We had a very uncomfertable night in the hotel as it was too warm and we had to sleep with the window open. Apparently the whole of the 1st floor was like this. The staff at the reception were helpful on giving advice on local attractions. I cannot say the same for the leisure club I was not given a warm welcome. I have stayed at this hoel before and apart from the discomfert of the heating it was good value.

I have visited this hotel a few times before, the last being several years ago and under different ownership when it was looking quite a tired hotel. This visit was primarily to bring my father back to his hometown to be part of Hull being the 2017 year of culture. We stayed for two nights. The layout of the hotel was new and the reception bright and modern, the check in was fine and as were were booked in for the New Years Eve meal we were directed to a desk who were taking our orders for our f... Great location for marina, city centre & also walking distance to KC stadium. We had 2 rooms for our party of 5. The second room looked newly refurbished & was very modern! Our room was very old fashioned, however it was clean, comfortable & very quiet given its location on a busy road. There was also a wedding in the hotel one night - we were expecting lots of noise, the only noise heard by our party on the marina side of the hotel was the fog horn but thats to be expected!

Disappointed with this hotel really. The public areas are quite spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly. The bedroom though was decidedly plain, and felt dated. I had a room with a balcony over the marina, except that you couldn't open the door to get out on to it! What's the point of a balcony without the access to it?! The breakfast I'm really sorry to say was one of the worst I've had in a long time. After ordering coffee, the waiter then forgot about it. It arrived late an... Read more

I have just returned from this hotel, where I stayed with my husband for one night. LOCATION The hotel is in a fairly central location, across a busy main dual carriageway to the Princes Quay shopping centre. It is set on hull marina, near to The Deep aquarium. It has its own private car park priced at £7 a day, but we were never asked to pay this. The hotel is easy to find as it's on the main road into Hull. ROOM Our room had 2 single beds, 2 comfy chairs & a small table. The beds were a ... Read more

On arrival receptionist not very welcoming. Executive room had a lovely view over the Marine, quilt cover did have a hole in it, not good. Car parking overpriced. Had food in the Restaurant , excellent good choice for all, serving staff efficient especially the mature male sorry didn't get his name , had a Hull accent, loved his sweets , lovely man. On checking out our bill was wrong, soon rectified by the not so welcoming receptionist . Would of rated excellent had she been more friendly.

The staff were really good we had an executive room not sure that was worth the money the bed was barely a king size and the quilt only just fitted. The bathroom could have been cleaner at first glance it looked clean but I'm a bit particular and felt it had just had a once over. On the whole would recommend just me being picky. Hull is a great place and the people are wonderful and friendly.

We stayed here for 2 nights over the Year of Culture 2017 celebrations. As expected, it was extremely busy but we were booked in ahead of time. We were given a marina view room, which was lovely. The reception staff were efficient and friendly. When we arrived the weather was awful and Hull looked very sad. However, the hotel was warm and welcoming. The room was lovely. Two comfy chairs and coffee table and twin beds. The decor was well maintained. There are plentiful tea and coffee making faci... Read more

Sometimes chain hotels can be cold and unfriendly, but this place was warm and welcoming on a cold and wet weekend. The rooms were fine and clean with all you expect from this chain. Comfy beds and clean bathrooms. Breakfast was good and plentiful. My only criticism was the fresh fruit. There was grapefruit and oranges but the fruit salad was also full of oranges - not good for folks with arthritis. Bacon was brilliant.

We stayed here for a night. The reception staff were lovely - very welcoming and friendly. The room was a standard hotel room with all of the usual facilities. Very clean and the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows if needed. Free wifi too. Breakfast was Buffett style with full English option or serial and lovely, cheerful staff. All in all, a great stay and we will definitely be returning. Lovely view over the marina too and free car park.
