Very large hotel with many country type features. I imagine it does plenty of business travel business, retreats, etc. I was visiting w my family and the activity options for 7,9 and 13 yay olds were a bit lacking. The weather was a bit lousy so after exhausting the pool and fishing/clay pigeon shooting/ ropes course// pony experience we were looking for things to do. We did the day trip off site. Dinner at nearby "gastro pubs" which were very good. The hotels "kid club" could use some attentio... Read more

Attended a friends christening reception here. Lovely hotel in a beautiful country location with ample parking and friendly helpful staff, The food on offer was excellent and there was plenty of it. The only downside is the drinks from the bar are very expensive so be prepared for a bit of a shock when it's your round.

We used to come very regularly to the Four Seasons Hampshire when our children were younger. Our children are now teenagers and so we have less opportunity to come. We were invited to a weekend party here by friends celebrating a special birthday. On arrival I could see that the place is not what it used to be. The service, whilst friendly, is not up to speed and the management are not as personable as in the past. The rooms have not changed in 12 years and the fabric of the place, whilst still ... Stunning hotel in beautiful scenery. The rooms are classic and beautiful, the food is great in all of the restaurants and the spa is good too. Only negative would be that the spa isn't the biggest... There's one outdoor jacuzzi and one indoor pool and both can be quiet busy. Not the end of the world as there's so much to do around the hotel.

One thing the hotel consistently excels in is the fantastic service, every staff member you interact with is uber friendly, engaged & helpful! The location is great, set in the middle of the lovely Hampshire countryside. Rooms are brilliant & the bedding is one of the most comfortable I have seen in any hotel! No wonder it is available to buy as well! The spa, swimming pool, fitness room are all really good. The hotel also offers a lot of activities.. Overall one of the best luxury hotels out th... The treatments were first class as were the therapists. The lunch was relaxing and delicious. We went to the garden and the staff quickly found us somewhere and lay out cushions and towels for us. Exemplary service, delightful afternoon tea, spacious, well appointed and luxurious guest rooms and a spa to die for! The property even boasts the quintessential black Labrador. What isn't there to love? An amazing property - but very formal ... and for me - lacks personality and charm.

Arranged afternoon tea for my sisters 70th Birthday - overall a very disappointing experience. We were seated on a small table hardly room for us all and consequently the hot teapot placed on the edge of the table was knocked over and tea everywhere including the table cloth. Instead of replacing it we had to sit and have our tea with a wet and stained cloth covered by a napkin! Although the sandwiches were just about sufficient we were never asked if they needed replenishing - something whic... Read more

We all loved the stay. The children tried all sorts of activities they hadn't done before. Such as croquet, horseback riding, hawking.rope courses. The rooms were very comfortable spacious. The service was excellent. Your were always addressed by your name. The staff couldn't do enough for us. We were provided jackets and wellies if the weather dictated. The spa and swimming pool were also appreciated

Lunch with a friend at the Hotel. What a stunning place. I have visited several times over the last few years and it just gets better and better. The staff are so attentive and friendly without asking whether everything is alright constantly. The food was divine - Cornish lamb - the best. We decided to spend a few days in Hampshire to complement our London holiday. My friends and I have just had a wonderful and delicious afternoon tea. Everything was perfect! The two waitress that served us were attentive and could not do enough for us! A couple of us had special dietary needs and these were catered for 'in leaps and bounds'. The reason for the get together was because one of us would soon be having a baby. Visited for dinner - food was good, not knock out, and not fine dining - slightly odd menu where you had some good choices, mixed with burgers - which is frankly odd. The setting of the hotel is lovely, but the actual restaurant decoration feels a little like a departure lounge in an airport, functional bland conference chairs and in a rather non-descript corporate setting - the dinning room feels out of place for such a grand country house hotel, and seems to have been overlooked in terms of s... We have stayed at this hotel countless times, it is a break for us for the weekend to relax and recharge. Spa as always completely excellent, I love the new spa bistro, the service in there was outstanding. The pool was so busy - it was a winters day. I do feel the restaurant needs some improving, it needs to be more beautiful and romantic. It is very airport lounge, apart from that - the stay as always perfection. Thank you.

I have been to four season Hampshire on a few occasions both on business and with family. It's one of the few larger hotels where you actually can go and relax without feeling too much you are at just another conference or on your way to the corporate off site. This time I went with my four year old daughter a good friend and his 3.5 year old daughter. We left Hampstead Saturday morning in one of the vintage cars with a very small backseat, two pillows from the sofa in the Living room was our... Read more

Really didn't have a brilliant time here. My other half and I booked a last minute getaway here and booked into a 'garden room' (I think it was called). The room itself had a lovely bathroom but a really tired and old-fashioned bedroom and a had a strong smell of food (possibly fish?). Really not a luxurious room at all and could do with a revamp. The spa itself was beautiful - had a wonderful massage, but the swimming pool area was not at all relaxing - the pool temperature was ridiculously hot... Read more

Not that Hampshire is "nowhere", but arriving in this hotel, one drives through forests and fields and the last thing I expected was to reach a really fantastic place to stay... maybe a farm, or a fishing hut, but not a luxury hotel, and maybe this contrast adds to the pleasant feeling one has when staying there... Great stay! The hotel and grounds are beautiful and the staff is professional and helpful. We spent time in the bar, spa, and restaurant and I really enjoyed the food, service, and overall experience. Would absolutely recommend for a relaxing weekend getaway.

I have stayed at this wonderful property for business on a couple of occasions recently, so have just come back from a special weekend with my husband for his birthday. As well as being in the most beautiful setting, the service at every single touchpoint is what sets this property apart from so many other hotels. The staff here are truly marvellous, just the right level of service and attention, without being pushy or intrusive. They are all a credit to the Four Seasons brand. Food (and coc... Read more

I came here for afternoon tea with my partner. To make the most of our visit, we had a drink in the bar beforehand and a quick stroll around the grounds afterwards. Whilst I cannot comment on the hotel rooms themselves as we didn't stay there overnight, all the other parts of the hotel we explored were attractive and luxurious. The afternoon tea was good value for money, with a delicious selection of sandwiches, cakes and varieties of tea. The service was great, as one would expect from a clas... Read more

A wonderful stay for my husband's birthday and our 7th anniversary. We were upgraded to a suite that overlooked the fishing lake where cormorants, herons and birds of prey congregated. It had stunning views of miles of unspoilt Hampshire countryside. 500 acres apparently. We were thoroughly spoilt by the staff so thanks to them all- even to the point where Frederico of the waiting staff in Seasons and the chef, hand typed a recipe for us. Room service were lovely and I think it was Margaret wh... Read more

Amazing hotel in the middle of nowhere after a thousand and one roundabouts. Sherlock Holmes, deerstalkers, the sound of clay-pigeon shooting, tea parties of Miss Marple, the never-ending fields of Pride&Prejudice, the word "dear" and faded Victorian grandeur all come to mind, even though I don't think these are actually set in Hampshire. The Hotel itself caters to this image a lot, quiet and with stellar staff. The one who stands out amongst them, an incredible Frenchman named Maxime Regad, head... Read more

We stayed here for 2 nights (3 rooms), having stayed here previously this time it was for a function. The whole atmosphere was wonderful - the staff were also fantastic with an attention to detail that is rare to find. The rooms were clean, sumptuous and a joy to stay in. All in all, a great weekend and cannot wait to return!

Beautiful hotel, great grounds and facilities, but unacceptable service. The sandwiches were not up to the mark, the scones and clotted cream were ok but the tea was not hot, and when the pot had been emptied, all that was offered was a top-up of hot water to an empty tea pot. Not a fresh pot of tea, just hot water. I could Pee stronger than what came out of that pot. A transport café would not survive on the recommendations of their customers if this was their level of customer service. At £3... Read more
