Be warned: Extremely tiny rooms, if you're traveling with a very large suitcase, you'll find yourself shifting your luggage around when trying to get in or out of your room. Great front desk staff - super helpful, always going extra mile, definitely more like a 5* hotel service.

Clean room, close to public transport but hell was it small! The receptionist described the hotel rooms as "compact". It was as wide as the bed was long - or just over 6ft and about 9ft long. Access to the bed was only possible by half of one side - and the other 3 sides being against walls. Forget trying to swing a cat, you'd be lucky to swing a gerbil!

Booked in hesitation after reading some reviews but still went ahead to try it out as not everyone as the same experience, The hotel is RIGHT next to Lambeth North Tube and local bus stops. There is a Tesco and Costcutter supermarket all within a 2 minute walk with a Costa Coffee linked in the hotel. I booked a basic room without a window or add ons but I ended up being allocated a room with a window plus ALL of the add ons some how which would have costed at least an extra £15-£20 at booki... I had no great expectations so therefore was not to disappointed. Location was where we wanted to be to start out Trafalgar Tour very early. The lass at reception was pleasant not her fault there is a charge to leave your bags if you arrive before 1500. Room was very clean but tiny. Nowhere to put suitcases. Bed against the wall. Double glazing worked well except for ambulance and police sirens.

Here you get the bare essentsials for your stay in London. Good for saving money on your trip. The ryanair equivalent for hotels. You have to pay extra for TV, hairdryer, towels and soap. Very nice and helpful staff. If you choose the windowless basement you can hear the rumbling of the underground lull you to sleep.

Excellent in every way. Small rooms but of a high standard. Friendly helpful professional staff. The add ons were not over priced . A coffee shop next door. A 24hr convenience store and atm across the road. And a tube station. All a ten minute stroll from the London Eye. Will definitely be staying again. Couldn't fault it for the central location, price and convenience .

I wrote a review about Tune hotel canary wharf when I stayed there earlier in the year, summary of that review was very poor. However this Tune hotel in Westminister actually beat the canary wharf in being poor. It's not in my character to write bad reviews but I have been to several cities and several hotels and I gotta say, management of Tune hotels, you need to take another look at your operating model. 1. The hotels don't come cheap, so you can't even pass them off as budget 2. I literally... Read more

I've stayed in Tune hotels in a number of different countries and they are my preferred choice for business stays in London. A windowless room is ideal for a business trip. Then i chose to try the Tune Hotel in Westminster. What a mistake. Room is pretty standard for tune hotels. Then i arrived home one day and as always checked my door before opening it. I was shocked to find the door unlocked. When i looked in the bed was freshly made. The cleaner had left the door unlocked. I complained to re... Read more

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights. To summarise, the stay was basic and had all the essentials. It was clean and serviced every day to good standard. Yes, it is small (as many reviews have pointed out) but that's the whole idea about Tunes. Our stay was simply for rest as we toured much of the day. I would also add that Tunes charge for toiletries, towels, wifi etc which is their business model and ultimately keeps the price down, so it's quite disappointing to see reviewers marking Tunes ... The rooms are small and bathrooms even smaller but you get what you pay for. I emailed before hand to request a room high up so we had a view which is definitely worth doing. Staff were very helpful and rooms were a pleasant temperature at night. The location was perfect for us and couldn't have been better. I am in-between homes and so all I needed was a fuss free and simple booking of a room with necessities. Despite the fact that the lift was broken, that doesn't reflect on the hotel as it can normally be, so I stand by 4 stars. It simply doesn't get a 5th as the aircon was not as cool as it could have been in such a small room. We stayed for two nights, and this was plenty. We knew we had booked a small room but we were not prepared for just how small it would be. My boyfriend and I were stepping over each other the whole time. The bed was alright, not the comfiest but we still managed a decent sleep each night. The bathroom was incredibly small, we had to lean over the toilet to reach the sink and if I had been any taller, my legs would have stuck out the door when I was sat on the toilet. Luckily the hotel was in a... Read more

Good inexpensive hotel. It is right across the road from Lambeth North tube station which gives it easy access to all of London. There is a lot of traffic noise but not noticeable if the window is closed. It does have a/c so not a problem. Be prepared to pay extra for toiletries, tv, room safe but since i booked through an agent they were included. Rooms are very small more like a uni dorm but quite adequate.

Make sure you really like your travel companion if you stay here. True, there is not enough room to "swing a kitten," but we didn't bring her with us. The location and price were most important to us. We have NEVER stayed in such a tiny room, even our cheapest cruise ship room was much larger than this. But it is OK as long as you know that going into it. Expectations is what it is all about. The A/C lacked a lot to be desired. We were there in August, so it was extra hot. But it was w... Read more

Firstly, I should caveat that I have been accused before (by work colleagues) of being a hotel snob - so please take this review in that context... First - the good; staff were nice and welcoming, and the place was relatively clean (chipped paint on the window sill and some patched wallpaper, but not at all bad). Then the less good - no breakfast, only a vending machine where I could (if desperate) buy a coffee and a bag of crisps. Room so tiny that I felt a little claustrophobic (yes I know ... Read more

We booked two rooms, both tiny, but one smaller than the other. Exceptionally clean however. These rooms are OK for one or two nights but no more. Definitely not suitable for children, You will need to bring your towel as the one they give you is used to stop the water from the shower pouring into your room! The shower/toilet door is see-through and there is a big gap on the hinge side right where the toilet is. TIP: take an elastic band so you can secure the shower curtain across the door on... The hotel was nice and clean, can't fault it apart from the size of the rooms, but you get what you pay for and for the price it was really good, nice and central so 10 minute walks to the dungeons, sea life centre and London eye, about half hour walk to Buckingham, great stay for a long weekend.

This hotel is excellent for location, couldn't be any nearer to the center of London. The rooms are spotlessly clean we had a basement room no window, but aircon which was good. We had a Telly, towels toiletries, and a hairdryer in our deal but not all deals have these things in the room and you have to pay extra for the privalage. I agree with other reviews the rooms are redicoulously small but as I said spotlessly clean and good location. I would definitely stay again.

Literally a bed with walls around it. Nothing else besides a tiny bathroom. it was clean, and there was a bed and a shower, so actually all you need, but soooo expensive for such a small room without breakfast in not such a nice street. the people at the reception were friendly.

Small, very clean room, very comfy bed. Tiny but powerful shower. Good wifi. Friendly staff. Not one for a long stay but overnight? Fine. Was in room 210 a corner room with two windows. My room was called a double. You'd need to be pretty skinny for that to work.

Stayed here with friends for a long weekend. Good location with underground, bus and rail, pubs and restaurants all close by. You can get breakfast in Costa under the hotel. Friendly staff ,rooms have all the facilities but are very very small. Imperial War Museum, London Eye and South Bank, Westminster and Big Ben etc all within walking distance of 5 - 15 minutes. Great for a long weekend on a budget.

Tune Hotel Westminster (five minutes walk from Waterloo Stration on the south side of the Thames, is handy for central London, the National Theatre and Bankside. Tune Hotels offer compact rooms, with a double bed and shower /WC. We were there for three nights. The rooms are rather like a large cabin on a cross-channel ferry, but with a good double bed rather than bunks and no thudding engine noise. Probably not great if you have a lot of luggage. If you just want a clean central and reasonably... Read more

Nice Frontage, friendly staff and comfortable room, if a tad small, room 102 was the room. No breakfast and be aware that you might be asked to pay out for items in the room. Good hotel close to Waterloo. Maybe not a good place to spend a long time but a night is good

First arrival was very good. Polite staff etc. However this was quickly ruined upon my return to check in later. Apart from having to pay for every little extra on top of what I would say was overpriced for a room 6ftX6ft, The evening staff were rude. Unhelpful and incompetent. The drinks machine didn't work and they couldn't fix it or give my money back ! I paid for two lots of towels extra which I was told were in the room , only to find that upon getting out of the shower soaking wet there wa... Read more

Have stayed in this Tune hotel several times and each time has gone smoothly. Check in can be a bit cramped during busier times as the reception is quite small but that's not really a concern. The rooms are definitely small with very little storage space for luggage and no space to walk around but are perfect for a short stay. The bathrooms are also very small but have everything needed. The rooms have always been very clean and that is always my biggest concern when choosing a hotel and that's... Read more

We stayed at the tune hotel for three nights and we were quite pleased with our stay. It was a fantastic location for sightseeing. Places like big ben and London eye were just ten minutes away walking. Good location for getting buses to places that you want to go. Make sure you get an oster card as you cannot pay change to get on buses but you can pay with cards that have contactless. The staff at reception were lovely and very helpful as we asked alot of questions because it was our first t... Read more

Good value for money hotel close to Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Station. 24hour supermarket over the road and costa next door for breakfast and/or snacks. Room was perfectly clean and very modern. Not on the big side but perfect for just sleeping in. Tv in room and wifi in hotel. All extras are worth it and we somehow got them for free which was a real bonus, they included towels, wifi, tv, hairdryer. Luggage room is available for £2.50 for all day. Would definitely stay again.

This hotel has very small rooms but the price is small too. The location just 10 mins from Waterloo station is great for a stop over. The staff were very knowledgable and helpful. The rooms although small were very clean and had some modern touches such as moody lighting which was fun. Would recommend this hotel for a couple of nights

We regularly stay at Tune hotels and we felt this one was poor. The bathrooms need some work and the mattress was awful. You don't stay at a Tune hotel for luxury, but in our opinion this hotel was bordering on the basic standards.

It was our second time staying here, and as before, it was just great. Ok, the room is small, everyone is saying that, but how much do you plan to stay in the room? In our case, was just for resting, the bed is really comfy and the room and bathroom were clean, good hot shower at the end of day. Also, the reception people are just great, always on top of everything, making sure all our requests were always answered. Huge thanks to all: Inma, Joanna, Sadan, Suhel, and everyone else. Excellent location for sights of London, The Old Viv and The New Viv Theatres, shopping, the Thames, and so much more. Costa Coffee downstairs (open daily 06:00 - 21:00), Tesco Express literally around the corner, and just a short walk from Waterloo station. Staff are wonderfully communicative, friendly and helpful; rooms are immaculate and clean; wheelchair and disability friendly. The only downside was the lack of in-bedroom complimentary items such as a kettle, toiletries.

For an overnight head on the bed, very good. Basic small room, double bed, on suite shower & toilet and clean. Friendly staff, only contact with staff is on arrival and on leaving. No food or bar, read the hotel information (all the information on their web site) If you want a proper breakfast visit a cafe.

As a one night stopover this hits the spot. Tiny rooms with even tinier showers, absolutely charming staff, properly friendly, pleasant and go-the-extra-mile helpful, and central to many places - it was 300 yards from my venue for the evening and a hop and skip from Big Ben, Lambeth, Waterloo Railway station, and all points nearby. It is a bit shabby, doesn't smell great (but not offensive just a bit stale), and there is no restaurant but the Costa right next door does breakfast which can be inc... Read more
