Really lovely comfy bed and well appointed room with lots of towels etc. Service in the bar friendly - excellent attempts to up and cross sell :) Main bug bear was breakfast. Scrambled egg almost certainly from a packet, coffee which despite the promise of Starbucks at the entrance to the breakfast room was most certainly not Starbucks and wait staff who were just not in evidence. Had to get up each time we wanted tea, coffee, or a poached egg (once I'd discovered the scrambled ones were inedib... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights over the bank holiday for our 30th anniversary. Arrived early very quick check-in. Once in the room it was very spacious we were facing a very busy road but heard absolutely nothing. The hotel brought up a bottle of wine up which was s very nice touch. We had access to the club lounge which offered complimentary refreshment at certain times of the day the only drawback was some of the guests just filled the bags up and took full bottles of wine out with them. Beautiful hotel with really good food. Prices quite reasonable. Did think it was a bit remote and did not like surrounding area. The central line was closed part of the way over the weekend for repairs so made it awkward to get into central london on a night time. But that was not the hotels fault. All in all a really good hotel with very helpful staff.

As regular users of Crown Plaza and been IHG members we decided to stay here for a concert at Wembley. The hotel advertises strongly on been a 'Hotel ideal for Wembley' be warned its a good 35 minutes on a bus to Wembley! However stop is just near hotel and the buses run 24 hours. The hotel itself is nice on a very busy main road and this can be heard in the room even in the executive rooms. Stayed here in two rooms ahead of the Bruce Springsteen concert. This is a really nice hotel, big rooms and well presented. High quality throughout the rooms, lobby, restaurant and bar. Is a fair distance from Wembley but even with the taxi fares you get a much better quality hotel for less than the on site hotels at the stadium. The problem we had was faulty air con in one of our rooms which despite two visits from staff could not be fixed on what was a warm Sunday night in June. As the hotel was... Read more

Well located just off the A406 and A40 and on the underground network - neat, clean and quiet property inspite of being right next to a busy intersection. Wembley stadium is easily reachable by train, bus, taxi or even walk able. Good variety of food on offer in the restaurant and ample parking around. Only wish it had a swimming pool to complement the health club facilities.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza for an event at Wembley, about 3 miles away. The hotel was friendly, clean and well-equipped. We would definitely be happy to stay here again. Rooms are not huge so not the biggest bed, but it was comfortable. All the facilities you would hope for, including robes and slippers and ice machines in the hall. Also an executive lounge but we didn't get time to visit.

The hotel is fine, nothing wrong with hygene or something mayor. It is along a very busy way so not a pretty site to see, but it doesn't boder inside. The thing i would have liked is a service toward a venue in Wembley stadium. we visited a simular hotel in amsterdam for a venue in the arena there and the hotel provided with a shuttle service toward the concert and coming back from the concert, this was very useful. The best aspect of the hotel is the staff and my thanks go out to all of them: Reception staff - Federica, Simone, etc are all exceptionally friendly and helpful and no ask it too great. Similarly in the restaurant, Pedro, Susan, Rachel, et al. are all amazing and fall over themselves to ensure you have the very best experience. The building and facilities are as you'd expect but the staff are just not interested. The check in experience left me wanting to go and play with traffic. They are incompetent and arrogant to the end. Sadly I stay here from time to time with work and will be posting about every bad experience I have, I'm sure there will be more.

We enjoyed our stay at Crowne Plaza. Can be a bit tricky if you are driving, to find the entrance. We arrived at night after a long drive and missed the driveway in so had to find our way back which took awhile with traffic and rain..and nearly missed it again! Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. We ate in the restaurant at the hotel as the food was great and service was vey good and welcoming. Hotel is also fairly close and in walking distance to the high street and large shoppi... Read more

Stayed here for two nights so we could go to the NFL game at Wembley, which is a 2.5mile walk. Is also a few stops from a massive shopping mall - Westfield. Breakfast was included in the rate we obtained and it was a good variety - cereal, build your own muesli, hot food, great selection of fresh fruit, pastries and they make omelettes to order. Room was very comfortable, couldn't hear anyone else in the hotel or outside. Bathroom was excellent. Room had a safe and a fridge. Wifi was a good stre... Read more

Terrific location. Stayed 4 nights. Price way below London City prices. Was there to attend event at Wembley Stadium... the hotel's access to transportation is the clincher that makes this place perfect for a London trip. The London Subway is right across the street. Less than 30 minutes to Oxford Circus, Westminster, etc. There is a major bus stop 1 minute north of the hotel, and a bus to Wembley was 30 minutes with no transfers. London Tube runs the last trains between 12-1am, but the Night Tu... Read more

This is a modern, high-class hotel at a budget price...purely because it's all the way out in Ealing. Having said that, it's very easy to get to - just down the central line to Hangar Lane. It has everything you'd expect from a Crowne Plaza hotel. What else can I say? I only life half an hour away from home but whenever I want to treat myself to a night out in London, it's too tempting to stay over at CP Ealing rather than spend 30 mins on a late train home.

This hotel is great value for the price. I guess because of its location away from central London. It also overlooks a busy road and roundabout. Having said that, it is right next to Hanger Lane tube station with direct trains to Oxford and St Pauls and the A40/North Circular for easy road access. The hotel is very comfortable. The beds are very nice and I slept well. Food, both from room service and in the hotel restaurant was very good. I found the staff to be very friendly.

Checked in, good staff Upgraded to club lounge and room The room was quite small be perfectly fine Told club lounge canapés snd snacks served at 6 pm to 7 30 Happy I did not have to pay for it Small pieces of stale bread topped with a choice of egg Cocktail sauce or very small tomato A disgrace ! Why do they bother? Compare this to gatwick, Amsterdam , Aberdeen Can't be the same chain Really let the place down I went to the bar, complained, offered a packet of crisps as an apology... This is a great hotel and staff are friendly and helpful. Wine at the bar is expensive but maybe that's because of London prices (we live in South wales) Unfortunately, the policy in respect of charges needs reviewing. When we booked in we were asked to supply a credit card, which I happily did - at the suggestion of the staff, an amount of £50 was apparently debited with the reassurance that nothing more than the amount owed would actually leave my account. Due to expensive bar prices and car ... Read more

Arrived after a long day travelling, checked in and headed to my room to discover it hadn't been cleaned properly - in fact the toilet was unflushed from the last guest! Changed rooms - thought all was good until ran the tap - sink didn't drain so took plug out to discover it caked with the hair of many guests - disgusting.

Stayed one night while visiting Wembley for a rugby international. We paid extra for a Club Room which was well appointed, quiet and gave access to the Club Lounge. This in turn gave us the option of a complimentary light breakfast. Well worth the extra. Parked relatively easily (£13.50 per night.) Reception helpfully arranged an early check-in to allow us to get to the match. Pleasant staff, Hangar Lane tube station is 2 minutes away and gives direct access to Oxford Street and central London.... Read more

We came to this hotel as its under 3 miles from Wembley and yes you can see the stadium out of your window ? it was booked on a hotel website but price dosnt include breakfast. The hotel is extremley clean and also slightly posh. Its a 4* hotel. We stayed in the bar a few hours after arriving just to kill a bit of time but drinks are really expensive. Its out of Central London so not congested with people but opposite a large main road. We will stop hear again when we come to London again as i... Read more

This hotel was chosen as it was so handy for the underground (Hanger Lane and Park Royal right next door), easy reach of Heathrow and easy walking to Wembley with the wonderful and Famous Ace Cafe to break the walk. We expected the usual sterile chain hotel experience, but were happily surprised on three counts. Firstly the warmth and professionalism of the staff, both the receptionists and the bar staff...for it has an excellent bar restaurant in the basement. The second was the cleanliness...... Read more

Clean rooms, fabulous staff and conveniently located. The rooms were super comfortable and, if you're lucky, you get a good view of Wembley Stadium. The restaurant staff give all guests the personal touch seeing to your every need. I chose to stay there with family who had flown in from abroad because the hotel is located across the road from Hanger Lane Tube. Handy for people who can't manage to walk long distances. I've also stayed there for business in the past. Conveniently located on ... Read more

Stayed here with a friend when we went to a venue at Wembley arena. Highly recommend as the hotel is much cheeper than hotels which are right outside Wembley. Only a short distance from where we needed to go. Room was amazing and customer service was fantastic and welcoming. Breakfast in the morning is absolutely perfect. Good quality food and lovely options to choose from. Only issue I would say is that the bar / restraunt is very expensive.

Very good comfortable room, very quiet despite the position. Good bathroom and comfortable bed. The food provided for our tour was good and varied. This would have been 5* if it had not been for service. Staff were charming and friendly but 1. On first morning despite asking three members of staff for coffee, I left without any. 2. We specifically asked that our room was not serviced - but it was! However our night clothes were left in a heap on the bedside table, presumably so that the pillows ... Read more

Hotel is clean and the twin room we'd booked was bright and quite spacious with comfortable beds as you'd expect, everything we needed for an overnight stay. Friendly staff at check in. We didn't have breakfast. I'd arrived by tube at Hanger Lane, the trip through the subway needed to get across the busy junction was an unpleasant experience thanks to the people hanging around, getting to the hotel and venturing to and from the hotel at night on foot didn't fill me with confidence and I'm pretty... Stayed for two nights, comfortable hotel, friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms. Hotel is located next to Underground station and accessed through a not too inviting underpass. The location is a half an hour tube ride from Central London attractions, service is regular, but the distance for the centre may be an issue. I chose the executive lounge option as I needed to be out of hotel before breakfast began. The lounge is small with some of the most uncomfortable seats imaginable, the experien... Read more

The hotel is right by a tube station, which is good. But it is a out 30 minutes it picadilly and that station by the hotel does not operate 24/7. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had everything needed, and breakfast was good. The room was nice to, but views were not there. Parking is tight as well.

This hotel is a little bit far out of the city at about an hour using public transport, if you want to make the most of your time sightseeing then I would suggest booking somewhere a little closer. The hotel is situated close to a tube station but the surrounding area is quite dilapidated. The hotel itself is very nice, the staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast food was very nice. Would recommend as somewhere to spend a night if you were on business.
