Room was clean albeit extremely small. Reminded me of my college dorm room but has decent facilities. The hot water in the shower was a lifesaver however the shower space is tiny and rather claustrophobic. Good value for money and location was great. When you arrive, I recommend getting off at Edgware Road station, not Paddington as it's closer and you don't have to pull your luggage through cobblestone roads.

This was my second stay at this/any Tune hotel and I spent the entire week pondering how to rate it on TA. After my first stay I‚??m sure I raved about it and, in fact, nothing has changed about the hotel. But the more important fact is that the hotel industry has changed a lot in the last four years and there are now other options in the same hotel genre (which I call minimalist fluffy white modern) that offer better accommodations at the same price level. (Marriott, Accor and Best Western are... Read more

We decided to stop at the Tune hotel in Paddington during a recent stop over in London to see a gig at the Olympic stadium. Although been a bit of a treck to the stadium from the hotel the affordable price of the hotel made it feel not as bad, plus it was our fault for not researching on location better. The room was cosy and comfortable, had a really good nights sleep. The room wasn‚??t large and a bit on the small side but I liked that. Bathroom had all you needed and was super clean, couldn‚... I've stayed at Tune Hotel Paddington before. I chose this for its location. A few minutes to Paddington and from there you can get the Heathrow Express to the airport in 15 minutes. The staff were friendly, the room was clean. Not much room if you had a suitcase, but I knew this before going. The bed was comfortable and the water in the shower was perfectly hot. It was quite warm when I went over this time, so the air conditioning was a blessing. My room was facing Praed St, but there wasn't muc... Read more

Well, what can I write about the Tune, Paddington. It is what it says on the website so it's hard to pin down exactly why this place is so crap, I lay in my room wondering what to put here as I listened to the Ambulances rushing to and from the busy A&E department across the road, interspersed with the Circle line rumbling underneath. I do try to be positive in my reviews where I can so It's fair to say the shower was got and reasonably powerful, the staff were friendly and the place was clean. ... Read more

It's convenient being next to so many accessible bus stops that can get you wherever you need to go easily. There are a handful of good food options along the street. My wife and I thought the room had a cozy feel and was clean. Valeria Alessia and the other people at the front desk were very helpful and frequently greeted the tenants with a cheerful hello or goodbye as they came and left. Only issue is that the doors and walls of the room did not block out the surrounding noise very well co... Read more

Traveling as a single person, was placed into a room that was oddly located halfway between the main floors. Even taking the elevators, no way around carrying luggage up/down a half level of stairs. Bath sink/shower drained very slowly. Towels, room service, Internet, everything is extra. This is ok, just would have been nice to know upfront. Having said all this, I only used the room to sleep. It fulfilled the need, just watch for the caveats.

For under £100 a night (on a booking website), this place represents excellent value for money. Staff are charming and approachable; the room itself was small but clean and comfortable. I'm not sure how the pricing works (appears to be a RyanAir-style approach where you pay for TV, wifi and so on) but our deal included everything you'd expect. Would stay again, without hesitation.

Booked in here for a single night stay. It is an easy location to find in between Paddington and Edware Road tube stations. It was very reasonably priced for such a central location. The hotel was friendly and welcoming and very clean. My room was a good size, as usually as a single person traveler I get put into tiny central London hotel rooms. My husband and I recently stayed at the Tune hotel in Paddington. As we had previously lived in London we knew the location would be the main reason we stayed at the hotel. Serviced by two tube stops (Edgeware Rd and Paddinton) and four tube lines (District, Circle, Bakerloo and Hammersmith and City). We were fortunate enough to pay on frequent flyer points also so this help with our decision. Upon booking this hotel I noted the reviews regarding the tiny rooms but I thought they couldn't be that bad. We were very wrong! There was no space to put out both our suitcases so my partner had to store his under the bed! Even though the rooms are not as comfortable as they should be for a 14 th day stay, the location is great (2 minutes walk to Paddington Station, or to the Edgware Road Tube) and even to most of the main bus lines!!! -To the rooms, they are big enough, but should have more place to store clothes and all the stuff you collect when you stay here for almost two weeks. The rooms are clean and whilst smallish you have the benefit of helpful staff, proximity to the Edgeware Road tube and it is cheaper than most. For those who don't know the basic principles of Tune Hotels, let me explain. The room rate is much lower compared to other hotels, because they only offer basic comfort. In almost every hotel, you can choose a room with or without windows (which lowers the room rate even more). Next, you can choose a room with or without "add-ons" (towel & toiletries, wifi, tv, safe, hairdryer, daily cleaning...). Each add-on can be added individually. Booked the Tune hotel at Paddington through the BA website. It is a new concept hotel provideing basics for an affordable price and you pay for the extra (like towels). My BA rate included the extra's (pfew). The room itself was very small... the bed was 1.90m (wich was already inconvenient), there was about 20cm left to pass between the bed and the wall. Also the bathroom was tiny, agian inconvenient for a big guy like me.The bed itself was ok and the room was clean. I had a room on the 1st flo... Read more

Did not expect much going into Tune Hotel Paddington. However, was pleasantly surprised by the clean rooms and fantastic location. Walking distance from many eateries. We even walked from Piccadily Circus. However, it's quite a stretch for those not used to walking long distances. Gustavo was particularly friendly and extremely helpful if you require assistance of any kind. Will not hesitate to re-visit this hotel next time.

Stayed there for a night. Room was very small but understandable since it's about £60. Was assigned to the room at the basement, the passing underground trains can be heard but doesn't bother me much. Would be good if the hotel has kettle. Some hot water during this cold weather would be good.

You get what you pay for... just. The room was very small and functional and location was great. However, the bed / pillows were not comfortable and the room wasn't as clean as other reviews suggest. I don't like the pay as you go approach, especially for towels & TV. The lock on the door was 'flimsy' and for some time I thought I was locked in! Finally, air conditioning is noisy. I would recommend Travelodges or Premier Inns instead.

What a fantastic budget hotel very frills but quite new (2012 ) and a very good price for central London every thing you need for a 3-4 night stay in London especially if you are on a budget and want something central to shops, theatre and site seeing, just near the Edgeware Rd tube Bakerloo line takes you straight to Piccadilly.

Stayed here on a business trip. Receptionist was not overly friendly and passed us a paper bag with a towel in it. I would have thought they would have put it in our room, just seemed a strange way to do it. Room very basic and to watch TV, get towels and WiFi you need to pay extra for a comfort package. We asked for coffee in the afternoon but no chocolate for cappuccino, we asked for tea in the morning and no hot water available. However, the hotel served it's purpose, is completely central ... We stayed at the hotel for 4 days and 3 nights, the room was ok. the tv stopped working for no reason but the staff fixed the issue really fast. There was no toothpaste and a small soap, and we used the same towel during all of our stay, i thought they would clean the room or change the bed everyday but that was not the case. Anyway the hotel was well placed and very easy to access.

Were here for 3 nights with my girlfriend and we have nothing to complain about. Great location, very nice staff and a fantastic room. Overall a very affordable and clean hotel. Will no doubt come back here next time I go to London.

Everything was as I expected. The room was inexpensive for London, small and very clean. There are limited amenities, but the staff was fine with people eating their take-out in the small lobby. There is 24 hour store just across the street. The Paddington Train/Tube station is about 5 minutes walk and the 23 bus to Trafalgar Sq is just around the corner about a 3 minute walk. One tip though there is a major hospital nearby so depending on the room location you may hear sirens at odd hours... Read more

Decent hotel with clean room at a good location. Good option if you are staying for a couple of days in London and if you only intend to sleep in your room. Also, good selection of restaurants and cafes in the area. However, the hotel will charge you for every additional service like TV, WIFI or towels...

This hotel offers all you need for a stay in London. The location is great to get around as you have Underground as well as bus nearby as well as Paddington for your way towards Heathrow. Also the ¬īstaff we met was very helpfull and friendly, Especially Gustvo, Marina and Francesco. We will surely come back on our next trip.
