Nice and clean hotel. The staff is friendly, councierge helpful. The rooms and the bathroom have a great size and it´s very clean. You are opposite of the entry of carnaby street and you have a 5 min. walk to piccadilly cirques, 2 min. to the next underground station, and a few min. to Oxford and Regant Street. It´s great there. In the heart of London .... They have a really cool bar at the hotel with good cocktails ... i can recomand this hotel it has a very good quality for a good price. The... Read more

Really enjoyed our trip to this old court house. It's not the Ritz or Savoy and we didn't expect it to be. The sandwiches (actually they were rolls) were tasty and fresh, the cakes and scones plentiful and delicious and the tea 'on tap'. Found the staff pleasant, attentive and helpful. Would definitely visit again.

Where to start??? Poor service. No one offered to help with our bags. Had to change rooms as they didn't put us in a smoking room as requested. Smoking room had no ashtray. Room had no bed side lamp. Stone cold breakfast. No availability in the spa. Complained the manager said they would refund a small amount of money then didn't. Location was perfect but not worth the money.

The website pictures led us to expect something quite different. In fact what we received was okay but no more. The ambiance was more a tea room than a 5 star hotel. Food was good as was the champagne. This was a celebration event and although we did not let it ruin our day it did not add to it as we hoped.

We arrived early to the hotel expecting that our room would not be ready until 2 o'clock but, we were able to check in and go up to our room on arrival The room was beautifully clean with lots of great little extras. We both enjoyed the big television. The location of the hotel was wonderful and central and the best part is, when it came to sleeping, you would not of known that the hotel was in the middle of Central London - best night ever in a London hotel. This was a birthday treat from our son and daughter in law for my wife. The arranged for afternoon tea with champagne. We were booked in for 3 pm and arrived early which wasn't a problem for the hotel, we were shown into the room and seated. The hotel is impressive and a famous courthouse which has dealt with many high profile cases in years gone by there are many pictures of these cases inside, location is opposite Carnaby Street. Stayed here over the bank holiday weekend so for mine and my partners birthday. Is a great central location close to Oxford street, Soho and Leicester square. We arrived on time and I have to say the reception staff were far from enthusiastic but we eventually got our room after having to wait in the bar. The rooms were nice but ours could certainly of done with some simple maintenance (shower leaked, toilet leaked, window rattled). On the whole Though a nice room and well equipped with what you... Had a one night break here last Saturday as we had been bought a voucher for the Asian Fusion restaurant SILK which is in the Courthouse Hotel. The meal was fantastic please see separate review. The hotel however was just "Adequate to be honest. For a one night stay we paid nearly £400. The room was newly refurbished, and I was asked by the front desk clerk and also the cleaner whether the room met my expectations. Both women seemed very concerned that I liked the room. The only 5 star about this hotel is the location and price. We had 2 rooms for 4 nights and both rooms had maintenance problems. Lights in bathrooms did not work, outlets were hanging on the walls! Shower glass allowed the water to soak the bathroom, and the lobby furniture is broken. The check in staff was very kind by letting us check in very early after a long international flight, which was very very nice of them. However, the room left much to be desired. There were parts of the walls that had bare drywall with no joint compound around the edges; completely in the middle of construction or left undone! In other spots the paint was peeling and hanging from the walls and ceiling. The carpet used to be cream color but it was nearly black with wear. Excellent location but th... Read more

At the top of Carnaby Street, this hotel is great for shopping and sightseeing. Don't expect 5* service or indeed rooms. The hotel is in need of an upgrade. If your room is next to the lift it can be noisy. The staff are friendly but slow and requests are sometimes ignored. The roof terrace is great on hot summer nights but can get crowded and you definitely don't want the room next to it as its noisy.

A colleague said "a park bench would be more comfortable than the beds here" The concierge staff. They speak down to people and make them feel as if they are doing you a favour by talking AT you. For the money there are far better hotels.

A very average stay, every body was polite enough but not a 5 star and so I feel a bit cheated. On a good note the bed was super comfy! so if your just looking for a bed for the night in the centre of everything then it's a great choice. If your looking for a 5 star experience then this is not it.

Fantastic location just opposite Liberty. Nice rooms - go high for quietness. 5* but would say more like a 4* hotel. Was once a courthouse and there are still plenty of original features - which makes it a little bit different.
