We stayed here the night before flying to Disneyland Paris - the hotel is easy to find, close to the airport but well insulated so you don't hear the planes, clean & had everything you'd expect to find. Staff were friendly, especially the lady at breakfast. Breakfast was lovely, a really good selection. Free wifi - always a bonus! Our room was nice, the pull out bed was uncomfortable - as they always are but the kids liked it. Ensuite was lovely, shower ran hot and cold a bit but it wasn't to... Read more

Quite central to most parts. Friendly staff and relaxed. Reasonable with bfast. Decently comfortable rooms. Does get busy during a game in town or over the weekends but overall would stay again there next time. Worth the place for a quick short visit.

This hotel is very close to the airport and seems to specialise in hotel and parking combo deals - which are quite competitive The hotel itself is a bit tired , but the reception staff were friendly enough The rooms are basic , but that isn't an issue if you are staying for the convenience only There is free WiFi, and basic freeview tv

My wife and I are local ( we live 2 miles away ) and we stayed whilst major renovation works were being done in our home. We booked it based on proximity to our house and my office which are both minutes away from the hotel. I travel up and down the country extensively on business and am very lucky in as much as budget is not really a consideration on my travels, consequently I tend to stay in the higher cost end hotels. This stay at a Holiday Inn Express has been an eye opener for me, the q... Read more

Stayed nights 20/21 May and could not fault the budget hotel in any way. It's very quiet, unlike the hotels nearer the airport you tend to get doors slamming and suitcases being dragged down the corridors at silly o'clock at those. I would like to mention Lala who is the chambermaid on the fifth floor, our room was spotless. One more thing, Premier Inn's rates locally have got expensive, so have a look here, you may not get the full English here but I'll be back.

Hi, we stayed at the hotel to save travelling on the day to Liverpool. We arrived late in the day. Nice welcome, the room was generally nice but very hot. Shower was immense and nice toiletries. Beds not very comfortable. I had requested a high floor in the booking but got 1st floor. As it was 10pm couldnt be bothered to argue as my wife and daughter were wrecked from the journey. During the night noise from kids laughing etc and doors constantly banging, must have got about 3 hours sleep a... Read more

From the moment we booked in these guys were professional yet so friendly and welcoming! As soon as they saw I had a pushchair, I don't travel light with two teens and a baby, the receptionist said I would be much better off in a disabled room which was bigger and they would sort the transfer and travel Cot straight away. The breakfast, for being an express, was lovely and we'll set out with enough choice for everyone. The hotel was very clean, the staff were efficient and friendly and I would d... Read more

Stayed for 2 nights, the room was on 5th floor but no problem with the lift. The service staff was very nice and polite. Was well impressed by the attention they paid! Its only a 10 minute walk from the airport and with free parking, it was a perfect stopover in Liverpool! Breakfast was inclusive! nice and clean rooms and generally a very satisfactory stay!

Beds where comfy. Only problem we had was from Sunday 26 June where the breakfast area seemed to be covered in fly every morning from that date covering open youghurts and fruit . More positives than negatives, John was very helpful along with Matthew, Alex and Pauline. The hotel was fresh and well positioned close to the airport. I wanted to eat when we arrived and we couldn't get food in the hotel (20.00) and were advised to find a restaurant close by. I had also changed currency to pay in pounds (commission) and was told at checkout that the bill had been settled of my card.

Very good hotel a warm and friendly welcome, we hardly waited to check in and got to our rooms very easily. We came down to the restaurant for some food the menu wasn't massive but it had things for everyone on there, the food it's self was very nice we all finished our meals while watching the very large TV with a cold beer. Once we got into rooms 518 and 519 they were very spacious twin rooms with a nice size en suite only issue with the nights sleep was there seemed to be some vibrating pipes... Read more

A decent Budget Hotel if your only staying for one night. Food quality for breakfast is general as per Holiday Inn Express Brand. Microwaved Sausages, scrambled eggs, beans, croissants, bread rolls, yogurts. Rooms on the 5th floor facing the airport slightly noisy due to factory facing had to be moved to other side of hotel as constant vibration interrupted my sleep. All in all a clean and spacious budget hotel ideal for airport stay before or after flight.

It was nicely located for a business meeting with reasonable facilities within walking distance. I was really pleased with the room rate, my colleague stayed in a Travel Lodge further afield and paid the same rate.

We stayed here before and after our holiday as it is only 1 mile away from Liverpool airport and parking packages available. Our room was very clean and beds well made. Our hairdryer in our room was broken but we got a replacement straight away. The chamber maids in the morning where respectful of other guests and took care to keep noise to a minimum for late check out guests. On our departure we came across one of the chamber maids Deniese and after cleaning most of the rooms still had a friend... Read more

The checkin wasn't great even though we are Gold Members! Breakfast was ample. Room on the third floor was far too hot, had to open the window on numerous as there's no aircon but so many sirens left it impossible to sleep. Mentioned this to the Receptionist on checkout, she said she will make a note of same against our reservation. We paid for this room in advance and haven't received any money back or acknowledgement of the problem yet. I'm so disappointed as I'm such an advocate of Holi... Read more

Food menu was very limited even for a Holiday inn express, only aorund four main courses available. Staff we very friendly and accomodating. Hotel was busy due to the start of the school holidays and locarion by the airport. Fine for business if your hungry may want to dine out.

Pre-booked and pre-paid for a double room at this hotel, upon check in we were given the key to a room which already had people in it- walked in on this, which was not ideal at all!! Then we got issued a twin room where the toilet did not work properly. No sign of an apology or explanation for any of this, the manager was supposed to come and see us however he made no attempt. No acknowledgement of any of this was even made at check out- very very poor customer service. To not have a room whi... Read more

We stayed at this hotel for the weekend and found that everything was up to usual standard you would expect from Holiday Inn. Reception staff were nice, friendly and helpful. The only reason I would not give this review 5 stars is as follows. We had a fire alarm at about 2.30am and request to evacuate the building. It all went well, kids were a bit nervous though and it turned out to be a false alarm in the end. As a room for improvement I would recommend hotel to deploy fire marshals to direct... Read more

My husband and I, along with my sister and her fiancé, booked a room each here as somewhere nice and close ready for our flight to Gran Canaria the next day. The customer service was fine, the room was nice and it was general good. The let down was the breakfast in the morning. Although there were a selection of cereals to choose from the cooked breakfast consisted of scrambled egg, beans and sausage... That was it. We were in Liverpool for the weekend and struggled to find a hotel in the centre on the Saturday night within our budget, so we opted for this airport hotel when we came across it as it was a lot cheaper ?? even when factoring in 2 sets of cab cost fares to and back from the hotel. We arrived late on the Saturday night, so check in was a breeze through the deserted reception / lobby area. Our room was a twin, and spacious enough for the 2 of us, especially when considering we, and others, will ... Read more

We stayed here on 7 September and while the staff were really nice and friendly our room was just awful. Bed was lumpy and uncomfortable when we did manage to get to sleep the fire alarm went off at 1.00 am which turned out to be a false alarm. When we finally got to our destination we were completely exhausted from lack of sleep.

Booked a park and fly package the night before an early flight. Absolutely no complaints at all, the room was very clean and comfortable and the staff friendly. The highlight for us was being able to have some breakfast at 4.00 am, hence avoiding the costly airport prices.
