We found this to be ideally located, near to the train and coach station. The staff are very friendly, polite and helpful. They managed to provide a sewing kit, saving the day for us. The room was on the lower floor and was clean and tidy. It was a little noisy due to a fairy elephant upstairs but a minor issue. I would have no problem booking and staying here again.

I have never stayed at a Choice Hotel that was so poor! We were given a room that had the bathroom window open and was stuck with a broken lock on a bottom floor. When we checked about changing to another room we were told we were safe, and no other room was available. I did manage to get the window shut but couldn't lock it. The maintenance was not kept up nor was it as clean as it should be. Mold was on the tiles in the bathroom and the shower door was off the track.

Tiny room with a minimum set of furniture: chair, table, rack on the wall. Nevertheless, we note a very friendly staff and a very decent breakfast. For the money that you pay for the night in this old/need of repair hotel you can find something nicer. AC not working ..   Or take a similar hotel (** or ***) a lot cheaper. This hotel not for long stay....

Stayed here with my boyfriend for 3 nights in August last year. The location is by far the main attraction with this hotel. Just a few minutes walk from Buckingham Palace and just up the street from Victoria Station. The rooms are very small and we were staying in what they call the 'annex' down the street from the main part of the hotel. We were not made aware of this until check in. This building had no lifts, so we had to walk up several flights of stairs each time and we were (of course!) on... Read more

this hotel ion a great location only a couple of minutes walk from Victoria station. Reception area very homely and staff very helpful and pleasant, we got to hotel too early to check in but they did try to see if a room was available for us. There was a secure room for us to leave our bags in so was not a problem. Our room comfy, clean with tea and coffee making facility's, hair dryer and a safe, a bit on the small side but we only stayed for one night. Breakfast from 7-10 and a good selection ... Read more

Pros: really close to the Victoria Train Station - about 5 minutes dragging luggage, especially if you're talking Gatwick Express from the airport. Also close to the Buckingham Palace and Westminster Cathedral and Abbey. Also close to the coach and tube stations. Emanuel at the front desk when we checked in was pretty nice and helpful. Fairly quiet by city standard. Cons: really small room. We had a queen bed and a twin and pretty much not much space for other things. Instant coffee onl... Read more

By me, june 21, 2016 The hotel was very clean and in perfect location regarding the distance to the city center and the victroria station. However some of the rooms (maybe the majority of them) are located under the level of the road (basement like) and with only one window towards a tiny and filthy internal courtyard. This gives a stong negative effect when you arrive. Secondly wifi signal could not reach my room (room 102) something that made me mad as i would like to research about sighseeing... Read more

Nice hotel in a great location in London for the price. Just a 5 min walk to a major subway stop that makes it very convenient. The rooms were very clean and the breakfast was very nice. The staff was very helpful with any questions that we had. Also, great little coffee shop right next door

Good Hotel, very convenient and very near to Victoria station. Our room wasn't huge and could possibly do with a bit of a touch-up but for the value of money for London rates and the location, I cannot complain. Breakfast is self-service, just basic but it is included. The staff was, friendly and professional. I would most likely stay there again as we usually travel to Victoria Coach station as it is conveniently close to walking from the station to the hotel.

As I realised that London hotels are mostly expensive, I found an online deal at this hotel with a very good £ value for my stay before flight bound to Indonesia as I use Gatwick express through Victoria. This hotel is within walking distance of Victoria station, both rail and coach. Rooms are small and building is old. Helpful staff but very limited facility. We changed our room because for a 7 day stay the room was just not workable. Bathroom was more than tiny. First the good: The location was excellent as it was only about 2 blocks from the Victoria rail & tube station. (The station also had a mall attached with some eating places and a grocery store.) The hotel had an average breakfast included. The beds were OK. Now the bad: The most glaring deficiency was the condition of the windows. They looked like they had not been cleaned in at least a year. There was at least 1/16 inch of dirt on the window frames. Also, the curtains were disgusting... Read more

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, very good breakfast, and great wifi, but the facility is not being kept up. Beds were the worst hotel beds we have ever slept in, carpet is old, bathroom faucet dripped, and mold was in the shower and on bathroom ceiling. Best thing going for this Comfort Inn is the location, staff and breakfast. Not the typical Comfort Inn quality facility we expected.

Very close to Victoria Station. Clean rooms. I booked a double and ended up with a triple. Room and bathroom was large. Very clean. 3 major great assets : - location (5 mins from Victoria Station) - rooms are tiny but up to date - value for money (considering the London effect, the location and New Year's eve prices, around 150$/single room with bath IN the room) 1 major downside : - The in-room noise and especially vibrations from train and/or tube traffic is incredibly high. trust me. Booked for 1 night with family. Check in was pleasant. Rooms were adequate but the bathroom smelt badly of damp and in the room also. Facilities in the room were fine. Mattresses need upgrading as really not comfortable. Very close to train lines so lots of noise from trains. Not ideal! The whole trip marred by building works that started by 9.00am. Drilling and banging in the side of our room. Visible bodies climbing up scaffolding past our bathroom window! Blind quite see through and toilet o... Read more

If you have the luck to be in the opposite side of the road, you could have a calm night. Other features are good: location (underground station gives you a quick access to the centre of London), cleanliness, breakfast, reception's kindness.

Very well located right next to Victoria Station and a 2 min walk from Victoria Street. Breakfast was OK as well. Now for the bedrooms: lousy, in desperate need of a makeover. I was unlucky enough to get a basement room - BASEMENT! - where I didn't even have the right to sunlight or cell reception. Overall wouldn't come back if I had a choice.

Rooms are very Basic and small. Staff were pleasant during check in. Great location for Victoria train station and if going to see Wicked in Apollo Theatre would be great as only a five minute walk. During our stay water works on street started outside our room from two am till 7am. It had felt as if the work was carried out in our room. When we complained next morning on check out receptionist seemed like they didnt want to hear our complaint!!!

This boutique style hotel is nice and close to the underground station and only a couple off stops away from the Brixton Academy which is where we were headed. Nice welcoming decor in reception with cool black and white 60's iconic photographs. The room itself was fairly well equipped but having stayed in a lot of premier inns lately I found the matresses and beds to be of poorly quality. The loo handle was close to broken which is obviously a little disconcerting! The breakfast was pleasant ... Read more

The situation is great, you have Victoria Station 2 minutes far. The room was clean. We were 2 adults and 2 children and all of us were very happy. The breakfast is also good. the only problem we had in all days was that one evening when we arrived at the room the door was opened because the cleaner didn´t close it. No noise we can sleep well. I think is a perfect place if you go with children.

Arrived very late in the evening and there was room was freezing. There was no heat either via the air conditioner or radiators. This made my night sleep very uncomfortable. Hotel is very well situated but taking conditions into account, not worth the value that is charged per night.

The hotel staff is very polite, cooperative and friendly. They allowed me to keep my luggage even after I checked out. I could get a train or bus(VICTORIA STATION) to any part of London from where the hotel is located. There were many shops, eating places around the hotel, quite convenient.

Room was clean and the value for good location close to Victoria station. Breakfast - toast and cereal only (plus drinks), and toast machine burns one side while not toasting the other. Also as a solo traveller, part eaten breakfast cleared whilst going up for a second drink.
