Stayed here for a weekend in May, lovely rooms complementary red wine and bottled water, robes slippers and chocolates on the bed, all very nice. Came here with the NDCS yab team. what a lovely and friendly hotel. staff couldn't have been any more attentive. The hotel has great facilities. The breakfast was amazing . If your arriving by train it's a very short walk and by car it's easy to find with both inside and outside parking for those with day vans 2m+ you'll be ok.

Stayed on the 2nd floor as part of a party of 50 for two nights, room was really nice but far too hot, air conditioning does next to nothing and the windows barely open. Breakfast was brilliant especially our 2nd morning when the bacon was crispy. Staff were really nice and attentive. 10 minute walk to the city centre

Four S's rating for this hotel SLEEP (Good Comfortable Bed) - Bed okay but not the best for comfort: SHOWER (Good powerful Shower) - Not the best but not too bad: SOUND (Soundproofing and Blackout) - Quiet room but Blackout could have been better: SHIVER (Powerful and Controllable Aircon) - Aircon poor and felt underpowered. So Nice hotel and a 2.5 S rating out of 4, Good location a little bit outside town. Would stay again

Was there in a group. It's a nice hotel, staff friendly and helpful. Note: on site parking cost extra. Anyway, I was the only one who packed a onesie. Which my friends found hilarious. In May? Oh yes, I am aware some hotels turn off heating in British Summer Time. I also know BST can include frost. So I was toasty warm, but my friends turned on the 'heating' after a cold night out in the Leeds rain, wearing skimpy LBDs, Laboutins and not a brolly of string vest between them. So back at the hote... Read more

Lovely Hotel, Very clean and welcoming with very pleasant staff on reception and the room attendants. Shame there are no Spa treatments done on a Monday, can,t understand why. I went to the pool area and it was delightful, clean, spacious and very relaxing. The only downside was the staff on the Spa desk. Never looked up, explained the layout or that you needed £1 for the locker. When leaving the Spa area there was 3 staff at the desk and no-one looked up, acknowledged us or asked if we had en... Stayed 1 night as part of a group of 6. Items missing from rooms but very helpful staff corrected quickly once informed. Rooms generally clean (would mark 8/10) but starting to show signs of aging a little also. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Located just a 10 minute walk from the train station and city centre so helped to minimise the city noise at night enabling a good nights sleep. Would use this hotel again but would be looking for 'Special Offer' rates.

Not too much to say, for this one - great location with on site parking (but charged at £15.00 I think for the night which seems a little steep). Reception was polite and quick. Room is a little dated, the carpet had what appeared to be a poorly covered cigarette burn. TV had an EPG which didn't work. I hadn't checked before arriving about the leisure facilities so I didnt use them but they looked good. Breakfast was very very good.

I stayed here in August on a work trip, and am a regular user of Crown Plaza's wherever I go. Firstly it was further than I thought from the station, but is a simple walk and takes about 10 mins (along a busy main road though). The hotel is beautiful in the reception area and the spa is great. The rooms however are a little tired, not in a way that affected my stay but you could see that they are due for updating. I stayed here for one night on a work trip to Leeds. I won't stay again as overall it offered poor value for money. Leeds doesn't have a great reputation as decent mid-range hotels go but the Crowne Plaza Leeds is a bit of an embarrassment to the brand. Even if they tore the name off and replaced it with Premier Inn or Travelodge you'd feel cheated because at least those other places tend to be new, fresh and clean. The room was fairly small and drab, but functional I suppose, with desk, safe, ... Read more

Me and my partner visited here for afternoon tea at £46, the server was lovely however 5 minutes into our meal two workmen turned up and started to do some work on the ceiling I think it was electrical work, they we making a racket drilling and also singing along to the background music (badly). Also the bread was a little stale, I believe it had been sat out for a while. You would think that if people are paying £46 for this meal they would not have work men in ruining the atmosphere
