Stayed one night for a birthday celebration, clean bright rooms with complementary mini bar. Great bathroom. Good location. The reception, bar staff and especially the staff at the Marco Pierre White restaurant were so friendly ( special mention to Keeley ) who looked after us all night, nothing was too much trouble, smiley chatty and even brought a complementary sweet for my mum as it was her birthday then the manager came with a chilled bottle of wine. Got last minute tickets for the quarter final and this was one of the only hotels available at the time. I obviously paid over the odds at the time due to the shortage of rooms across the city but at the time it was worth it. The hotel is very bright and modern with some very nice touches in the restaurant, halls and rooms. The hotel is down a very quiet street so was good for me being a light sleeper. This is a really good hotel for the price. Very modern boutique style. The location is great, just up the road from the Albert dock. We had a superior room, despite this it was not that big, but there was little noise from the corridor or rooms either side and it was very clean. The flooring in the bedroom was laminate and so very cold and noisy. The bathroom was very small, the vanity under the basin was no good for putting things down on and the basin was close to the wall so you had to sta... Read more

I really loved staying here. The location is perfect, access is easy to everything that's in the city. Exit the hotel and look right, and you get a beautiful view of the harbour. The staff were seriously better than any hotel I stayed at while travelling across Europe, and I hit up a lot of places. The restaurant was great, meals I had were delicious. The room was the size I expected (I was by myself so had a basic room) but was furnished to maximise the space. Also, a very very comfortable be... Read more

Located within stumbling distance of a number of great restaurants and pubs, the Indigo is far easier to find walking than driving!!....the one way system in this part of Liverpool will have you visiting the same roads numerous times until you are lucky/skilful enough to get the right road!! However, once you have found Indigo, it's a nice bright (indeed, REALLY bright) fascia and reception, and theme that continues into the bright orange décor of the well-appointed rooms. I don't think I've ever been so disappointed in a hotel. Based on reviews I was looking forward to staying at Hotel Indigo in Liverpool, but it was a big let down. First of all, it was really expensive and when I received an email from them the day before telling me that renovation works were being carried out, I feared the worst. Sure enough, the entrance to the hotel was difficult to access, it looked like a building site with ladders propped up behind reception, and no lounge. But the real pr... Read more

Having visited Liverpool recently for work I decided to book various Hotels for each visit and Hotel Indigo easily topped all of them, the rooms are brilliant, clean, spacious, large TV, comfy bed and a great bathroom, especially the showers, I was even supplied complimentary snacks and drinks in the mini-fridge and the breakfast had plenty of options and even though it was mass-produced it still kept a good taste. I stayed at this hotel with my boyfriend to celebrate my birthday. The staff took very good care of us. The room was lovely with a very very comfortable bed! We ate in Marcos restaurant, the food was to die for as were the cocktails. A young man had his first day behind the bar and worked really hard to get each order perfect. Excellent facilities, a good room, and a well equipped bathroom. My only qualm was that I would have expected the room to be a little bigger for the price, however it was well decorated and colourful which was what originally attracted us to the hotel. We could only open our one suitcase over a chair and small coffee table. We were not paying a cheap rate at £150 per nite and expected a larger room. We did observe some rooms that were larger. The bill sorted , we left our bags and explored Liverpool for the day. Would come back here.....no problem at all. Thank... Read more

I stayed at the Hotel Indigo at the recommendation of colleagues and I'm so glad that I did. Conveniently sited near the Merseyrail Moorfields station and close to some of Liverpool's greatest attractions, this hotel is bright, funky and extremely comfortable. Every room has a stocked fridge with complementary soft drinks and chocolate (other hotels please take note) and themed decoration. I couldn't bring myself to eat in the (no doubt excellent) restaurant as the idea of being scowled at... Read more

We stayed here for 3 nights recently and loved it. The hotel is very clean with a great atmosphere and lovely rooms. The decor is very trendy which adds to its charm and it is near to lots of sightseeing locations - all within easy walking distance! We had breakfast here on the last morning and it was very good! The staff are all very friendly and helpful which adds a welcoming touch. Would recommend this hotel if you are in Liverpool!

A very sophisticated hotel loved the decor and reception were friendly. However our room was a family room and there was an unlocked door which gave us access to someone elses room which made me feel very uncomfortable..a massive plus was the marco pierre restraunt downstairs were the service was second to none! Location not too far away from docks and liverpool one if you know your way around

We simply loved the Hotel Indigo! We spent three nights here as part of our pilgrimage to Liverpool and the Beatles! The hotel is in an ideal location to most activities, and especially to the Cavern Club and the Albert Dock and sightseeing! The hotel is a bit quirky in some of its decor as they have endeavored to reflect the history of the building in the interior decor, especially in the rooms. Their guest rooms are clean. comfortable, & well-equipped; the views, however, are a bit limited... Read more

We stayed here for one night. Wish it was for longer. An excellent experience all round. Amazing customer service at check in. So welcoming. The room was super clean and decorated in a funky modern design. Nice touch with free mini bar. The breakfast was fantastic. Such a massive choice. All very tasty. For the price we couldn't fault a thing! Would also recommend the Marco Pierre white restaurant.

A gem of a hotel on the site of an old cotton merchants, hence the theme . Lovely quirky decor, very comfortable rooms and spacious hot showers . Attentive, helpful staff who are knowledgeable about the area.Only 5 to 10 minute walk to the Albert docks and all their attractions. Marco Pierre White steak house restaurant which looked very popular sadly we didn't try this time as we had other arrangements. Enormous help yourself breakfast to set you up for the day !

We stayed at the Hotel Indigo at the end of October having previously stayed at another Hotel In Liverpool early in the year. The staff and Hotel were excellent and it was right in the centre a few minutes to Matthew street which is were the best night life is although there are other places. The shopping centre (Liverpool 1) was next door literally and the added bonus of a few treats in the room was nice by the hotel. The air conditioning was stuck in the room so went to reception on our way ou... Read more

If you looking for a Liverpool hotel, conveniently located and at a reasonable price, then this hotel has everything to offer. The parking in the Capital car park is only a few minutes away- very secure and the hotel have a deal of £8 for 24 hours. The room was very clean, a good size and had a super shower. We also had a mini fridge, complimentary drinks and snacks and robes. The staff were very friendly. We will definitely use this hotel again.

We arrived at the hotel after a long day of shopping and was warmly welcomed by the front desk. Staff were exceptionally friendly and nothing was to much trouble. After a quick drink in the lobby which was waiter service we went up to our room. First impressions were spacious enough, clean and quite modern. Nice little complimentary treats in the fridge (bottled water, chocolate, fizzy pop) The bed was possibly the comfiest I have ever slept in with big thick duvet, chunky pillows and a super m... Back at Hotel Indigo for I (I think!) our eighth stay! Very impressed with the new décor in the reception area and the MPW restaurant, definitely adds to the atmosphere of the place! As always all the staff are amazingly friendly and helpful. The room on this visit was great as always, bed very very comfortable, and the rainfall showers in the bathrooms are almost worth their own review! Slight problem that we had not experienced before was clearly we had an adjoining room this time as desp... Read more
