One may expect that a 4* hotel should have a comfortable bathroom, actually this is so small ( and the design so poor) that there were no spaces for the toiletries and these had to be placed within the bedroom. Not only this, the shower floor had no separation from the rest of the bathroom, and the water floods it almost completely. Out of this, the service and breakfast was average.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms spotlessly clean & very comfortable. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Good location for stations & excellent value for money. Will definitely stay here again.

Ambassadors is a well located hotel close to Euston, Kings Cross and St Pancras stations. The rooms are generally very small and the bathrooms are mostly wet rooms. Despite the compact size, the rooms are clean and modern and there is surprising little external noise from the road outside. The beds are pretty comfortable too. It is also pretty good value for money given its location. There is an onsite bar and restaurant.

During my recent stay in London, I had a series of very unfortunate events. And this group of people, remarkable staff of Anna, Joe, etc., helped me by not treating me as a number or just another hotel guest. Instead, they treated me with kindness which is rare in a hotel setting nowadays. Usually hotel staff are expected to be courteous, professional, etc., which of course are extremely important, but people tend to forget that kindness and compassion should be among those qualities as wel... Excellent location so fine if you don't actually need to spend time in the room which was tiny. I travel for work. There was a a desk and chair to work at but the room was so small, you had to sit alongside the desk, there wasn't enough room to sit in front of it!.

We booked this room as an overnight stay following a West End show in London. The location of hotel is ideal as it's a five minute walk to Euston and two tube lines reach theatre land. The room was small but for £134 I thought probably not to bad for London. However I was somewhat surprised when told breakfast was not included. We still had the breakfast and requested to charge it to the room. Upon settling the bill, we were a little shocked to receive a service charge of just under £4. To be... Read more

When travelling to London we usually stay at the Ambassador. It is ideal for King's Cross and for access to theatre land, the British Museum and other central tourist places. The rooms are clean and the facilities good. The menu seems expensive so we never eat there but there enough places around London to dine. Ideal for weekend breaks.

Cannot fault the location, room cleanliness, room facilities and price. The breakfast was also superb, plenty of choice - cooked, cereals, fruits, yoghurts, cold meats etc. The restaurant staff very hospitable. My only irk and one I have never encountered in another hotel is the deposit system. Asked on check in for credit card so a deposit of £50 given - not unusual so I handed it over readily. On check out day reception staff quite abrupt when I asked about deposit and pulled a face telling ... Read more
