Nice hotel. Close to museums and underground station. No bar though which would've been nice on an evening. Staff were ok (just doing their job). Bathroom very small with very little room to use the loo which wasn't possible without being up against a very cold tiled wall!!!

well what can I say. The room was nothing like what was pictured upon booking. hair all over the pillow and bathroom covered in sealant. complained to reception who I must say were very rude !!!! was handed another key for another room which was already occupied... what a joke!!! was handed another key for a 'deluxe' room I think the owner needs to look at the word deluxe and figure out what this actually means. complained again asked to speak to the manager was told he wasn't there and then to... Hotel seems not too bad, although you have to pay to use the internet - that hardly work in your room, only in the lob, but my room was infested with bed bugs. I reported this to the management, but they downplayed it ('might have been a musquito'). Well, it wasn't. My arms and face are covered in itchy red spots. The management will leave the situation as it is, so that other guests are the victim and the problem is spread. Shame on them!!

We stayed at this hotel as a base for a New Years Eve trip, the hotel is located in a good place and not too far away from the tube station, the hotel is clean and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We had a double room for the night which was located in the basement which unfortunately come with a view of a brick wall out of the window but didn't bother us too much as we didn't spend much time in the room. The room had decent facilities with a kettle, hairdryer and tv the bathroom was small... Read more

Booked between Christmas and new year as a mini break. I read some of the mixed reviews on here but due to the low cost and location I decided to go for it anyway. Im glad I did, as there's nothing wrong the place. I had a single room which although on the small side was clean and noise free. The en suite was modern and clean with plenty of hot water. It was fine temperature wise, with a large window that opened if needed. The staff were efficient enough and friendly. There cant be many places a... Read more

I stayed at the Ambassadors hotel for 3 nights in November. Having read tripadvisor reviews about the hotel I was prepared for a small room and a relatively poor manager at reception. The staff were better than expected but the room managed to come below expectations nevertheless. The rooms were indeed small but so small that in a double room I had no room at all to open my suitcase except on the bed itself. The room was clean and I think the cleaning staff do a good job. However it was very ... Read more

I booked this hotel some time ago as a surprise for my daughters birthday. The whole family were due to go but on seeing numerous, poor recent reviews I wasn't taking a chance on a bad hotel and wasn't prepared to disappoint my daughter so cancelled the day before arrival. It didn't stop the hotel taking my money! A word to the wise here, check the T's & C's and the reviews. This hotel dropped dramatically over the last 6 weeks.

We booked this hotel due to it's location and the promise of free on-site parking, also it seemed quite a bargain compared to prices of other hotels nearby. It is indeed well located, close to an underground station and within a pleasant walk of many tourist attractions. There is no on-site parking. If you are lucky enough to find a space, there is free street parking available after 1,30pm on a Saturday and all day Sunday - the rest of the week it is permit parking only. We booked a double room... Read more

I spent 3 nights in this hotel last week. It has a very good location, in one of the most expensive areas in LOndon (Chelsea) and considering this it is quite cheap. I was in a triple en-suite room that was not too small and very tidy and clean, even if the forniture was old. The bathroom was clean, too. But there were some mosquitos and no windows. Breakfast was served in a large room near the reception. It was a continental breakfast (unfortunately, there was no bacon, but only banglers). Wi-f... Read more

Booked 2 rooms. Both were up in the eaves. Ours smelled dreadfully of paint or cleaning fluid and as we were then on our way out I asked the receptionist to sort us out another room before we returned. On our return nothing had been done and they offered to change the room the next day. Not much good as only there one night & there was no way I could stay with the awful smell. We were eventually given a room in the basement which, while still not good was an improvement on the attic one. Everyth... Read more
