Ibis is a small but perfectly formed little hotel. Set in a busy port city Ibis is Ideal for the bussiness overnighter. Or even better for a short holiday stay caters especially for couples. Indeed Ibis has great tidy rooms and good breakfast food.

Came for a hen do and it suited that stay. Clean slightly small rooms. We had a good view out towards the dock building. Although it was basic we weren't looking for much more. It could have benefitted from a mirror above the desk to do makeup and a bin in the room as the small bathroom bin wasn't enough! The fact that we were able to get some pizzas late at night was brilliant and they were really nice!

This is a budget priced hotel and so you get what you pay for. The location was very good as walking distance to town and opposite the docks. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. However, it was very small and the pillows could do with updating. If you just staying for one night, this hotel is just fine.

Ground floor room. There was no net curtains and people walking outside could see straight into room. Side entrance was used by staff on breaks and there were frequently people smoking outside. Many staff had difficulty in understanding spoken English Breakfast was basic, eggs not recognisable. Price too high for the quality of the food. I have just stayed in the Ibis Hotel near the Albert Dock in Liverpool and in my opinion it is the worst budget Hotel I've stayed in for a long time. I am a Designer and stay in all types of Hotels ranging from 5* luxury to budget Hotels. I stayed at Ibis Albert Dock for three nights and had a very enjoyable time. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, nothing too much trouble for them. My room on the 2nd floor was clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a very good choice of items, always being replenished. Free WiFi with good connections was useful. The hotel is, as the name suggests, opposite the entrance to the tourist attraction of Albert Dock and within a few minutes walking distance of Pier Head and the Mersey... Read more

We stayed at the Ibis as was working at the River Festival. The first night was fine - room was extremely basic- just about had a wardrobe and no safe. Breakfast was ok- mass produced but fine. Went off to work and when we arrived back at 5.30 there was hens and stags checking in- literally counted 5 groups and the bar area then became noisy- didn't bother us but there were families there and they didn't seem to care what they said. Rooms are very clean but are small. Twin beds are so close together that you can touch each other just turning over. Towels are also very small. In the bar we had difficulty buying a bottle of red wine as the bar did not have a corkscrew. We stayed here for one night on our Trafalgar Tour. The room was quite small but it was very clean and even had air conditioning. We ate breakfast here and unfortunately it was very average.
