This lovely, Art Deco building is comfortably appointed and has excellent, friendly staff. The food is good, if a little on the pricey side. The bedrooms are nicely furnished and there is a pleasant bar and lounge area. Also, several function and meeting rooms. Guests are always made very welcome and the atmosphere is informal, yet efficient.

A pretty sure good hotel for a short stay. All facilities good and breakfast of decent quality (check if pre paid or not). Only negative is the limited tv channels and a shower that is affected by water pressure (may make you jump around a bit if someone opens a tap in a linked room!).

A great location for business and the airport Hotel itself is stunning and very art deco. Room was large comfortable and quiet Bed was soft and provided a great nights sleep -aided by a pack on the bedside table tat you can spray on the pillow to ease sleep. Food was very tasty - had chicken pie that we rammed Full of meat. Overall a good quality hotel that I will be using in the future

We booked here the night before our flight to the Canaries. It is a lovely building if you appreciate Art Deco. The pro's are; it wasn't expensive for a night, the rooms are comfortable enough, the bar is decent, the bar food is ok, the bar staff are friendly and you have use of the David Lloyd Health Club a few minutes walk away. It is also accessible for wheelchairs and buggies. The cons were; not a great welcome from reception (dour), the room had an interesting odour - not fresh smelling ... Read more

Hotel is just above average, location not ideal if your going shopping in the centre, however it was the only hotel I could get for a reasonable price as it was a late booking. There is a bus that takes you into Liverpool One I think it was the 82/82a? The reception will be able to tell you, the bus stop is literally a minute walk and about 45min journey. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly but not very attentive, especially at breakfast! The 2 mornings I went down they had ran out of nearly ... Read more

Stayed here for one night over the Xmas period, have stayed here before, hence why booked. This time rather disappointed. On arriving into our room, we found the room cold and took a while to heat up. There was a long black hair in the main double bed. At breakfast time found yet another long hair in my cereal. I have short hair so was not one of mine. I asked if they can provide vegetarian sausages for breakfast in which they said yes. Again to my disappointment they had none. They asked is if ... A very sympathetic conversion of the original terminal building has created a lovely hotel. We were upgraded to an executive room, which was very comfortable. Only one lady on reception early in the evening when we wanted to arrange a taxi, so we had to come back. Breakfast was very good.

Worried about the damp in my room only just checked in .... is it too late to move rooms? It's a beautiful 1930s building but looks like it's in need of some roc and some cash . The lift smelt of dirty mop water. Booked here for 2 nights not got a good feeling!

It really is a beautiful art deco hotel but the breakfast was a shambles. We waited 20 minutes to be seated , there was no plates, orange juice butter ,pastries etc ..... the staff worked hard , but there was definitely not enough of them. Worst breakfast experience in any hotel .
