Koukash Restaurant The restaurant had a lovely ambience with somebody playing the piano when we first arrived and it wasn't too loud. This later turned recorded music to what I can only describe as my 15-year-old sons playlist of general house music and some pop but it wasn't very loud and it didn't seem to be that out of place. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and very well maintained I don't think it's very old anyway even though the building is a converted listed building The ladies toilet... Read more

I have regular Elemis treatments and unfortunately the 30min facial was not Elemis . i did not receive a skin lab reading which i was told over the phone i would have .to see which facial i was having for my skin type . if i was paying just for a treatment there i would be very disappointed.but the facility's won us over..would go back to the spa but would not have a treatment .

Stayed here with my fiancé for my friends wedding. There was a large group of us that stayed. The reception staff were so helpful, friendly and professional. The breakfast was delicious and great value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again in future.

I have to say I was completely surprised by this hotel in a great way! The hotel was updated, a beautiful old building with history, nice bar/lounge area, and close enough to walk to things to do. The room was clean, comfortable, and very large (we had an upgrade for Diamond level). The staff bent over backwards to help us with parking directions, boarding passes for Ryanair, and to have food to eat since we were leaving very early the next morning. It was an excellent stay.

It's actually pretty hard to find fault with the hotel. It's lovely. The only things I could find wrong include the time being wrong on the clock in my room, and the car park used by the hotel is ridiculously small and tight so avoid it unless you drive a small car and not a massive tank suv like me. I'd definitely stay again

Had a really nice weekend stay in this fantastic city. Excellent, helpful and friendly staff. Great location for the city centre and the docks. Very comfortable room and a tasty and plentiful breakfast. Would very gladly return.

Never been here before. The hotel is beautiful. Gorgeous building and the reception staff very welcoming. The bar 'koukash' is also very nice. The rooms are nicely decorated and bed is very comfortable. The room was really really warm and the air con system didn't appear to work (our friends also had same problem) and not something I fancied dealing with in the middle of the night. The location is great and they have a deal with the Q car park on Vernon street so parking is cheaper.

Cold hotel unfortunately with seemingly no real way to resolve but lovely and welcoming staff. Don't really approve of the automatic £5 charge to get room service to your room, each time. I wouldn't stay at this hotel again but I would at other Doubletree hotels as I have had many a positive experience

I can not understand such a thing: at night will cost £ 200. and they will not be able to provide this money you breakfast. Check out asking for more money £ 20 a person to pay for two eggs, sausage and very bland coffee. Check-in and at breakfast do not say, too, that you do not have it included in the price. Very rude behavior. Bad feeling now.

Hotels, just like life, are not perfect it's how issues are dealt with that make all the difference. Mohammad and his entire team sprung into action and made this stay memorable for all the right reasons. Firstly I booked the Rathbone Suite at a rate of just over £200 for the night. This is advertised as having a separate living room and a complementary minibar. The room was really rather small. The living room is not separate- it's basically a room with a settee and although the bar was comp... Read more

We have just returned home from our 2nd stay at the Doubletree, Liverpool - the first one being in October. Once again, it was excellent - from the moment we arrived at 10am and the room was ready for us (not many hotels offer this kind of service) until the moment the doorman helped us load our Christmas shopping into the car (and there were a lot of bags!). The staff are all so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable about everything on offer. We had dinner in the hotel restaurant, Koukash, whi... Read more
