However, it gave us a chance to walk along the river and to see sites on the way there and back.

We really enjoyed our 3 nights stay. The room was very comfortable, had everything we needed (even a digital clock), very clean and quite. The breakfast room was modern and spacious and the food was more than enough and yammie! The stuff always smiling and ready to serve our needs. The location is perfect! There is a bus passing right outside the hotel that takes you in Oxford street (it goes all the way to Camden) and in a few minutes walk it's the Pimlico underground station. Overall it is a ho... Stayed here for a family trip in May. Lovely, clean hotel with really great customer service. It's what you would expect from a Doubletree--cookie on check-in, clean rooms, and good service. The rooms are compact--pretty standard in a big city like London or NYC. They have a iMac in every room and free wifi. The executive lounge was a highlight for us--with wine and appetizers available in the evening. They have an extensive buffet in the main dining room for breakfast at an extra charge. Our on... Great hotel with a great location for seeing the sights of London. I don't believe this is a family oriented hotel as they have a limited number of family sized rooms capable of holding families plus kids. The rooms were on the small size which is expected in the UK. However, I was expecting the family sized rooms to be bigger than the norm. Overall, great location and great customer service by the staff.

I stayed with my family in a Queen Deluxe Family Room with a rate of 229 GBP for 1 night. We arrived into London late, our room keys were issued and we ran up and dropped out luggage off. I wish I would have turned on more lights to see the condition of the room. When we returned from touring and dinner, the room was a great disappointment. The floor was in extremely poor condition. Shoes must stay on, for a 9 year old, that was extremely difficult. The sink was clogged and wouldn't drain.... Read more

This is a clean, quiet hotel tucked away on a side street in Westminster, away from tourist areas. Our room for 2 was small, but modern and very functional. The Apple Mac, which doubled as a TV, was a nice touch. Tiny, but functional bathroom. Shower, no tub. Our first room had a foul odor and clogged sink, but the staff quickly changed it and helped move our luggage. There's a full English breakfast served in a dining room on real, not paper, plates. This hotel in Millbank proved to be a good compromise between staying in the city at more expensive hotels and way out with the tourist hoards around Gloucester Road. Nice little quiet park nearby on a good day, right next to The Tate and a 10 min walk to Pimlico tube was easy. 15 mins in opposite direction puts you at the amazingly impressive Houses of Parliament (and the less impressive Brexit chaos and political backstabbing and games that were playing out inside same week.) The location of the hotel is excellent - close to the Thames, the Tate Britain and a 10 minutes walk to Parliament, Westminster Abbey and the Eye. Although there was construction going on nearby the hotel arranged for an attractive walkway to avoid the construction. Our room was very quiet and I appreciated the hotel staff arranging for us to be on the 8th floor with a tiny view of the Thames. All in all we were very satisfied with our stay at the hotel.

We started here for five nights while in London, the hotel is in a great quiet location but not ideal for restaurants or food away from the hotel. We weren't in one of the new refurbished rooms but we had plenty of space for a inner city hotel. The location is great to walk to the main, Royal attractions. The bus tours however aren't nearby and you have to walk a bit to get to a stop...max 10 mins. While we were there a guest set off the fire alarm, this was handled very well by the hotel staff.

When we were not walking towards Trafalgar Square area, we travelled on the 87 or 88 buses, that pass towards the rear of the hotel, along the Thames embankment, and go towards Trafalgar Square and the Aldwych, via Parliament Square. This hotel is less than 1/2 mile from Big Ben, Westminster Abby and the London Eye. Great location to be based out of when visiting London. Room service was quick and good. Room was small, but adequate. Executive Lounge was a little weak for what I'm used to, but it had the essentials. Overall I'd recommend this hotel and stay here again. The service and room were what one expects from Doubletree- actually, the room is much smaller than what you would expect, but well kept. The main problem with this hotel is that the nearest tube station is Pimlico and there is nothing of interest in the surrounding area- don't let the 'Westminster' address fool you, it is in a leafy area surrounded by apartment buildings and one grocers, one great Italian restaurant and maybe two off licences within a ten minute walk. Would have been nice to get one of the renovated rooms. Our room was older, with missing grout in the shower and parts of the countertop peeling. The bar was nice and the service in the bar was good. The hotel concierge need to reevaluate his position working with people as he was not a nice man.

10 minutes walk from Westminster or Pimlico Tube Station. Next door to Tate Britain and not far from Parliament Square/Westminster Abbey, this hotel was welcoming, very clean and the staff were all great. Excellent hotel with great breakfast. Views generally rubbish below the 9th floor, a trip up to the fitness suite on the 13th floor gives a stunning view over London.

An all round good visit for the money. We upgraded to a Queen room which gave us access to the executive club. The room was quite small but then we did have an extra bed in here for my son. But it was OK. A shower and no bath which was a bit of a shame. The bed we had was very hard and I found it impossible to sleep. My son was thrilled with his bed and he slept very well. There was no noise at night from other rooms which was good. Breakfast was of a good quality. There was access to the execut... Read more

We stayed here for one night and overall it was OK. The hotel is pretty new and in good decor. The room was good with all the expected goodies such as tv, kettle toiletries. Wifi was free and worked in our room (207). Instead of a tv, the room had an iMac computer which is not very user friendly as a telev ision and unless you own an apple computer, is not the easiest thing to use! Breakfast was pretty manic as the hotel was very busy and they only have one area for cooked food and one area for ... Read more

My father is a Suez war veteran who marches at the cenotaph each year. We choose Doubletree by Hilton Westminster as it is in a prime location and within walking distance of the senotaph. Each member of staff at doubletree addressed my father with the respect these veterans truly deserve. Wonderful hotel and staff.

Stayed 10 days at the DoubleTree and wasn't disappointed at all. Check in staff was really friendly and, of course, I got a warm chocolate cookie. Yum! Had a room on the 10th floor, the executive floor. The room was a nice size and like other reviews have stated before, the bathroom is a tad small. The Apple computer doubled for the TV, which needed getting used to. The room had a small fridge, which was stocked with a couple bottles of water. My room had a small closet to hang your shirts and ... Read more

We had a great expierence in this hotel. It is nice and clean, in the heart of London. Breakfast is really worth buying it. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here. We had an extra bed in our room, so it wasn't too much space, but wasn't too bad. You don't need to bring your laptop if you are staying here, as every room has an apple all in one computer. It was very handy to have it! Worth the money you pay!

The customer service was excellent during our stay. We found the staff to be responsive, warm & professional. The room was a little too hot. The AC was not effective. That said, the staff worked very hard to make us comfortable.

Stayed here for 5 nights on business. Again the reception staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The rooms are excellent with free internet and Apple Mac computers, complimentary water and all the facilities you would expect. The hotel have a carbon footprint policy in place meaning if you forgo your room being serviced during the day, you get a £5 voucher for use in the hotel. The breakfast is the best in London. The selection, variety and flavours cannot be beaten. they even had... Read more

Stayed here for a night when I went to London to watch the Rugby. Location is brilliant, Big Ben, Buckingham Palace all within walking distance. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was nice, lots of choice of hot and cold (no black pudding though!) The complimentary warm cookie on check in was a nice touch!

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel with our granddaughter and find it perfect for us. The location is fine with convenient bus stops or with a 10 to 15 minute walk to Pimlico underground.

1 night stay with my Father after attending an event at Westminster Abbey The usual Double Tree warm welcome at reception, spacious well appointed rooms on the 9th floor and a fantastic breakfast in a well managed busy restaurant. Really convenient for Tate Britain and the Abbey, will definitely stay again

The biggest plus here is location - very close to the river, Tate Galley, Houses of Parliament, West End. Also not far from Victoria. We had a King Room with a partial view of the Thames. The price was relatively reasonable. Reception was quick and friendly. The 9th floor room was OK but disappointingly small and bland, and really no more than a slightly smarter Premier Inn. Ditto the bathroom, which was very small, and had no bath.

Rooms are decent and clean, although the bathroom (I stayed in the executive room) is so tiny! Not sure if that's an English thing. Downside is that the train station is atleast about 10mins walk away, and there are no restaurants nearby/at the hotel area if you would want to grab a quick bite. Other than that this hotel is a decent stay for business travellers.

This hotel was very clean and up to date. The location was in walking distance to many highlights like Westminster abby. If you are a hilton platinum member, the conceriege floor and lounge is full service. The breakfast buffet was very wide in selection. The staff was helpful and friendly.

Just for the experience, we took the Heathrow Express, to the tube and then called Uber once we reached the Westminster tube stop. From there, it was only a ten minute ride away to the hotel. Once we arrived, we noticed that the lobby was well appointed. There wasn't much of a line and we were able to check-in right away (YES!). The staff were all very friendly and bubbly which was nice after a long journey. We booked the queen accessibility room because we wanted more space, but to our surpris... Read more

Does everything you can expect of a big chain hotel in London. Decent accommodation close to the centre at reasonable rates. Recommended. Parking spaces in the car park are very tight for all but the smallest cars.

Enjoyed our stay at the Double Tree with a cookie on entrance! Really good location close to the underground and parliament. Only slight disappointment was no 24 hour room service, it all ends at 23:30 but the concierge was good at recommending a delivery pizza!

I really didn't know this part of London until we stayed here. Just up the road from Tate Britain, and a short walk from Westminster. Modern with rooms that are small but have everything one needs. One bizarre feature which I have never seen before. Roma cost about £260 a night. They make you this great offer. If you don't want your room cleaned they will give you a voucher for five whole pounds! What on earth is that about? Otherwise, nothing to complain about.
