Small but well formed accommodation. Room was quiet, clean and smart, staff were friendly. 5 mins walk to Kings cross / St pancras, so convenient for public transport and for a stopover before getting the eurostar. Perfect for a quick stopover in central London.

Stayed here a night. Location is reasonable specially if you are looking to have a short stayover for transit over the eurostar or national rail. Rooms are relatively small but it provides a good night rest. Kettle and others are not available in the room but you can get hot water from the counter. They sell coffee and other stuff if you feel the hunger pangs at night. Good worth for a short stay. About 10-15mins walk from the king cross station.

We checked in June 1 and checked out June 3. We arrived prior to our 3 pm check in (about noon) and were able to check in early for £15... much needed to grab a nap after an over night flight from Canada. Wi-Fi was included in our booking since we booked online and the connection was pretty good throughout our stay. The location was great for getting access to the underground as well as St. Pancras station. Quick walk that was manageable with our luggage. The elevator was small and the ro... Read more

This was my second stay at a Tune Hotel in London. The Kings Cross location is the newest and the rooms and bathrooms are larger and nicer than those of the Westminster location where I stayed the first time. I think Tune Hotels are a great budget choice in a city where hotels are very expensive. Prices vary from day to day. Weekdays are cheaper than weekends. Location close to Kings Cross is great for easy transport options all over London and beyond. Rooms are bright, have great co... Read more

The hotel is a short walk from Kings Cross. The lobby is clean and modern. I stayed for one night on business. The room was very small and basic. The bin hadn't been emptied from the previous guest so it was worrying to think the room hadn't been cleaned properly either. However the bed was comfy. I got a good sleep and it did the job. I doubt I would return as I've stayed in better for the money in London.

Always get a great welcome, the prices are hard to beat for modern/quality rooms and I like not having to pay for all the extras I don't need when just needing a room for the night. Beds are firm (I like that) and rooms are clean and well equipped (you pay for TV, wifi, hairdryer, towels)

This is the first time I used Hotel.com and was hopeful the experience would be as advertised online. I selected this hotel primarily due to the location, a short 3 minute walk to all forms of local, national and international transportation. Before we arrived, there was a question whether I would be charged for additional services (hairdryer, housekeeping and wifi). The outcome was perfect! All amenities were as advertised. FREE WIFI in the room which was a top priority for us. The staff was... Read more

The staff is incredibly friendly and professional, Chris and Tiago are very welcoming and helpful, as well as patient. I have to say that the others, seemed the same professional and helpful. The check in was quick and the room is nice and really clean. If I travel to London again, this will be my hotel.

I went into crisis mode as soon as I arrived at this very pleasant and reasonably priced hotel. Upon unpacking, I discovered that my almost new iPhone 6 Plus (worth $1,100CAD) had just gone missing. Management and staff immediately allowed me to view the lobby camera videos in case I had dropped it there -- to see if someone had picked it up. No luck. I eventually gave it up for lost. I booked the hotel through Booking.com (and paid for it using my mums card, as she wanted to pay) about 6 weeks before arriving in London. On arrival, we checked in at the desk and they said that although the reservation was there, we still had to pay for it because their system was down and couldn't take payment remotely. Like the concept here, low initial price, and you only pay for what you actually use. However, the reality is that the hotel charges for absolutely everything, which ends up getting a bit irritating. Nice and comfy hotel very close to the tube and national rail station St Pancras but you must pay for almost everything (tv, wi-fi, cleaning, baggage, etc). I really enjoyed listening to the tv from the two rooms opposite me until past midnight, especially when I had important meetings in the morning. They seemed to try and make me feel privileged that they had given me a towel in the room and not paid the £2 to rent one. Genuinely have known better hostels than this. For your own sanity, stay elsewhere.

I've stayed here more than once. The rooms and en suites are spotlessly clean. Not all of the rooms have windows, and you get poor phone reception on the lower ground floor, so for this reason I would choose a room with a Window. The downside to this is depending on the side of the hotel your room is on it can be noisy from the road. Air conditioning and TVs seem to be standard.

Stayed for 2 nights. The pricing structure is similar to a budget airline (e.g. Tune...) with basics such as towels, toiletries, room safe and wifi in an optional £10 per day bundle on cost on top of the basic room cost. Daily cleaning is extra again, as are early/late check in and storing bags. However all of this was very transparent on the booking website and at reception, so it does not feel "tricky". As ever a great hotel that is value for money. Modern and clean staff also excellent including Mary and Kinga 5 mins from Kings Cross station which is 10 mins from central London by the tube. Early check in also available to which the fee was waived since I took a room without a window.

I'll keep this brief and summarise the negatives: - Room with no view - two windows looking out on a covered fire escape without any view of sky or otherwise - Noise - air conditioning machinery right outside of these windows - with little sound proofing provided by window - Air conditioning in the room - noisy and ineffective at regulating and maintaining temperature of room - Tiny room - barely 6 inches around bed at one end making moving around very difficult - Terrible mattress - literally t... You get exactly what you pay for, and I was very happy with that. This is one of the least expensive hotels in the area and I consider it a bargain for it's amenities. It has air conditioning, which I consider essential, as in other hotels without air conditioning I would have to open the window on a hot night and then the street noise could be very loud. The rooms are tiny, but clean and comfortable and the location cannot be beat. You are less than a 5 minute walk from King's Cross station and... Read more

Walking distance from Kings Cross/ St Pancras Station with trains to and from all London airports, Eurostar and a tubestation. Plenty of supermarkets (24hr), bars and restaurants close, nice foodmarket at Kings Cross Wednesday through Saturday. My room was nicely quiet despite being very close to the elevator. Would stay there again.

I stayed in this hotel for one night in a group of 4 friends. We booked 2 twin rooms and were located in the basement meaning we didn't get windows in our room, however we knew this would be the case in advance and it wasn't a problem for us. For the price we paid the hotel was excellent value for money. It is in a very good location just 5 minutes walk from Kings Cross and St Pancras tube/railway stations and about 30 minutes walk to the amenities of central London. The hotel is very clean, com... I stayed at the hotel for a weekend in November, having booked online through TripAdvisor. On arrival checking in was smooth and quick. 2nd floor room was nice and clean. I spent most of the day at meetings but it was always a nice room to come back to. The hotel is close to Kings Cross station so very handy if travelling into London and you dont want to be too far from the station. Very good reception service here too, especially from M. Kinga. l was happy with my stay.

Easy to find and only a short walk from Kings Cross Station. We stayed two nights, the staff who dealt with us during that time, Priya, Kinga and Mary were excellent. Room was very clean and tidy (and modern). Shower excellent!Hairdryer attached to wall for use. Sockets for charging etc (one hidden behind the drop down shelf!) Room 21 in lower basement has irons and ironing boards free-for-use. Note: No tea/coffee making facilities (in our room at least?!).

I've worked in hotels for 12 years now and I've stayed in some shockers. We use this hotel for our clients and I wasn't expecting anything fancy. I was pleasantly surprised though, the room was small but perfectly big enough to accommodate the two of us, it was modern, bright and clean - and it had a window. The lift on our way up was small though, we just about fit in (2 of us). The bathroom has everything you need including a wonderful power shower. The location of this hotel is fantastic, jus... Smallest room I've ever seen in a hotel, but we didn't need more so it didn't bother us. It had tv, comfortable enough bed, no toiletries though and you have to ask for more than 1 towel if you need it. We slept fine, everything was clean enough and modern looking. Can't beat price for location.

I stay here regularly when I am in London on business. I always get a room with no window which might sound claustrophobic but results in an excellent nights sleep. The hotel is basic, no frill but clean, comfy and great for business trips.

Just a few minutes walk from Kings Cross station, we booked x4 rooms (twin with no windows), located on the lower ground floor the rooms were very quiet, a little bit on the small side but i don't think we spent more than 8hrs in the room. Bathroom was again compact but had all you need (no bath with a walk in shower). Check in staff were friendly and helpful, location is superb, next to the Water Rat (pub) with a shop (Co-op) across the road and Kings Cross is less than 5 mins walk. All in a... Read more

A great location for central London sight seeing and commuting either by foot or local transport. The room: clean, tidy with ample space. En suite: well designed with nice big mirror I would say it is more than worth paying a few pounds for the extras like WiFi so you can research or record your trip.

This hotel didn't exceed my expectations but was decent and right for the price. I needed something close to St. Pancras station and was already spending a pretty penny in Venice, and Rome. Since I only needed a decent place to shower and sleep while working in London this fit the bill. -Awesome location, next to train station great restaurants, bars, coffee, and neighborhoods - Prices in London for hotels are some of the highest in the world so it's affordable rate for the locat...
