Stayed for three nights on a break to Lincolnshire. The hotel is nicely situated overlooking the marina at Brayford Wharf but is also very close to the city centre. There are plenty of pubs and restaurants close by and sitting on the quayside in the sun was very pleasant. We overlooked the quayside but there was never any noise problem. The room was a reasonable size and well furnished but open hanging space only and surprisingly no drawer space anywhere or storage for small items. Large co... Read more

The hotel is located in an excellent place, downtown along the waterfront. The room was nice, clean and comfortable; the only defects were the view on the parking lot that was on the hotel backside and the morning breakfast, a bit under my expectation. The wi-fi connection was great.

Staff were friendly, the room was clean, although the air-conditioning machine they have left near the window does make quite a bit of noise, making it impossible to have on while sleeping. Rest of the room was fine. Breakfast had a good choice and if you get a cup from reception, you can get discount from the starbucks attached to the hotel. My only tip would be that to get to the car park you need to drive alongside the river, into the section that looks like a pedestrian zone. Th sign sayin... Read more

We only stayed in Lincoln for one night, but the Holiday Inn was really good. Our room was big, and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was clean and well fitted, except that the loo flush would not turn off, and the press button had to be jiggled about to stop the water flow. The shower was excellent, and the bath was clean. Our only real criticism was the lack of net curtains or blinds. We were on the ground floor and looked right out onto Brayford Pool, so anyone passing could easily see i... Read more

My wife & I have just returned from a two night stay Tuesday 31st May - 2nd June at the Holiday Inn Lincoln. We booked a king size room with full breakfast via Superbreak. Overnight parking was £5 per night in the rear car park - payable on check-in. We arrived about 12:30, check-in is after 15:00, so we parked and left our luggage giving us time to explore. Our room overlooked the Brayford and we could witness the boats going up and down. We witnessed the cleaning lady working really hard and she was very cheerful and chatty. An absolute credit to Holiday Inn. The buffet breakfast was, as usual up to its very high standard. Good selection of choices and the food well cooked. Reception staff, polite and courteous, how... Set right on Brayford Wharf, dining room has lovely views out over the water and lots of other eating places within half a mile. Pleasant room, ours faced the car park - rooms overlooking the wharf are available though. Great bathroom with large walk in shower. It's not well signposted from the access road - you drive carefully down the largely pedestrianised waterfront and parking is £5 per night. Firstly, if you follow your sat nav and it takes you down to the riverside, opposite Wagamams in a pedestrian precinct you are in the right place! Just turn right, proceed for 100m and the hotel's on your right. Decent hotel on the riverside with easy access to bars, restaurants and the old part of Lincoln. Decent sized rooms with v large beds are good. Has its own car park (which costs £5/night) is really useful as Lincoln's about to start digging up bits of itself!

can't fault at all, came with comfortable bed, tv, bath/shower, free wi-fi, kettle with with teabags, milk and coffee sachets and cleaned daily by maids. Great location overlooking the Brayford Pool with a handful of quality restaurants and city centre in walking distance. Morrisons supermarket nearby for all your needs. I didn't try the breakfast, feels overpriced, when you can go to nearby Square Sail/Wetherspoons or McDonalds and get a full quality breakfast for less than £5

Just returned from a 2 night stay. The hotel is in a great location on the waterfront with easy access to the town centre and attractions. Plenty of places to eat on the marina. We stayed in a 4th floor room overlooking the marina which was of a good standard. Staff were very friendly and obliging both in reception and at breakfast. The sports bar was good and my children enjoyed the pool and table football!! Thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Recently returned from an overnight stay. Don't use Room 214 until they fix the squeaky bathroom door. very irritating, especially during the night. The rest of the room was OK but I would have liked a shelf or two.

Good quiet room, very clean and friendly staff. Breakfast was great with lots of choice. Ideally located to walk around and explore Lincoln with lots of restaurants close by. They allowed pets too so our dog could stay as well which they were very accommodating about.

A good experience. The room with view of the wharf with moored small boats was very pleasant. The spacious room was well furnished and comfortable and the staff helpful and friendly. The variety of restaurants along the wharf gave a cosmopolitan air of relaxation.

Stayed here for my hen party in August and there were a few issues but once speaking to Manager Charlotte, the issues were resolved quickly. I returned in October and had a fantastic stay and would like to say thankyou to Charlotte for making this possible. The hotel is in a fantastic location on the Brayford. The rooms are good sized and immaculately clean. We had breakfast and dinner in the restaurant, both offered a good selection and food was to a good standard. I would recommend this hote... Read more

We were here for one night visiting Lincoln. Check in was exceptional, the member of staff greated us very politely and explained parking, breakfast etc. She asked if we had visited Lincoln before, we we hadnt, so she told us of places to visit and gave us a map showing where they were. Also she recommended some good restaurants. The hotel is very central and you can walk to the shops and cathedral and Castle if you wish. The room was quiet and comfy and warm (it was a freezing night outside... Read more

My daughter and I visited Lincoln to attend an open day at Lincoln University and stayed at the Holiday Inn on Brayford Wharf. The location was excellent ... a short walk from the railway station and town centre, adjacent to a good selection of restaurants and cafes and with lovely views of the boats on Brayford Wharf. Reception staff were friendly and welcoming, as were the staff in the hotel restaurant at breakfast. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with 2 double beds (which were in... Read more

Was in the Lincoln area for three days on a business trip. The hotel was very clean. Rooms was beautifully made and well equipped with all the items you may require. The staff was all very friendly and welcoming. Road noise was an issue for me. However I sleep really lightly anyway. I could possibly see an issue during the weekend if the hotel was booked by people visiting the city. All in all a good stay and will defiantly return.

Hotel is in an excellent position overlooking Brayford Wharf and only a few minutes walk from the town. It has its own car park which is useful as several car parks in the town were closed due to construction work. The room was fairly standard as expected but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We also had an evening meal as part of our package and found it good value for money.

A very well located hotel next to the new marina. Loads of great places to eat & go shopping. Hotel staff very helpful; great room & good breakfast. Car park is adequate but unlit, so be careful in the dark.

Excellent location close to town and all good eating places and bars! Staff are brilliant particularly Louis and his breakfast team. Lovely "bubby" receptionist greeted us at midday on Friday (sorry - forgot your name) Comfortable rooms with fantastic beds and pillows. Ask for a room with a view of the marina. Incredibly clean and well managed hotel which is reflected by the attitude of the staff.

We were impressed with the size and standard of our King Room. It was modern, clean and comfortable and in our opinion better than similar budget hotels. It was a little cold and a bit annoying that there were no plugs near the bed but hey we survived! Parking to the rear at only £5 is a brilliant selling point. The one thing that I cannot understand is why Holiday Inn are charging so much for breakfast? At nearly £14 each we just could not justify it so popped next door to Harvester for a f... Read more

Great location right on the wharf and access to a myriad of chain restaurants within a couple of minutes walk. Car parking also good and, for me at least, in the rate. Great staff in reception look after you quickly and well. Rooms are a decent size but with an open hanging rail they look a bit scruffy when you move in. Beds are comfortable and I slept pretty well on both nights of my stay. Room misses a couple of little touches such as hot chocolate and biscuits on the tea tray and good qualit... Read more

We booked 3 nights B&B for a pre Christmas break at this conveniently located Hotel on Brayford Wharf, which has its own car park at £5 per night for residents. Pleasant welcome on arrival and able to access room despite arrival being before 3pm. We ate the first night in the Bar, food was good & reasonably priced for a hotel, but the service quite poor, staff had to be reminded about our order after 30 minutes wait & when starter then brought were told our mains were ready & asked if we would ...
