We had 3 rooms for various family branches, slightly disappointed that they were all on different floors despite being booked well ahead of time, but it was a very busy weekend before Christmas with several functions going on which did make it seem loud and crowded and we had no option than all sitting in one of our rooms to talk. The restaurant is pricey so we walked a short distance to a family chain restaurant nearby to eat instead. Beautifully clean, lovely rooms and a nice pool for a dip we... Read more

I have stayed at this hotel on many occasions. It is in a good location for the major motorways etc. However, when I arrived for my stay last night (I had pre-booked a month earlier), it was obvious that a large party had booked in and they had been given all the best rooms. However, I wasn't worried because I had already pre-booked. Not so...It seems that couldn't find my booking, and were not trying hard to help until I produced my pre-booking number. There was then a lot of running around and... Read more

One night stay after the Leicester Tigers New Years Day match, unable to check in early due very busy and late previous night,s activities (!) but staff very helpful with storing our bags, parking up the car and arranging a cab to the match. On return very much quieter, checked straight in, room large clean and welcoming. Restaurant was closed for the evening but we were made welcome in the lobby and food and wine were very good. Resisted the inviting looking pool next morning but the Restaurant... Read more

I stayed here as my usual hotel was fully booked and I have stayed here in the past. Whilst the outside of the hotel is extremely impressive, as is the public atrium, the hallways and bedrooms look a bit tired. The bedroom was big and the bed huge. I don't think the rooms have been updated in quite some time and they and the bathrooms have a slightly dated feel about them. Though I was impressed with the power of that shower, it nearly took my skin off and I love that! The restaurant staff were ... Read more

We visited here on Christmas day for our Christmas dinner and we were not disappointed one bit!! It was our first time not cooking ourselves on Christmas day. Welcomed on arrival with champagne, Bucks fizz and orange juice, then each party was seated individually. The food was truly delicious, I can't praise them enough for the taste, presentation, and quality of the food. It was served piping hot and I loved that each table was served individually and you didn't feel rushed between courses. Se... Read more

We stayed 1 night in December and the room was spotlessly clean and a great size. The room was quiet and warm and had all the necessities we needed including a mini fridge and bath. The Hotel bar was pricey but the service was great. Reception staff were really helpful and as I was unwell with a headache found me a room in a very quiet spot. No negatives to say.... for a 1 night stay it was lovely!!

We booked this hotel at the last minute directly with the hotel as we had some special requirements. The hotel staff offered same price as online and accommodated all out requests. When we arrived at the hotel, the staff we extremely helpful even providing a wheelchair to help and bring out extra staff to check in so we did not have to wait. The room had 2 double beds, was very clean and provided coffee, tea making facilities. The bar in the foyer was spacious and the service excellent. They all... Read more

Stayed here recently and booked online. When we arrived we were greeted by the Reception Staff and offered an accessible room as I am in a wheelchair it was equivalent to the Executive room we had booked with plenty of extra room for the wheelchair. Room was excellent. Comfy bed. Luxury toiletries, dressing gown and slippers. Coffee maker and complimentary tea and coffee. There was also bottled water and a jar of sweets. Breakfast was self service and plentiful. Would recommend as a stop over. T... Read more

Just returned from a weekend in Leicester, staying at the Marriott hotel Excellent stay helpful, friendly staff, good size rooms exception standard of hygiene Very varied choice for breakfast nothing too much trouble If I have one very small criticism it was how cold the changing area in the leisure area was so much so we decided against swimming on the second day of our stay
