The rooms were dirty with cigarette ends in the carpet where people have been smoking on the balcony, along with that the bathroom was tired and dated with mould along the edges which was an eye sore to say the least? The breakfast was cold and tasteless to which we had breakfast in a local café, some of the staff were abrupt and seemed to congregate in the office behind reception where you could not get hold of them. I felt the management did not show leadership over their staff. I wouldn't st... Read more

Stayed here for one night as it was a good location for a concert we where going to. Llandudno is a beautiful place we had a great afternoon shopping and good places to eat and drink. On arrival at hotel it looked like it was once a grand hotel then you walk in and the smell hits you one I cannot describe (dirty toilets / damp / )!!! The room was clean but soooooooooo dated something out of the 70's I would think ( I'm not that old). In the morning there was no hot water for a bath or shower we... Read more

Where to start...filthy rooms, breakfast was shocking, management of the hotel was not helpful at all when needing help. Will never visit again. I get to stay in a lot of hotels with my job and this is by far the worse.

We have been to this hotel several times and, like the previous reviewer, spent the New Year weekend there. We have nothing but praise for all the staff, from the receptionists and porters on arrival to the restaurant and bar staff, the entertainments team and the housekeeping and maintenance staff. The food admittedly is not cordon bleu, but considering the amount of people being catered for, is perfectly acceptable. We always book a premier room which guarantees a sea view and also a table in ... Read more

My parents went here for New Years Eve weekend, and they haven't stopped raving since they got home. They have stayed here before, many times and always compliment the service. Yes the hotel is a little tired and old fashioned but this all adds to the character. The service is excellent, the staff go above and beyond to help or provide you with anything you want. In the restaurant if they haven't got it they will do there utmost to get it for you. For new years eve weekend we arrived to a l... Read more
