I had a planned layover in London for 24 hours on my way through. I stayed at this hotel because the location seemed good for seeing as much of the city as I could in 24 hours and it was reasonable priced. I landed earlier than the normal check in time, called ahead, and they let me check in a few hours early with no issue. The hotel allowing me to do this was great. I was able to shower and get dressed after an over night flight; this alone really improved my stay. I have zero negative comments... Read more

I needed a base to explore Chelsea and Windsor, and this DoubleTree fit the bill. Sure, it's pretty much the same as a DoubleTree anywhere in the world, but that wasn't a concern for this visit. Exceptionally clean rooms and common areas, as expected from a DoubleTree or Hilton property. Very efficient and courteous staff who helped me map the public transportation routes. Excellent location only a short walk to the tube. Tesco is just across the street. The onsite bar and restaurant were also ... Read more

Good Hotel located in Chelsea, nice sized room but overlooking a main road which was very busy late into the night. Nice check in experience with a hot cookie! Good sized breakfast room and bar area (bar serves my current favourite Sauvignon Blanc, but at £9 a glass was a bit expensive as I can currently buy a bottle for ?10!) Excellent breakfast, lots of choice. The guest next to me was a bit annoying shouting down her phone (in Dutch, I think) on Skype, but again the wifi has to be paid ... Read more

I was only allowed to mark this as very good or excellent. It's better than very good but not quite excellent. The location is a lovely area with enough transport to get you around. Also within walking distance or certain areas of you don't mind the few miles. Staff were friendly and hotel rooms were pleasant.

Great hotel as you would expect from Hilton. Everything excellent and good value for money. Breakfast very tasty and good quality. Make sure you book over night parking at Capital Parking near Roca Gallery not Imperial Wharf Parking which is more expensive. The hotel have a special overnight rate of £20.

Very convenient to my appointments. Front desk staff very welcoming. Room location too close to Housekeeping office: miss had long, loud, Spanish telephone conversations in the morning, in the hallway. Connecting door to next room needs sound-proofing: over heard loud phone calls. Carpet worn in places.

The hotel is in a good location near Imperial Wharf Station. I arrived early, but the reception staff found me a room for an early check in. Room was quite generous, with air conditioning. Ate dinner in the restaurant which as nicely presented and good value, breakfast was just as good. Tesco Express across the road which was handy. Staff were very polite and extremely helpful. Stayed for four nights. The hotel it very close to Imperial Wharf station. Room was a reasonable size and comfortable. Rather curiously in order to have the window open, you had to call reception who sent someone up to open it. If you then closed it, you had to call them again. Breakfast was OK - the staff were sometimes very pleasant and at other times less so. I've stayed in this hotel many times. Good hotel, but the cleanliness did let it down a bit on the last visit. Toiletries in bathroom were not fully replaced and it was a bit of an ordeal to get re stocked. Good value for money in London though and will be back. Ticks all boxes for business hotel.

Great location, really nice rooms and friendly staff. I have stayed here a few times now and it always works really well. Some hotels don't live up to the hype but this certainly does. Also lots of really good restaurants in walking distance.

Stopped for one night, thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay. Staff seemed very happy to help, nicely located and would certainly attend again. Comfortable bed, good size bathroom, would certainly recommend.

Stayed here this weekend as celebrating my birthday nearby. Very good location to Imperial Wharf station, literally less than a minutes walk away, but not so quick and easy to get into central London as you might be used to if you're from around London.. couple of overground train changes before getting to the tube which is a tiny bit of a pain but not a deal breaker by any means. Room itself was ok although our air con wasn't working and our shower only had a dribble of water coming out of it -... Read more

Nothing to complain about I would definately stay again. Close to train station which links to the underground. Everything was within easy reach. Breakfast was perfect, everything there you could think if. Cookies on arrival was gorgeous, nice touch. And blueberry muffins were delicious. No complaints from a very happy customer. My son wanted to take the bed home as it was so comfortable.

I love this hotel, a stones throw from the Thames, for my jet lag buster days in London after a long haul from Australia. I find it quiet and peaceful yet it has all the things I need. A good breakfast in the mornings and a great choice of food in the bar/restaurant after a hard day's slog around the sights of the city. With the Overland Railway just around the corner with it's links to the Underground this is an ideal spot to "get away from the madding crowd" - but not too far. Taxi's pull up a... Read more

Nice hotel in a great spot close to train and easily accessible to the city. Was awoken one night but revellers outside but other than that it was quiet and comfy. Breakfast nice with good selection of hot and cold food.

My friends told me that hotels in Europe are a star level below what they are rated - at least compared to North American standards. I was hoping that this hotel would be different since the reviews have been fairly good, but my friends were right. This hotel was the equivalent of a Holiday Inn in North American standards. It was definitely run-down with the rugs forming bumps and the bathroom being incredibly outdated. The best part of the room was the bed which was incredibly comfortable. That... Read more

We came here to celebrate a very special anniversary. Since the time of our check-in, the young blond lady was very polite and careful. She gave us lots of tips about the city and stuff like that. The room was great and very clean. We requested a room in a higher floor and they gave us. The breakfast was fantastic, the guys from there did a great job! I already recommended your hotel for a couple of friends! Next year we hope to be back and I am sure that I will stay with you once again! Great J... Read more

We arrived here around 1:45pm after a easy pleasant journey from Watford junction where we got out connecting train traveling from Birmingham.. only a 5minute walk not even that from imperial wharf to the hotel, on arrival we got checked in by a lovely lady who gave us both a welcome warm cookie which was a lovely gesture, we couldn't check in till 2pm but we thought we'd ask on the of chance if our room was ready which it was.. we had a triple room, we had to phone down for extra towels as was ... Good hotel for a Business trip. Lacks amenities but good value for money if you don't mind a few changes on the tube from the City. As a diamond honours guest you don't get many of the normal perks but the staff are friendly and the rooms clean and not noisy. Would recommend for an over night stay but not the best if you have family.

Stayed for three nights, rooms a good size - stayed in a family room which had a double bed and a single bed (which wasn't required) so bit tight for the cot but was absolutely fine. All the staff were really pleasant and friendly. Lovely bar area which is reasonably priced and the food is good. We would stay here again!

This hotel is location in a top area in Chelsea, two minute walk to the overhead, across from a large fresh food market and 1 minute walk to a great coffee shop. Lovely helpful staff I felt like family. Its 3-4 minutes walking distance to the water and fine dinning restaurants. Love this place and will return. Great value for the money.

I stayed for 2 nights, complaining on both nights when i arrived in my room. The room was not clean when i arrived, i found dirty underwear on the floor. The coffee had not been replaced. When i came back late on the second night, the bathroom was still not clean. I complained to the management and complained to Hilton about the poor service. I was sent an apology and told to contact them when staying again. Which i did 3 times and only received one response after the dates i had wanted to stay... Read more

I'll come on to my main issue at the end. But as background I know this area well. I lived nearby for 20 years. It used to be an industrial area in Fulham - not sure even now that SW6 is in Chelsea! Like may areas of London along the river the area has undergone a major rebuild and it is now a very pleasant albeit not particularly Central area. Much debate and comment is made about the nearly adjacent station on the OverGround network from Clapham Junction to Willesden Junction and beyond. A c... Read more

Two nights stay whilst working in Chelsea. Check in staff were really good and helpful. The room was very comfortable with nice big Tv :) Bathroom was very clean , shower over the bath was very good nice pressure and option to have a soak in the bath was a nice change as some hotels only have a walk in shower. Breakfast was great and staff kept topping up my orange juice and tea. Great choice of hotel

A good stay, friendly staff, was allocated a room at the front and on the 5th floor. Good size and I had asked for a late check out. Got an hour.... I'm only a gold HHonors member so didn't get an upgrade and didn't receive any complimentary water but did receive a drink voucher and of course breakfast was also free. Didn't use the breakfast voucher though as I knew I'd be in late. There is a Tesco across the road where you can get all bits and bobs. V close to the overground rail network but ot... Read more

Room was mediocre, nothing to praise or complain. However, I had the misfortune to have a room next to a rather loud and selfish family. It would appear there is no soundproofing as they sounded like they were in my room. They woke me up pre 6am both days and one evening I couldn't work as they were ,asking so much noise I couldn't focus. On check out I wasn't asked about my stay and when I complained I was met with a vacant smile and 'oh well'. I'll be asking my company to not book me there ag... Read more

We stayed here when we were unable to travel home after work because of an incident at Euston station. In the circumstances with available and reasonable options limited this seemed the best option. That said we were both pleasantly surprised. The hotel was modern, clean and in a revamped part of Chelsea harbour. Staff were very welcoming and cheery. Our room had two small double beds - one soft mattress, one hard. It was decorated to a good standard and it and the ensuite were very clean. ... Read more

I had a girls weekend away. The hotel staff were really helpful and welcoming, the room were spacious and very clean. The hotel is situated in a really quiet attractive part of Chelsea. Within walking distance to the shops and a two minute walk to the London over ground, with a five minute ride to Westfields. An amazing location which made an amazing weekend.

Although this property isn't in the city center it is easy to reach everywhere you want to go. As long as you don't mind using the overground and changing stations this is the place to be. The staff were great and patient with my child. Breakfast is always a high point at a Doubletree and this stay was no different.
