A clean, quiet, well organised and friendly hotel. Yes this hotel is a little tired and could do with investment but should be rated against other budget hotels and this is better than most. Yes it doesnt do food other than breakfast at the weekend but it clearly advertises this so fairs fair, you should know this when you book. Rooms are clean, large and comfortable with tea and coffee facilities with a good quality TV.

This hotel was quite surprising on the outside it looked a bit run down or unloved . but on the inside it was clean and tidy and quite welcoming . Our room was a bit of a walk to the far end of the building and when we got got there, there was no lighting. The room was well proportioned,a good size double bed and a good size bathroom,it was clean and tidy my only complaint would be not enough pillows but I'm sure if I had asked I would of got another one,as the multi national staff where very ... This Hotel and I use the word loosely.... had been booked by a third party as on this occasion the trip was business... Upon arrival the organisation at reception poor. The receptionist appeared to have little clue and twice changed room numbers..... Whilst walking to my room which was quite some walk it is was clear that the hotel could do with a makeover. The walls appeared marked in places and the carpet a little threadbare... Quick shower and to dinner. Half the menu was not available, as... Read more

First time stay. Professional service at reception and at the restaurant, cannot fault at all. Executive room as very clean and good standard. Breakfast was excellent, hearty and well presented. Location for walking into the village is great. Evening meals are good value (cheap), but microwaved plastic food. Will stay again as good access to Lutterworth.

Never have I ever felt the need to write a review of a hotel or restaurant before but I'm absolutely disgusted with the state of this Hotel. It's dated and falling apart, it looks neglected. I was presented with my key card on arrival and it took 3 walks back to reception due to a faulty card and not once did I receive an apology from the staff member. The room I was put in had no actual light fittings so the only light I had in the room whilst getting ready was by a pointless lamp situated 2 ... Read more

This hotel is well situated for Leicester and district, the Staff are friendly and the breakfast has a good choice, however the rooms are very tired, mine had a new bathroom suite, but the toilet lid was split around the edge, and the bath was too slippery too use as there was not a rubber mat, the curtains on both windows were hanging off the rail and would not pull properly, they were of good quality, just needed some TLC. The carpet in one place was threadbare, having said that I was only ... Read more

Tidy hotel. We arrived about midnight having been to Download festival. Rooms were clean and pleasant and comfortable. Inc. TV (limited stations) tea and coffee facilities. Only minor problem I had was that hot water took an age to come through to the basin (which I forgot to mention to the management) but the shower was fine. Would I stay there again? Yes, if I was in the area.

My fiance' and i were invited to a wedding reception yesterday, we were given a nice welcome when we first arrived, and given our room key etc. We had a superior room, which we found clean, roomy and quite nice. We both slept soundly after a good evening discoing etc,( only thing was not enough pillows, fiance' had to use a cusion under pillow). This morning we went across the way for breakfast, room was nice and plenty of choice. i had a coffee to start, and i got fiance' a tea. The coffee wasn't v... Read more

Me & my new husband held our wedding reception here on Saturday the 18th of June 2016 and would just like to say how amazing it was from start to finish. Richard (the events coordinator) has been brilliant from day one with any questions, queries or requests we've had. Dipesh (the owner) has also been beyond helpful - even driving our hapless best man to the nearest Next shop on the morning of the wedding to get the security tags taken off his suit jacket! The waitresses were fab on the day - sm... Read more

Hotel was ok, room was clean. Sadly the swimming pool was empty! Restaurant was basic but food wasn't bad. The waitress was lovely and could not do enough for you. Basically a hotel for working away from home.

Booked a single room for one night, it was small and a bit scruffy, but clean, OK for the single night but would not want to stay in it again. Shower was a bit hit and miss with the flow and temperature. The restaurant was clean and the waitress good however the menu was uninspiring and the execution poor.

The place looked tired and really needs an uplift. The bedroom we had was clean, but reminded me of Travelodge decor before they had their uplift. Now you know where their furniture went. The place is massive - but nobody was in the place!! Why was it so empty when this is peak time? It certainly isn't the cost per night. The gym was closed for use on a Saturday afternoon and evening. The indoor swimming pool is now empty and now used as a dumping area. Lights are hanging down from the corrid... Read more

I stayed for one night and found the service to be disinterested. The room was shabby and cold. The bed was sagging. The decor outdated. The bathroom was large and clean. I was overcharged for meals and the promised call back from a manager did not materialise. The room I was in was near to the gym and so was noisy. The car park was full of potholes and litter. It wasn't the worst place I've stayed but I wouldn't stay again.

Leaving motorway M69 coming from north Blaby Westfield house hotel is within easy reach from the motorway. This old traditional hotel is beautifully tucked away off the main road. You can easily miss if you are hastily speeding through. Hotel has nice little frontage with small car park in the front. Within its little garden has benches outside to enjoy the love of sunshine and the cool breeze. Looking at the hotel front, on the right, the road leads to good size car park with extensive newly bu... Read more

Well, where to start?...... The staff we did see were polite and pleasant, a small positive. Food: overcooked, greasy, frozen veg, brown lettuce..... when pointed out we were refunded for our veg (which, incidentally you have to pay for extra for!)..... Room Card: had to be reactivated as it wasn't pointed out to us it deactivates when put near any mobile device, such as my mobile phone in my handbag..... Wi-fi: more elusive than the Scarlett Pimpernell. Not visible on any of our 3 devices, neve... Read more

The hotel is old & tired. Our room was ok but mattresses had stains on them one right through to the other side. No mattress protectors so the buttons on the mattress stuck in you all night. No indoor pool or spa it looked derelict. We stayed a Saturday night thinking we'd eat at the restaurant but it's closed Friday & Saturdays and we weren't told. I wouldn't recommend this hotel at all.

Hotel was clean and tidy and staff were very friendly. Unfortunately however there was no wifi at all in my room, and no hot water on one of the nights during my stay, making my visit overall a disappointment.

yes this hotel is a little dated, but that is nice, the hotel was clean, the receptionist,a spanish lady was very polite and helpful, the bedroom was large and the bed very comfortable, there was plenty of hot water,i would not hesitate to use this hotel again, sure it is not like the marriott or the hilton, but at a third of the price it is outstanding value for money

This hotel is very outdated and way overpriced. I had booked my staff and myself a room there for a week. Never in my life have seen a hotel who turns their heaters off, in the winter between (13:00-16:00) they think it's acceptable due to most people being out at work. The also turn the heaters off at 01:00-04:00 am, for people who were working from the hotel who did not have a say in the matter at all. No matter how many jumpers I put on it was so cold, every time I had asked if they could ... Read more
