We stayed here last weekend and loved everything about our stay. The rooms are tastefully decorated, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The cooked breakfast was first class. We didn't have an evening meal but the bar staff made us a sandwich snack, with crisps, side salad and coleslaw, which we ate in the lounge.vWe really enjoyed the whole Liverpool experience, Lots to do and see. I have reviewed this hotel in the past however last Friday was the first occasion when we have eaten in the hotel restaurant so I thought that an update would be appropriate. The hotel has an airy spacious feel about its public rooms. The bedrooms are excellent and we were on the recently refurbished 2nd floor. We stayed here last week for part of my husband's birthday. The hotel was OK.. clean, friendly and the room was nice enough. There were a few little things however that sadly mean I wouldn't stay again. I'd arranged for some beers on ice to be in the room on our arrival (himself preferring that to wine and it being his birthday) the beer was there with a lovely card from the reception team.. but no bottle opener. When we went to ask for one at reception we were told to ask at the bar... Read more

What a beautiful hotel. We were attending a family wedding and we all decided to book rooms. We were all extremely happy with our rooms and the excellent service. The day flowed beautifully. The staff where very kind and attentive. The food was first class both afternoon and nighttime. Morning breakfast was so tasty. We all came down at different times but the gentlemen accomodated us so we were all able to sit together. Again, an excellent breakfast. Well done to the Crown Plaza!!!!!!!!!

My family and I stay in lots of hotels and I must admit I expected the Crowne Plaza to be very much the same as all the rest however I was blown away by the standard in the hotel and in particular the attitudes of EVERY member of staff we have came into contact with during our 2 night stay. We were guests at a family wedding on the Saturday which was handled with a typical 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude and moving into the following day the staff were friendly, chatty and genuinely kind ... This may sound like a criticism of a one off event but it's really about the lack of care and consideration for guests, which can ultimately spoil any holiday. We were in Liverpool for the day and decided to stay the night. Outside there was a cycling event and some of the roads were blocked but, as we checked in, we were told to drive our car from where it was parked and follow the signs for Bootle and do a circuit to a back road to the hotel car park, which was a 3 mile journey. A nice hotel by the river with a large car park, the car park was a bit odd as I couldn't get a ticket as it asked for some key card, I tried to call reception using the help button but no answer, had to wait for someone to open it, a little odd. The hotel is a very nice modern place and the staff are friendly, the rooms are also nice inside, had a room with a sea view.

Located in Prince Dock so all dock area attractions within 5 - 15 minutes walk away. Right beside Liver and Cunard buildings (The Jam Exibition). City centre shopping and Cavern area similar distance away. Met all expectations of Crown Plaza brand, good sized rooms, staff service etc. Very good breakfast choice and quality. Would certainly stay here again and recommend for dock area, if visit is solely for shopping or nightlife would probably stop nearer city centre.

I stayed in this hotel in July-2015. I was excited about being in liverpool and thought that Crowne Plaza would be a nice high-end stay. It was very disappointing. The greeting was warm and as expected. But the room was such a let down. Really dated and a bit dirty. The bed was one that 'pulled out of the wall' which was weird and it took up most of the width of the room. It was also so uncomfortable and was not flat. I stubbed my knee on the edge of the bed with its strange stocking out legs.

Can't recommend this hotel highly enough friendly and courteous staff and a nice treat when they found out it was my birthday. A piece of birthday cake was sent to our room on slate plate and room was spacious and comfortable.

Stayed here when family were going to a concert at the Echo Arena, which is a short 10 - 15 minute walk along the waterfront and through Albert Dock. The hotel itself was very clean and modern, the staff were all very helpful and courteous. We stayed in a family room with 2 double beds and there was plenty of room for 2 adults and 2 grown up (17 yr old) children. Liverpool One, bars and restaurants all in short walking distance and only £11 for 24hr parking at the hotel. If visiting Liverpool a... Read more

We came for 1 night only and really wished we'd stayed for longer. Great check in - felt valued and was given great infomation as our first time in Liverpool. Impressed with the room and comfy bed. Good quality toiletries. Only disappointing thing was tv - as quite bad weather the night we stayed & think the reception suffered. Apart from this small issue really enjoyed our stay. Lovely breakfast too & again great customer service when we checked out. We struck very well on our choice of hotel a... Read more

Is a normal business hotel for Liverpool within the normal prices (maybe a little more expensive). The staff is good, the rooms are fine, the location is good and also as is in the Docks the view is fantastic, but there is a noise outside hotel that never stop. Something like a motor as a electricity generator, A/C compressor, etc. that never stop and the windows are not efficient to isolate the noise. So, with the other similar options in Liverpool maybe is not the best choice to stay

Visited for a pre-Christmas break brilliant location on the very happening Albert Dock area near attractions museums Liver Building Pier Head etc. 5-10 minutes walk to the city centre perfect for all the bars shops and nightlife. Rooms very quiet, comfortable and spacious. Nice views. Great bar, restaurant, spa etc and very friendly helpful staff. Special note of thanks to Mohammed in the Club Lounge. Would stay again if in Liverpool overnight again
