We used this hotel for an overnight stay while visiting friends. I have to say for the money it was great value. We paid £43.00 for on night, found on a popular website. Overnight parking in their own on-site multi-storey car park was only £7.00, which considering its proximity to the airport was also good. The ability to walk straight through to reception from the car park with bags, shirts, etc was also very useful. While the room was compact, it was clean, tidy and well presented (we liked ... I stayed here 1 night. The website not very helpful on how to get there from Gatwick Airport or that there is a £3 charge each way for the transfer. Reception staff were uninterested - there were 3-4 people ahead of me and 2 staff, but 1 receptionist told everyone waiting that they couldn't help because they were just finishing! Not great service at all. My room was cold, but was clean. Location it's good for gatwick but still allow 40 minutes for the bus to the terminal as it goes on a circula... Read more

Arrived very tired after a late flight having pre-booked. Irritated to see that much of my room was taken up by a made-up child bed which left the room very cramped. Room looks as though it hasn't been renovated in a very long time. Very dated with discolored bathroom fittings. Hadn't been cleaned properly and previous occupant's soiled underwear was hanging from the back of the luggage rack. Too tired to ask to be moved but mentioned my concerns about cleanliness the next morning. Never again.

I was checked in by a very severe eastern european girl, no smile. My room number was announced and anyone in the vicinity would have heard. As a lone female I did not appreciate this. Then I couldn't get into my room - the key card has conflicting instructions - ?nsert card"and "swipe card down". I had to return to reception where correct use was explained. The whole hotel is quite shabby - the bath had a big stain down the centre and various housekeeping tasks had been missed. The pillows wer... Read more

We booked for one night to be close to the airport because of an early check in. This hotel was half the price of neighbouring ones. £90 for a room for five. The rooms were perfectly OK for a budget hotel. Fairly small, clean and comfortable. The en-suite was fine and clean and functional - the TV worked, we were on the third floor right next to the lift but didn't hear a sound all night and all had a good nights sleep. The staff weren't rude but were hardly going to fall over themselves either... Read more

The room and location is good so if that's all you're after then it's fine, perfect for the airport as the transfer pick up is just outside. Customer service is not great however, not the friendliest of places and not very helpful. Also, WiFi is limited, so probably not good for those who need to work. Also, there is a fun chair in reception but you're not allowed to sit on it for display purposes only - why have it (it's not a posh hotel so a plant would be better for display purposes - I wa... Booked one night BB with parking at purple parking through Holiday extras as a very good price . Hotel is tired but clean . Room was very good , 3 sharing so a triple room . Ate in Harriet's in the evening , would not bother in the future, there was a set 3 course menu that seemed better value for money than eating of the main menu - which was more expensive. We arrived about 7pm and were shattered after a long drive so thought we would do the 2 course meal and a glass of wine for £30. Wish we hadn't bothered!! We had a very early flight, so booked into the Airport Inn at Gatwick and were very pleased we did. Very clean and comfortable room with everything we needed. Minutes from the terminal. Would definitely stay here again. We used the shuttle bus service on the way out, but hopped in a taxi on our return and this only cost £8 and took minutes, we waited longer for the taxi than the actual journey.

The highlight of this hotel is the STAFF. They're extremely helpful and friendly, despite being constantly abused by the usual complainers that can be found among any group of travelers. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH. The rooms are basic but the price is not bad for being walking distance (25 mins, suitcases not recommended) to the airport. Breakfast is mediocre and expensive. Stayed here for one night before flying from Gatwick early in the morning. *This* is what you use these hotels for: trip from central London to Gatwick takes one hour, at least, and if you have an early flight, better staying close to the airport. We booked a family room, which is twice (20 sqm) the size of a regular double (8 sqm), for a slightly higher price. Family rooms accommodate (at least) 4: there is a reasonable double bed + a bunk bed for 2. (Other hotels nearby become very expensive w... Read more

£7 a day for parking and there are no spaces despite having a multi storey car park. If you are lucky enough to get a space you then have to queue to get a token from reception to get out of the car park. Would never book here again as the lack of parking spaces is too much hassle. £7.00 per day is outrageous given the facilities.

As our flight was delayed, we knew we would arrive late in Gatwick, therefore we've booked a last minute room close to the airport. Even knowing, that our choice was not the best, at the end we were surprised positively, as we've expected worse. Room was clean, and bathroom too. Transfer to airport available for small fee (3£).

Stayed here for one night before early flight, would not like to stay longer as the hotel is very tired looking, and in need of a good re decoration, it is very basic, but on the bright side it is close to the North terminal, with a shuttle bus service. The hotel is very clean, with large rooms, and we found it very quiet. We did not try the food, as we left early. The staff were very friendly and we found it good value as we parked the car there for the week.
