I wasn't impressed at all when I entered the hotel. Quite a simple reception with a bar that looks like that of a 2 sat hotel tops. Plus once you're in the lift you really feel like you're in a Premier Inn. But I must admit that the rooms where comfy (the bed was great), quiet (no roaring air con) and quite spacious with all amenities. So all in all for £75 a night including breakfast (with freshly squeezed orange juice what is more) I can't complain. Plus staff is friendly and professional... Read more

Stayed here twice overnight for the football. Not very welcoming. The prices are ridiculous at the reception. Location is good. Rooms are very good. For the price you pay its not good value. Rooms are modern and clean but there's hotel in better locations in the city centre that do the same job, for cheaper prices.

First time using this particular Hampton and although in general it was good, little things let it down. Gents be warned there is no electric shaver sockets in the rooms and when you question this at reception they give you a blank!! A couple of bulbs were out and were reported but not fixed. Location is excellent and it is clean and comfortable but just needs attention to detail......

The hotel is situated very close to the town Centre, and directly opposite the Albert Dock area. I chose to rebook my room using the HHonors online digital booking process, meaning I got the room I wanted - this meant I got great views :-) The room doesn't contain a safe or fridge, but other than that, is very comfortable - the extra sofa bed is great for lounging on watching TV or using the Internet, far better than sitting on the bed. Don't know why there has to be an "except". I have had a great experience with Hampton in the past and this is no different... except... The internet in the room was nonexistent. Ok, to be fair, at some points during the night I was able to send out and receive messages/emails. Lucky for me I got off work at midnight and was back to the room by 1am and from then till 4-5am I was able to do a little work on the computer. We stayed 1 night and to be fair, didn't really spend much time in the room. It was very cramped for 3 adults, with a double bed and a pull out sofa bed. The issue was that there wasn't really anywhere to put the luggage and still be able to walk around the beds. The bathroom was also small and tight, and the internet was in-and-out. The hotel was centrally located to all of the "Beatles" sights we wanted to see, was very clean, with a nice buffet breakfast in the morning. The staff were all ple... Read more

Could not do enough for us. Location is about a 5 minuet walk from Albert docks which is a pleas cent walk. And about 5 mins away from the liverpool one shopping centre. I paid $130 USD per night for this hotel, which includes a full English breakfast. The place was clean, quiet, and even included washcloths. A promotional rate made this hotel a terrific value. It is in a good location a few minutes walk to several attractions on the Strand. In the opposite direction, there is a wealth of pubs, bistros, shopping, and attractions. We had two rooms which were spotless and enticing. They were a bit more compact than our US Hampton rooms but so stylish. Ours looked out over the docks. Parking a bit pricey (they should offer the same rate as sister Hilton) but good for 24 hours so we walked everywhere.

Stayed for 2 nights recently. Room was lovely, spotlessly clean and really comfortable bed. Hotel is in a prime position opposite Albert Dock. Unfortunately breakfast was a chaotic experience. The seating area is quite small and it is a self service breakfast so you need to squeeze through small gaps between chairs and then it is a free for all trying to get breakfast. To be fair the reception staff warned us that the hotel was full and told us the busy times but to be honest it seemed to busy a... Read more

Just returned from a 3 day stay in Hampton by Hilton in Liverpool. The hotel is a lovely clean hotel with great friendly staff. The hotel is well located close to Albert Dock and Liverpool1. The hotel was very clean with nice rooms. The only fault we found with hotel was the breakfast room it was way too small for the amount of people staying in hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anyone on a short break to Liverpool.

Great location really close to the Albert Dock complex but in a reasonably quiet location. Really smart yet practical hotel. We had a family room which was easily big enough for the four of us. When we checked in we noticed a large group on a hen night whish was a worry, but they were either very well behaved or the rooms provided good sound proofing as we were not disturbed once.

For the most part, this was an average Hampton Inn. Decent room, decent breakfast. It's biggest pro was their location. Walking distance to most places. The biggest drawback I saw was the complete apathy of the front desk personnel. They had no interest in being courteous, much less going out of their way to make a weary traveler feel welcome to their city. I also noticed that they have quite a few employees that do not speak English (or at least speak it very well). Rates were reasonable.

Although this is a small hotel, but we got everything we wanted. The reception staff and manager in charge made us feel very welcome the moment we checked into the hotel! Although we reached the hotel at night, tired after a long drive, but their warm hospitality made us feel comfortable. Room size is small but well equipped with the basic necessities we needed for our two nights stay here. We will definitely be back again if we are visiting Liverpool again!

Excellent hotel in a great location for the city and docks Friendly staff, clean, modern hotel, will definitely stay again. On line check in was simple to use which meant the check in process was very quick

Stayed for two nights, the room was fine and clean however the breakfast offering has to be the worst that I have encountered. The choice was very limited and the quality was extremely poor. Judging by similar reviews this is something that the hotel has no intention of improving. What a shame it could have been so good.

Stayed for 3 nights with 2 teenagers and one 10 year old and myself. This had been stated on the booking form and I requested an extra bed if possible. What we got were two doubles, one large and one small. Would have been great to get double and 2 singles... would have given everyone extra room. Don't like the sliding door to the bathroom which covers the wardrobe too.. necessary in such a small space but not ideal. Card needed to enter lift, gym etc... grand for doors but lifts were a bit hit... Read more

Unfortunately the hotel had a full power cut on the Saturday the 26th.. we had no power, heating etc.. there was also no emergency power/lights in the corridors. We were due to spend Sunday roaming Liverpool, but with no shower and being cold.. went home. Hotel are refunding our money in total which I think is the very least they should do! There response to go that extra and compensate us for a ruined weekend fell on deaf ears.. there response that it was not there fault the power! Poor manage... Read more
