An excellent hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Our room was beautiful and a lovely size. Breakfast the next morning was lovely and once again very helpful staff. Would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend it.

My daughter and I visited this restaurant last Saturday evening for a three course meal which was purchased through Living Social, the meal was excellent served to us by lovely Cara what a lovely young lady so polite and cheerful, all staff where so friendly, a lovely restaurant, we moved on into the bar for delicious cocktails, before leaving to go to the Theatre. We certainly will be returning shortly. You will sure enjoy. Do all give this restaurant a visit the next time you are in Liverpool... Read more

Koukash Restaurant The restaurant had a lovely ambience with somebody playing the piano when we first arrived and it wasn't too loud. This later turned recorded music to what I can only describe as my 15-year-old sons playlist of general house music and some pop but it wasn't very loud and it didn't seem to be that out of place. Everywhere was exceptionally clean and very well maintained I don't think it's very old anyway even though the building is a converted listed building The ladies toilet... Read more

Nice room, pleasant staff. Bit underwhelmed after the reviews I had read. Website to book was a nightmare. No idea that I was getting a room with the bathroom upstairs, which I was not keen on. However, bed exceptionally comfortable and had a great night's sleep.

We stayed here for a hen weekend, thirteen girls. From the minute we arrived the staff were welcoming and could not do enough for us.I have stayed in lots of lovely hotels and this was by far one of the best. One of the girls had a montage ready to show to the bride -to-be and couldn't,get the laptop to connect to the television. The staff brought up another television and connected it for her.Above and beyond the call of duty.!!! Fab. Will definitely return and will recommend to my friends Th... Read more

Me and my friend had a lovely day in the spa. Perfect ... I have regular Elemis treatments and unfortunately the 30min facial was not Elemis . i did not receive a skin lab reading which i was told over the phone i would have .to see which facial i was having for my skin type . if i was paying just for a treatment there i would be very disappointed.but the facility's won us over..would go back to the spa but would not have a treatment .

Super venue for a wedding - great combination of a lovely modern newly opened hotel in an old building... with staff that can't do enough for you. From check in to check out I can't fault it. Not cheap - but Liverpool isn't - but worth it. Recommended.

Stayed here with my fiancé for my friends wedding. There was a large group of us that stayed. The reception staff were so helpful, friendly and professional. We were also giving warm welcome cookies when checking in which I thought was a nice little touch. The rooms were immaculate and the beds were so comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and great value for money. I would definitely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again in future.

We stayed at the hotel last weekend and had a great experience, from the moment we arrived we were greeted by really welcoming team members both in reception and concierge. The room was fabulous and a large & very comfortable bed, We also dined at the hotel and the food was of a really high standard, we were really pleased we had decided to dine in. First time to Liverpool and wanted somewhere central so that we were in the thick of it. I also wanted a hotel that had spa facilities so we could take some time to relax. The DoubleTree Hilton is a lovely hotel and had all the facilities we needed to enjoy our long weekend away. The staff were very friendly and courteous and made us very welcome on our arrival. We used the spa to have a massage before heading to the pool. The room we stayed in was compact but very clean and modern looking in it... Read more

Stayed here for my wedding anniversary, disappointed that I called the week before and was told the Spa was included in my Sliver HH membership, only to arrive to be told it's Gold & Platinum, having to pay £60 for 2 people, the Spa was nice but very small and basically not worth £60. I was told I get a free cookie, but didn't receive one...I got a free drink and was told I will send one for the wife to my room only to chase them for this at reception... I have to say I was completely surprised by this hotel in a great way! The hotel was updated, a beautiful old building with history, nice bar/lounge area, and close enough to walk to things to do. The room was clean, comfortable, and very large (we had an upgrade for Diamond level). The staff bent over backwards to help us with parking directions, boarding passes for Ryanair, and to have food to eat since we were leaving very early the next morning. It was an excellent stay.

We stayed for one night and dined at the restaurant Koukash. Very beautiful DoubleTree combining old with modern. The front desk staff were also very nice. We had a room on the top floor of the spa tower and found a total lack of sleep without the aid of earplugs due to the clock tower outside the window chiming every hour and seagulls outside of the windows being extremely noisy. Stayed here while playing nearby golf courses. Great base overall, but parking a block away and ask for a room on the same level as the elevator as interior staircases can be a bit of a hassle. We were allocated a room which were up steps from the elevator despite my Honours profile stating that my wife is disabled and required a room close to the elevators. Some staff were unhelpful, especially at breakfast which was a joke as there was always some food item that had to waited for e.g. bacon or sausages and when it arrived, the other food already on your plate was cold. I've watched this building being slowly turned into a hotel over more than a decade wondering whether it would ever be completed. It finally has been - and it is a spectacular job, a mix of civic grandeur and modern style. Many of the original features have been retained, and to access our second floor room we ascended a newly fitted glass elevator around which flows a grand staircase. Stayed for 3 nights with my girlfriend, staying in the Junior King Suite. The room was incredible and the warm cookie on arrival was lovely. Celebrating our anniversary as well, some treats were left in our room which was also another surprise. The spa was amazing, and it being included in our suite made it even better.
