Very good, no complaints at all. Room was spacious and clean, everything we needed was there. Didnt stop in the room long because we were sightseeing and had a concert on the evening, but for the time we were there everything was great. Nice bar on the ground floor to have a drink before going back to room.

The hotel was conveniently located and well maintained rooms. Also the bar was open and had a wide variety of drinks. The breakfast was very well organized. One minor detail was that I did not have a power socket located at the bedside, so I had to reverse the bed in order to use my CPAP with the power supply on the desk even in a room for disabled persons.

This budget hotel was a convenient location for me. It was my first trip to London and I wanted to visit Westminster Abbey several times. I could walk there easily but there was also a bus just a few blocks away. An underground station was convenient for going further. I was able to easily catch the tube to Waterloo station for the train on departure. While I didn't eat in the neighborhood, there were many restaurants and convenience stores handy. Days (Inn), an American chain hotel, was reliably clean and efficient. But it's a lousy neighborhood--dirty, and run-down, although the police station is nearby. There are convenience stores and cash machines nearby. The Lambeth North tube stop is a block away, and there's a couple of bus lines. It's an easy walk to the London Eye and the South Bank, but I don't know if I'd do it at night. There is street noise, but not noise from hotel neighbors. I had one night at the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. They had all the things I needed and pointed me in the correct direction. Breakfast was fine and I left filled. I would use the hotel again. The room was a little stuffy as there is no aircon and I arrived quite late so I did not have enough time to air the room.

I like to always start a review as positive - so the best part of this hotel is it's location. It is central to London downtown - most things/attractions are walkable. Nice little bakery around the corner for a light, low cost breakfast. Breakfast in hotel was 7 or 9 pounds depending on where you ate. Room size and bathroom size is what is to be expected for Europe - bathrooms newly renovated. Street noise was to be as expected for a downtown city - lots of sirens etc...but still slept ok... This was not my first time staying at this hotel. The location is very convenient.Waterloo station is less then 10 minutes walk. There are different restaurants nearby or if you need something there are local shops. The police station is opposite the hotel, so it could be noisy sometimes but it is definitely safe!

I booked this hotel thinking it was very close to the underground station, unfortunately the station is closed for refurbishment until next year and I was not aware of that information. The nearest station is Waterloo which is a good walk or £5 in a taxi. This is the first time I have stayed on the South Bank and it is not for me, its too far from the main attractions. The reception is crowded and messy with information leaflets and signs and generally in need of a makeover. however the staff w... Read more

We stayed for 2D/1N there are 2 particular receptionist staff that were very accommodating. Nuiget (hope i spelled it right) and Anastasja. They were pleasant to deal with. But there was another receptionist staff on the afternoon/early evening shift that is rude. She should not be on a job that needs charisma and pleasant personality. She's just a pure snob and won't help at all. Rooms are decent and location is very good if not raining as you need to do a 10 minute walk to the waterloo train... Read more

This hotel is great value in an expensive city. Close walking distance to Lambeth North station as well as Waterloo Station and only a 10 minute walk from the London Eye area. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and has a good restaurant for dinner/breakfast. The bathroom in my room was quite tight when opening the shower door but this did not cause any problems for me. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe at this hotel and comfortable walking around myself.

Rooms are small, but my sister & I were able to manage ok, as we weren't here to spend time in room but sight see. So this hotel was a great location for that. Wasn't much closet space, so we didn't unpack but manage out of our suitcases. Hotel has no AC, but there was a fan in room. The bathroom was an odd shape & shower stall was small. The bath towels were large (which I like) but a little on the old side with edges starting to fray & a little rough. Also nice to have a place to eat at hote... Read more

Went down to London and picked Days hotel due to the price and the location. Myself, my wife and my daughter agreed that the location and price were excellent. Very clean and tidy, staff were always around. We were in room 001, great ground floor location, very quiet and the room and bathroom were massive.

A simple, very clean hotel and reasonably priced. The beds were comfy and the blackout curtains meant we slept well. The English breakfast was adequate, if a little tasteless, but better than many I ve had in better hotels. I would certainly recommend it, especially as it has on site parking.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel 4 nights while visiting friends in London. While the hotel was clean, in a good location and we liked the full English breakfast, we would not stay here again because we found the accommodation too small for two people. My husband is 6'2" and found the full bed to be uncomfortable in length and support. The bathroom was too small for two people to use at one time. The shower was extremely small. We had this hotel booked for us through a booking agency for a stag do. As the hotel was only used as a base we were not too bothered how the hotel was going to be. However, we were all pleasantly surprised, the rooms were clean, modern and of a reasonable size, the only downside was that the shower cubicle was a bit on the small side in the bathroom I had, not sure about the others. We are Wyndham Platinum members and if Days Inn London-Waterloo is indicative of the quality of accommodation available through Wyndham Rewards, we would be very wary of utilizing reward points in the future. I stay at the days Inn Waterloo several times a year and I would not stay anywhere else while visiting London. This is based on location and price. It is a 10 minute walk to Waterloo and Westmisnter Bridge and is much better value than hotels deemed to be in the 'West End'. It's comfortable, clean, does breakfast and the staff are courteous.

I booked this hotel on two criteria. first, access to Waterloo, both for national rail and tube access, and two, to address the standard/value-for-money equation. To the adjacent access to Waterloo aspect - FAIL. The tube station closest, Lambeth North, is currently closed, so it's a heck of a hike from Waterloo with luggage. So if your driver is value-for-money, take a cab. To the standard/value-for-money equation - BARELY. There are better value deals to be had if you are of a mind to hunt. ... Read more

The only downside, iffy wifi, we were on the fifth floor ( don't know if that was the reason) and the breakfast was poor value even with the £2.00 discount, on the one morning we had it, things running out on the buffet were taking a long time to be replenished.
