Stayed here for 1 night recently. Hotel is located a short taxi ride from the city. The hotel is clean an comfortable. Sufficient spacious room and amenities. Staff were on the whole very helpful and courteous. The included breakfast buffet was a bit of a 'bun fight' and very congested. Food was again reasonable but nothing to write hone about which is what you would expect for a hotel of this type. The free wifi was useful and worked well and although the overnight parking was chargeable (£5) ... Read more

This hotel is perfect for visiting Lincoln. Walking distance from the town centre, cathedral and castle. It has a big car park which costs 5.00 and well worth it. The hotel is easy to find, has comfortable very clean rooms, the staff were really friendly and the bar was kept open until after 2am with no groans. Didn't make it to breakfast but if the rest of my stay was anything to go by, I'm sure it was great! I paid 59.99 for a double room which was tremendous value. Definitely recommend this h... Family of four stayed on Boxing Day. Good location, easy to walk into town and the main shopping/restaurant areas. We had a good spacious room with a large comfy double bed and a double sofa bed. Tea/coffee provided in room with making facilities. Nice clean shower room (no bath) with soaps/gels provided in dispensers. Breakfast was nice, ran out of items but replenished frequently and we did turn up at the busiest time. We would definitely stay again.

Perfectly located for the City attractions. Very comfortable, clean rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. Was worried that there may be noise from the traffic but this was not a problem at all, although we were on the 4th floor. Breakfast was good (except for the sausages which were pretty poor). Parking was £5 a day but not bad given the location. Very pleasant stay.

Had a really peaceful night here, I came with a friend for a birthday treat. All you can eat breakfast, a lift and parking. There some really nice food places near by and if you don't mind walking it's about twenty minutes walk to the centre. There is a castle and a chapel that you can look around and a museum. Lovely picturesque place to visit.

Sited on a busy road junction, with associated traffic noise. Helpful staff being let down by the building, problems with the heating system, they had to provide plug-in heaters for some rooms, although the weather was quite mild. Hot water was hit and miss. Breakfast included, but a bit like a hostel, help yourself system They also charge extra for parking, and given that they are a good distance from the Train and Bus stations, this is annoying.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Lincoln for a few days whilst the Christmas Market was on. We were on the 6th floor and the room was small but comfortable. The bed was comfortable with crisp white linen and a choice of pillows. The sofa bed made watching TV easier! For a modern hotel the heating was a bit disappointing as was the temperature and water pressure of the shower. We mentioned this at reception and it was passed on to their engineer. ( I don't know if it had anyt... Read more

I've stayed at this chain in the UK and US and you always know what to expect. The staff were super friendly. WiFi is free and pretty fast. I arrived on a Sunday night and there was plenty of parking available which I had been a little worried about. It costs £5 a night but make sure you register your number plate with reception so that you don't receive a penalty fee. The evening and light bites menu here was more varied than I expected which was a bonus.

I may have no right to comment on this occasion as our stay was gratis from points earned from visit to group hotels from the Middle East to San Francisco but apart from the holiday inn Jeddah this is the most disappointing stay I've had. No member greeting on check in, no offer of complimentary wifi, no service in the bar at 9pm despite two customers waiting and only one staff member on the desk all be it he was busy. No trays available at breakfast apparently they are no longer supplied??? And... Read more
