Stayed 7 nights and would definitely return. Very basic but clean, comfortable bed with fantastic water pressure in shower. 3rd floor room (not overlooking James St) was so quiet at night - no sound of traffic or late night revelry at all during major LFC weekend. Right in heart of Liverpool. 5 minutes walk to everywhere - shopping, Albert Dock, Cavern Club, Liverpool One bus station, bars, cafes, pubs and multiple tourist attractions. Staff consistently friendly and helpful. Housekeeping a l... Read more

We were only in Liverpool for 2 nights but this will be my go to hotel for whenever I return. Located right beside the train station and a couple of minutes walk from the bus station, Albert Dock, Cavern Quarter -- doesn't get any more convenient than that. After staying in a very small room for 3 people in London, this room felt huge with a queen bed and a twin. The mattress on the queen looked done it, somewhat soft and saggy, but neither of my friends who slept on it complained. Everythin... Read more

Stayed here on a Friday evening as a couple to use as a base for exploring. Good location close to the Docks and just a 10-15 minute walk from Lime Street Station. Room was clean and modern (only quip was the rather tatty duvet runner at the bottom of the bed and the matching cushion which had seen better days) and mattress far too soft. Staff polite, professional and helpful with any additional queries. Breakfast adequate. Would recommend for an overnight stay but not for longer visits as ... Read more

We got a Groupon voucher which got us 2 nights b & b + a bottle of prosecco for £99. The room was clean and tidy, bed comfortable and it was quiet on an evening. The staff were very friendly and always available to help. The breakfast was basic but cooked well. The location was very good, next door to James St station and a short walk from Albert Dock.

Although the rooms where of a good size and clean, and the hotel itself is in a great location, the awful customer service from reception truly spoilt the hotel. The queue to check in was ridiculous, about 25 people waiting to check in, everyone told that no rooms where ready despite check in being open. Had to wait an hour for room then to go back to reception and be told it would be another hour. Truly ruined our day. However would maybe give it another chance.

In February 2016 me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for two nights to explore Liverpool and do some shopping! The hotel was a bargain price so we weren't expecting much however, the hotel proved us wrong. The staff were lovely, the room was spacious and very comfortable and the bar area was great. The hotel is just a relatively short walk to all the attractions of Liverpool including the Radio Tower and the Liverpool 1 shopping centre. I would reccommend this hotel to anyone!

We stayed here as we were unable to get in at our preferred hotel, 30 James Street.Days Inn is very clean and presentable, but it in no way could be compared to its next door neighbour. Breakfast was fine, though the dining room was very basic. This dining room doubles as the bar, should you want to have a drink in the hotel at night. Cafe tables and chairs are not the norm in a hotel bar. The reception staff were very pleasant, but it was Keith, in the restaurant who stood out. When we asked ... Read more

The hotel was very easy to get to; right beside James St station. Also very close to the docks so was easy to get around. Check In was quick, the rooms were tidy and clean. My only minor comment is that there was no fridge in the room. Otherwise had a great stay. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to run in the Liverpool Rock n' Roll Marathon.

Nice hotel, friendly and helpful staff. Great room, biggest room I've ever stayed in, nice big wet room but could do with a shelf to put shampoos and toothpaste on. Bed was very comfortable and so we're the pillows. My only disappointments was it was an extremely noisey hotel, affected our sleep. Also the resturant isn't really a restaurant it's a bar that serves food, which was also extremely noisey that the barman had to alter my order 3 times before he got it right. We needed a city centre hotel for a flying visit to Liverpool. Very friendly guy on reception (specs, dark hair) made us instantly welcome. Our king room was very good -super clean and had all we required for a one night stay. It is in such a perfect spot - right next to James Street Merseyrail. Maybe the breakfast was a tad lacking - warmish, not hot food, but the selection was good. We'll use Days again when we return to Liverpool.

Six of us stayed in 3 twin rooms which were clean, roomy and comfortable. The location was perfect for all attractions. Staff at Days Inn couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming and amazed us when reception gave us only 3 tickets instead of 6 for the open top bus sent a staff member to find us to deliver them personally, NOW THAT IS GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. I am pleasantly suprised at what a great city Liverpool is and will certainly return one day soon.

We stayed 4 nights as part of a package coach holiday. Whilst the hotel is clean and staff extremely polite and helpful it not suitable for a holiday stay (in my opinion). It is a very basic hotel and, as a party, had to queue for our dinner (like having school meals). Also, there is no separate lounge to enjoy a quiet drink after dinner. However, if you just need somewhere to put your head down and eat elsewhere it is fine. Having said all this there was nothing wrong with the food served ... Read more

No it wasn't really, but everything is about The Beatles in Liverpool ! Had one night here with a friend - the price included a trip on the Mersey & a tour on the Red Bus. We had a fab time - the hotel was new, the room was spotless, beds & bathroom great. Also included was full English breakfast & it really was good. If we ever go back to Liverpool, I won't hesitate to stay here again. It is very central, can walk to everything, staff are good - you can't beat it for price.

This hotel is well placed right at both the town and the docks. I thought it was pricey- £230 for two nights-considering it's at the budget brand end of hotels but the cheapest in Liverpool city centre when I booked. The hotel is clean the room fine all nice and quiet at night and a reasonable breakfast. Check out is 11am a right pain but you can pay for late checkout @ £20 until 2pm. Lovely little welcome goodie bag when I checked in (chocolate, water, map & wifi code). Really friendly helpful staff. Comfy beds. Decaff as well as usual tea and coffee. Nice shower and spotless bathroom. Macmillan coffee morning showed charitable staff (and their baking skills). Unfortunately my room was not serviced on one day but it was sorted quickly.

It's also a 10 minute walk to Cavern Club area, so we found it was a great base for our overnight stay and to see the main sites. Friendly staff & good value for money. Room was modern and clean. Clean hotel and friendly staff. By no means a luxury hotel, but then again it doesn??t pretend to be. The rooms were clean and very ??efficient?? for what they were supposed to be used for (quiet sleep in a comfy bed). The breakfast could have been better, and it seemed that the juice was little watered down with tap water. I??ve never understood why even though the buffet is simple it can??t be well prepared? But great location, close to the docks and down town.
