I seem to spend every other weekend in a Holiday Inn, so I'm getting to know the drill. This one is a low built unstylish structure (with loads of free parking), that's in very good condition. Public bar and dining area a little too bland for my tastes (poor generic beer selection, and a dining area that looks more breakfast area (it doubles as the Breakfast area) also only serves until 9pm). Bedrooms located on a number of long corridors located behind reception, Rooms very good, nice shower a... Read more

the room we stayed in for one night cost us £49 for 2 people and this included breakfast which i thought was rather cheap. Well we both would definitely recommend the hotel as it is good quality for money and the breakfast is really tasty and also all you can eat. the room was basic but clean and more than what we expected for the price so i would definitely recommend to anyone staying in leeds on a budget. Also there is a TGI fridays close which is also a great factor too

Very conveniently situated and with plenty of parking!! After a 5-hour drive we were looking forward to a bit of relaxation and a pre-dinner soak as I had booked a room with a bath and shower. Check-in was fine and we made a dinner reservation, but it was a bit of a trek to the room with our luggage (no porter?) - down the stairs, along the corridor, up the stairs, through the doors, along the corridor etc. The double room was very small with hardly enough room to swing a cat!! We booked this hotel as my family (wife, two daughters, 9 and 7) and I went to the test match at Headingley. We chose this hotel as Garforth has a railway station (5 minutes drive from the hotel, with free parking all day) only 10-15 minutes from Leeds and then one change and another 10 minutes to Headingley Station. We wanted somewhere with parking and a quiet, non city-centre location. Arrived around 9pm after a 5 1/2 hour journey and were greeted, checked in and all amenities explained in ... Read more

This hotel is operated by a franchisee called Kew Green and it follows the pattern set by other hotels that they operate: exceptionally helpful and welcoming staff but a property showing its age and in need of some investment. Overall the convenient and quiet location close to the motorway network, helpful staff and reasonably priced rooms make this a good compromise for me. The high points for me were: the staff who from check in to departure made the stay a pleasure; decent buffet breakfast a... Read more

Quite a good hotel really, we never used the leisure facilities as we were only there a few hours for an evening wedding reception but saw there was a smallish swimming pool and smallish Gym. There is a large bar just within the main entrance which is also next to the restaurant. We had roon 72 which was quite a distance from the reception and the room was really small, though after looking at the fire plan on the back of the bedroom door ,our room seemed to be the smallest in the wing we were in.... I stayed here for three nights with a group of friends on a motorcycle tour of Yorkshire, Ideally placed for just about everywhere in the region, and without the usual noise associated with a city centre hotel. My room was spotlessly clean and comfortable, no bath but a big walk-in shower instead. I chose to leave the do-not-disturb sign on the door on Saturday morning as I'd left in a hurry, but on Sunday the room was serviced and it was exactly as when I arrived on Friday Two gripes - good ... Operated by Kew Green, the hotel is some distance away from Leeds City Centre, but it is ideally located in a quiet area just off the Garforth roundabout. On entering the hotel, it has an open plan structure nicely set out, and everywhere looked to be in good decorative order. As you enter through the front doors. I immediately received a warm welcome by the receptionist, and the pattern of making me feel welcome was followed by other members of the restaurant team. the bar is large with neatly... Read more

Stayed on business now five times on business with colleagues. Firstly a positive. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Can't fault them and will.do all they can to help. The rooms are decent enough and well equipped. The food, however, is consistently poor and the view shared by most of my colleagues. Doesn't appear to be a one off as fried foods seem to be overdone. A party of us stayed for a few nights at the Holiday Inn, Garforth. Our room was at the back and was quiet. Our rather old bathroom has yet to be renovated, but it had everything we needed, except for a mat to stop us slipping in the bath, so we improvised with standing on a small wet towel. Our fellow guests were mostly in rooms with newly renovated modern bathrooms. The room itself had a double bed, which was rather small by modern standards, there was plenty of room for a larger bed. ... Read more

Quite a good hotel, rooms are clean and modern with air conditioning. Staff are very pleasant and seem to treat all customers with the same respect. I found the food quite expensive and the menu a bit restrictive. Generally a good hotel but with room to improve. Four star accommodation? Perhaps three plus. I travel extensively throughout the world so perhaps I'm expecting too much from the star ratings? Mostly I stay in the USA and the Holiday Inn is part of a group of hotels and classed as just... Great welcome and really friendly staff. We had a lovely night sleep in a comfy bed in a clean and modern room. Even though there was a Christmas party happening within the hotel we didn't hear a thing and staff were clearly really well organised with a separate temporary bar in another near by section of the hotel. Really tasty breakfast in the morning with lots of choice and very helpful and attentive staff. Would definitely recommend a stay here, we'd go back again. Thanks guys.
