As I write the floor is vibrating beneath my feet and the ceiling rattling with the ongoing noisy construction work. Impossible to work - hence why I am on tripadvisor instead. Apparently every room in the hotel is suffering the same, having asked Reception if I could move. To be avoided until the work complete I would suggest! Staff were friendly and professional enough on arrival...but no mention of this was made at check-in of course. Shame, otherwise seems a decent hotel.

Close to Marble Arch Tube Station this is a nice hotel with comfortable room and clean feel to everything. The hotel was quiet, nice staff and good breakfast. Simple lobby area. Didn't try the bar area during my trip and was not in the hotel much but was surprised by the size of the room. The air conditioning was good too. A bit of construction going on around the area but it is London where there always seems to be construction.

Great stay at Double tree. The staff were very helpful and the room clean. There were construction attached to the hotel but not disturbing the stay. The location of the hotel is great. Walking distance to marble arch, bond street and Oxford street. The only comment on breakfast where need some improvement in the variety. Overall extremely satisfied.

This was a nice hotel that wasn't overly expensive. But it didn't feel cheap either. The rooms are typical European style not large but fine for two people. The location was great as well, you can walk down Oxford street for miles and have plenty do and eat.

The hotel is accesible and walking distance for the main point of interest. However, rooms were too small, windows did not shut down totally and noise from the streets were very disrupting at night. Windows can be repaired to seal noises.

We stayed at the Doubletree Marble Arch for three days. The desk staff were professional. Mohammad, the Bell Man was personable & helpful. We had a Deluxe King room. The room was small & there was jackhammer construction outside our window all three days. However, the jackhammer seemed to stop at 4PM & we were up & out early each day. Our stay was almost spot on. Location is perfect, especially for shopping lovers like me, it's like a minute away from Oxford Street. The rooms are nice and beds comfortable. Only reason I haven't given this hotel a 5 star is due to check in; I called up before and requested an earlier one at 2pm rather than 3pm. The only reason I have not given this a 5 is that the room was a little on the small side (Room 225) but other than this the location is fantastic and every member of staff that we came in touch with were friendly, helpful and attentive. Elena makes the best Mojitos!!

I stayed here, relatively close to Paddington for the Heathrow Express. Good experience overall: room was quiet, comfortable & clean. One issue was the A/C that didn't respond to the on-wall controls, everything else good. Better breakfast options than many similar central London hotels. Location convenient for Hyde Park, Oxford St., Paddington & the Edgeware Rd.

They put me in the basement room. Lights went out and couldn't be fixed. They were sold out and had to put me in another hotel. The consergie new nothing and was terrible in helping us find a restaurant and a tour. the service was terrible! The rooms old!

My mom and I are staying here for the fourth time this year. Perfect location for shopping and right near Marble Arch tube. Rooms are lovely and clean and spacious. The hotel is also very quiet which we like. Breakfast is great everything you could want to eat! One more reason we love returning is the Concierge Danny he always remembers us! We love staying here! We took rooms for the family. The twin rooms are small and cramped. The maintenance of the rooms was poor. In one, the TV, airconditioning did not work and 2 lights went on and off randomly. Also they put a queen and a twin in a twin room and then there was no room for the chair that had to be removed. In the second room there were again lights that went on and off randomly. We chose this hotel because it was just around the corner from Marble Arch and the North entrance to British Summertime festival in Hyde Park. The location could not have been better. Very centrally located. Easy to get to the Underground or the bus routes. Staff very friendly. Price good for the rooms and amenities. Free internet and the cookies are always nice addition. Hotel is in a house built for King George's mistress so there is history in the building as well as the city. Nice!

Great example of a modern Doubletree in an old building. Stayed here 3 times over the course of several months and although each time I had a different room all were very spacious, recently refurbished and very comfortable. Staff was great at every occasion and made you feel welcome. Decent but average breakfast for a Hilton establishment. Excellent hotel at a good location, will definitely go back.

This hotel is lovely, the rooms and bathrooms are clean and the room we had was spacious. The location is fabulous jut minutes from Hyde Park or minutes from Oxford Street, we will definitely return. There is an NCP car park right across the road and although it is around £40 per 24 hour overnight stay parking centrally is not usually this convenient, alternatively access from Euston is so simple.

The best about this hotel is the staff at the bar, reception and restaurant. Very good. The rooms are kind of small, but the location is convenient. Close to Marble Arch tube station. There is a restaurant that is not part of the hotel (texture) which is amazing, but very expensive and you cannot charge to the room. THe regular restaurant has no windows

The hotel is centrally located in London and is staffed with friendly people who made my stay pleasant to remember. From house keepers, to janitors, front office and bar staff, they were all willing to be of assistance to guests.

The hotel is very comfortable. Rooms are smallish, although that is to be expected in London, and I was traveling alone for business so it didn't matter anyway. The staff was friendly and helpful. As a Hilton Gold member, I was offered breakfast, which was served in a pleasant room in the basement of the hotel and consisted of typical Full English fare. The location is terrific. This the perfect hotel if you feel like going to london for Shopping. the hotel is litterly 2min walk from Oxford street which is the main Shopping stree in london. There are also a large number of resturants around the area were you can explore by foot. the service is great at the hotel and the standard is as per any other Hilton hotel. worth the little extra money compared to hotels further away/

Loved this location! It was close to Hyde Park, which is a great place to run in the morning . Also walking distance to many attractions. The hotel is nice but old. We stayed in a room that was dark and small. There was a small window but it did not allow any sunshine to come in. The room was an awkward shape, for example, the safe was on the bottom shelf of the closet which was right next to the bathroom. This an excellent property to visit London. It is well located in the Marble Arch neighborhood and not pricey for the neighborhood. The staff extremely helpful and was able to accommodate special requests. The rooms are tight, but this is Central London. The only thing I would say is that the concierge are not a good source of information. Better to ask the front desk or Google.

maybe we were unlucky in being allocated a room below ground level, but should a hotel charging these prices really have rooms like this. noisy due to street level traffic and also service areas on that floor. Concierge/Bell Captain not available when we arrived at hotel to take bags from taxi, but was there to take bags to room!! (No lift service to our room). This hotel is clean, affordable and in a great location near Oxford Street. Staff excellent. Very near by Bond and Marble Arch tube stations provide easy access to Tower of London, St Pauls, Buckingham Palace, etc.

The hotel was beautifully presented and the reception was very helpful with my faulty card, the rooms were spacious and very clean , the air conditioning did wonders and room service was impeccable. We arrived on Friday the 9th shortly after lunch and left on the Sunday and I've got to say I loved it! We had a fantastic room, which was kept very clean by a lovely lady, the staff were amazingly friendly in the bar and serving breakfast and I even had gluten free bread and sausages without any problem! We will definitely return.

Great location and very friendly staff combined with a clean room. Everything I needed for my quick business trip to the UK. The cookie at check-in was also a nice surprise :) The check-in experience was one of the best I've ever had and I've stayed in many hotels over the years.

Quick to tell you NO! not so fast on helping or finding a solution. I would never stay here again, we booked the room with an early check-in and explained this to Hilton who assured us that it would be all- good-to-go. We had to travel to London and Left home 5am to arrive by 11am. Only to be told to come back at 3pm!!!!! Our lunch was booked for 1:30 at the Ivey and had been for three months. This hotel is very well located just off of Oxford street so probably about a minute's walk away from the shops. The hotel itself is clean, rooms are reasonably small and I found them quite dark. However, the main problem I had was the noise - I am a very heavy sleeper but the noise from the street (police/ambulance sirens etc) was very loud as the windows are only single glazed. We found this hotel to be convenient to Oxford Street shopping and buses, as well as the Marble Arch tube stop and Hyde Park. Many of London's highlights were within about a half-hour walk. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and the staff were pleasant and helpful.

Although my room wasn't big, it was comfortable and clean, located a few minutes walk from hide park and on oxsford street, so I saw no need for cabs- though did use the tube. The staff was very helpful and payed extra attention to me during breakfast time trying to accommodate me with fresh fruits etc.

From arrival woth poor check in then a full day with no lift and being on the fourth (top) floor they tell us to climb the stairs (I have a bad hip and awaiting surgery and also high blood pressure. My wife also suffers from Blood pressure. No effort until friends in the legal profession arrived and kicked up a fuss but by then it was evening.

I had a much larger room last time, you cannot swing a cat in the room I had and would not come back unless I had at least a double bed. Shower is showing signs of model and need repair. Bed was good and best air conditioning unit in London. Just too small for me.

Had a Weekend break and chose to stay here, very close to marble arch station so In easy reach of central London. Very clean hotel which provides good facilities. Including warm cookies on arrival !! Would recommend

I stay at a lot of Hilton properties with my work travels and this is always one of my favorites. However, the lounge is almost an after thought for these guys. Make sure you ask for a "double room" and not a single or you could get a broom closet.

stayed here on a business trip. the location is good but the room was VERY small. floor space was maybe a foot and a half either side of the bed and 2 foot at the bottom of the bed. OK for a single traveller who just needs somewhere to sleep and wash. The elevator and corridors are also very narrow so if you got bags to carry youve got a problem. Ive stayed in London a lot and rooms are typically small but this is crazy

A very modern hotel, with lovely, clean rooms. The hotel is centrally located to major shopping areas. Breakfast is great value and very fresh. Fitness center is more than adequate. Sade that a stay in the hotel not automatically gives any pointes at HHonors program. The hotel is located nearby Marble Arch which is near all shopping. The rooms are lite too small to be fully comfortable. The personal service is good and the breakfast was good as well.

Great location, walking distance to Oxford Street, Bus Tours, Shopping and Restaurants. With HHonors, you get free WiFi, and also opted for the breakfast, which was pretty filling. Rooms are a bit small (compared to the USA), same for bathrooms, but the staff works really hard to make sure your stay is memorable.

So this hotel is in a great location just off Oxford Street. The staff are really friendly and helpful so two important elements when staying at a hotel. However the room (double) was so small you would struggle if there were two of you in the room and you were getting ready or if you went shopping and came back with bags. I have stayed at numerous hotels in London over the years, and so far is this my favourite. Located in the shopping centre of London, just 30 seconds north of Oxford Street, it is a perfect place to start exploring the town. This is a very good 4 star hotel. Staff were kind and very helpful. The rooms are a good size and very clean. Classic Hilton type hotel where you know what you are going to get. It was a little pricey but given the location i.e. 30 second walk to Oxford street, it was worth it. Centrally located near oxford street and Hyde park. Tube was 2 minute walk. Edgware road is a 4 minute walk. Happily would stay here again. No hassle or stress. Very good hotel.

The hotel is very conveniently located 2 mins walk from Oxford Street and Marble Arch station. We were close to food and shopping. The hotel service was fantastic. We arrived around 9am and our rooms were already ready. We were greated with delicious cookies. Throughout the stay, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only negative is the stairs to and from the rooms. It was difficult with a stroller.

If you are looking for 5-star service, this is the hotel for you. If you are very particular about room size, silence, working amenities, airconditioning, etc., look elsewhere! This hotel only has one lift and the rooms are incredibly boxy and very lacklustre.

hotel location is excellent, next to Oxford street. Room is small so is the bath room. There was no shower hose in the bath room, only rain shower. Mattress was soft for old people, internet only can be used for one device and quite often disconnected.

The hotels location is great, you step out the door and your in the middle of Oxford street. Rooms and service are amazing, restaurant downstairs has some of the best food I have tasted. Would definitely come again.

The location was perfect and the staff was all very attentive. The room size was adequate but the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was as though there were two very thin twin sized beds shoved together and then something hard was placed down the seam to keep them together. The room was clean and the bathroom was nicely equipped.

I checked into this hotel and then checked out again an hour later. Room was extraordinarily small and dark .. and why on earth a hotel in gloomy London decided to go with a maroon color scheme, ugh. Have to say the staff was professional and attempted to find a bigger room, but at this point I just wanted to stay in a Hilton where I knew exactly what I was going to get. We had a superior Kind bed room. It was old, cold and the heating system were so incredible noisy. You could not sleep with the heating system noise. The rooms are very outdated and very overpriced. Only the baths are OK, but then again They have no heating. I recently spent several days at this relatively expensive hotel. The place was deplorable and unsanitary, with an unresponsive front desk.
