I stayed 3 nights for business trip this was my first time The hotel building is moderne The room was correct The gym and swimming pool very good quality I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant so I don't know the quality There is big reception very good for have a drink The only reason I don't give 5 to the rating is the executive lounge which was not what I experienced in other Marriotts The breakfast is sort of ok but the diner was very limited not lot of choices The Marriott team were pr... Arrived early but my room was ready, used the Marriott app to check in which is great. Met by May on reception who was so professional and welcoming. Had a top floor room 501 which was an outside corner room is was so quiet and was just like home from home. Visited the pool and sauna area which was very, very clean. Had dinner in the Mixx restaurant which was lovely and great value for money. Breakfast excellent, kippers and full English. Just a superb stay, Marriott you made myself a... Read more

I train in many locations in the UK and this sets an excellent standard for facilities. The staff are very helpful- especially Mohammed one of the "red coats" and the rest of the team. Delegates are always impressed with the food provided and the location is fantastic due to its central location. It would be eveb better with free high speed wifi in the guest rooms.

If you have a need to go to Leicester, then I would highly recommend this hotel. It is comfortable, well laid out and internally pleasing on the eye. A note of caution is that it is large and does attract large gatherings. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. I had a quad room, but note in America this would be classed as a twin. Food was good. Well designed bar, but lacked a good range of drinks and service was a little slow.

This is an excellent hotel, very clean and well presented as well as friendly and helpful staff who even spent 20 minutes helping booking us a taxi on a busy bank holiday weekend. Room was fairly decent size not the biggest but more than reasonable, bar was nice. Overall excellent experience will definitely return one day :)

Booked a Be Your Weekend Yourself' deal. Staff as ever are always were keen to help and are very friendly. The consierge 'Terry' is a lovely, friendly, well informed member of staff. Never forgets a face and is willing to go the extra mile to make your stay a pleasant one. Thank you Marriott Staff for a wonderful weekend.

Well on the road again and this is one place which makes life difficult! The hotel looks easy to get to, don't be fooled! After coming off the motorway take the exit and immediately keep left, there is a sign saying hotels but no details of which one. Keep left at the next roundabout and through the next set of lights move to the right lanes at the next set of lights, the place is in the business park so turn into the business park and take a right at the roundabout and head to the end of the ... As hotels go, I'm really struggling to fault this one. Modern décor, large, airy rooms, comfy beds and the most accommodating, friendly staff I've ever encountered. My children received welcome packs and the promise of treats when they visited the reception, atrium bar, restaurant and leisure facilities. They were showered with sweets, drinks and hot chocolate as well as some other free of charge cheeky little extras. They loved it. The pool was lovely. The gym provides extra towels, lockers... I stayed one night for a conference with a group of people but have regularly visited for day conferences. At day events the buffets served are fabulous. I was very disappointed to be given an interior room overlooking the atrium which was dark, claustrophobic and no opening windows. In fact I decided if they wouldn't change it I would drive 30 miles home rather than stay in that horrible space. However, the very pleasant young lady did manage to switch me to a top floor outside room which was... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel many times and every time I am made to feel special. The service from the staff is exemplary, not once have I noticed the staff not doing anything, if they are not serving hotel guests they are tidying anything that is not in its correct place. A special thanks to the staff who operate in the Executive lounge, Lenka and Charlie on several occasions I am a guest at the hotel with no other colleagues with me, every time I visit the lounge Lenka or Charlie always greet m... We took the upgrade we were offered at £25 per night and it was worth it in every way. Modern, spacious, quiet room. Very comfortable bed and use of the executive lounge. Very helpful, friendly staff. We were able to extend the room until 1.30 as we had a late afternoon flight. I really can't think of anything to complain about except perhaps maybe a shower door instead of a curtain round the bath?

I have been once previously to this hotel for a conference. This time was no different. The staff wee excellent and very helpful, even at 2am on a morning when the fire alarm went off for about 12-15 seconds. I was out of bed, bare footed in my dressing gown, heading down a corner fire escape. That took a few moments, but no sign of fire. Turning a corner to the frontage of the hotel were some very late night smokers enjoying a 'Fag' and the fresh air. I looked into the entrance, all appeared ca... Read more

About a year ago I started having regular business trips to Leicester and decided to check the Marriott, which proved a great decision; the hotel is very conveniently located close to the M1 and the business / shopping parks of Leicester. It has very good amenities, an outstanding lobby, a well-fitted gym / spa; the rooms are very comfortable, spacious, quiet and the service is outstanding. Reception and restaurant staff are particularly professional: friendly yet very polite, helpful and effici... Read more

I have stayed here on multiple occasions on business and it is by far one of my favourite hotels to stay in. The rooms are spacious, and the beds are ridiculously comfortable!! I like how the rooms are equipped with just about everything you could need; iron, ironing board, safe, a generous amount of coat hangers as well as a full range of good quality toiletries. A nice touch for me is the biscuit in the room. Sounds silly, but I've stayed in a lot of hotels ranging across various star ratin... Read more

This place is easy to find - 5 mins off J21 M1 and well signposted. Parking is easy too. The staff are helpful and the dinner and breakfast are of a good standard, as are the rooms. It's popular as a conference venue. The only downside is £9.99 for 24hrs internet access in your room (free in the lobby - but who wants to sit the lobby all night?). You might expect that in 2006 but not now, when the majority of other places offer if for free.

Stayed for an overnight and two day set of meetings. Professional, stylish, clean. Great environment for a business meet. Rooms were large and comfortable - took awhile to suss the aircon settings to get right temp but otherwise perfect and a good nights sleep.

Lovely hotel very open and airy - rooms were good standard and locations is near retail park of shops but the road system is a bit confusing and if you take a wrong turn you end up in roundabout and traffic light hell. Would recommend if you want to be near the town centre but not actually in it.

I stayed for a business conference. Everything was well organised, clean with helpful friendly staff. Great variety of breakfast. Only downside was challenging aircoditioning which seemed to reset itself part way through the evening meaning it was very warm. We were upgraded to an executive room which was very nice but as it opened onto the atrium it meant we couldn't open any Windows meaning the temperature was even more uncomfortable. It didn't spoil the stay however.

Marriott really delivered, very pleased with the team. Check-in was as agreed (so good communication internally). Attitude; polite, professional and very helpful. Special mention to the Mixx/Breakfast Team; yes the food was of a great standard, but the management and team members really made it. Efficient greeting, topping up the items running low, clearing tables and resetting. Good to see at its busiest a manager helping the team with tables, no shouting just very controlled and organised. I stayed here for one night as we had a works conference at the hotel that day. We are always looked after well from a work point of view. We had dinner in our conference room which was very nice followed by a few drinks in the foyer bar. The hotel is very clean and fresh with large comfortable rooms. Breakfast is a buffet style but very good. All in all a good stay.

Having previously only stayed in Leicester once at the Premier Inn, this was well worth the £30 extra. We opted for the weekend break which I believe was on offer for £99 for the night for 2 adults, which included breakfast. It is well worth including the breakfast in your deal as they charge £15 per adult otherwise and although it's plentiful and delicious, no breakfast is worth that price. The room was lovely and clean with a superking size bed. The air con worked very well on the hot day a... Read more

Stayed 2 nights for work and felt as if I was staying with a caring relative. Had major toothache whilst staying in the hotel so ordered room service. After nearly an hour I phoned to see where the food was as it hadn't arrived. This is where the caring service started and I spoke to an amazing lady called Angela. The conference facilities were very good with a nice selection of drinks and snacks provided throughout the day. The food provided in the restaurant was of a good standard but I cannot comment on the prices as this was included in the conference package. Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable. Probably not the best place for a leisure break due to its location.
