Improved stay compared to the last...joined IHG last trip and very good rate for the night and a better room. Friendly reception staff and a fast check in...comfortable exec room and very good amenities with free Wi Fi along with large flat screen tv. Hotel was very quiet for a Friday night...dined in the restaurant, steak dinner was excellent, wife was happy with her veggie option. Did not take breakfast. Choice of hotel was due to location, handy for access to M40, dining options are limited o... Read more

Stayed at the Holiday Inn for 2 nights. Room rates were reasonable, got an upgrade due to my husband's IHG membership status. Rooms were newly refurbished, not very spacious, but okay. The bathroom would need some make-over, shower curtains should be a no-go nowadays. Staff was very friendly and polite. Ample parking available. Even though the hotel is next to the M40, the room was absolutely quiet. I would stay there again.

I found myself staying the night at the hotel when I suffered a flat tyre on a Sunday night. Thankfully I pulled up in the car park of the Holiday Inn High Wycombe. The staff were very helpful and mercifully there was a room available. The room was lovely and clean, the bed was comfortable. I slept soundly even though my room faced the M40. The sound proofing was very good and you did not hear the sound of the nearby traffic. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and very filling. Once again the mo... Read more

Hotel in general was fair, the room was a typical budget hotel room with a mini bar. Two of the electric sockets did not work, bed was comfortable. It seems that all the staff were foreign but spoke good english, bar was well stocked, very good buffet breakfast. All in all bit disappointed at £129 price tag per night but if you have a party or conference you can get a discount.

This is a decent hotel, convenient for the m40 and the rooms were clean and comfortable. There are some restaurants nearby but it's limited to the likes of frankie & bennys. If you prefer to be able to walk around of an evening in a town then I would look elsewhere but it was a convenient location for the purpose of my trip.

This hotel is brilliantly situated but if you don't want to eat with loads of hyperactive children early evening it's best avoided. Shame, because otherwise I love it. The staff are clearly used to this and know that there's nothing they can do to deal with the problems of kids running riot through the dining room.

The room was reasonably comfortable, if a little gloomy. Bathroom fine: no problems. Wifi was erratic: managed to get a refund - eventually, but only after manager overruled a desk clerk who was reluctant to help. Breakfast was good. But the service for evening meals made me think of the Julie Walters waitress sketch: any slower and the waiter would have been going backwards: probably because he was also doing room service?? But ice cream taking 35 minutes???

I left a little disappointed this time around. The wifi was very slow and the Executive room was tired and small and there was no one available when I went to check out (early check out at 5:30 for Heathrow flight) . Over all very average and a little over priced. I will be seeking alternative when in the area. If you are a IHG platinum like me they do not know how to look after their regulars so do not expect to have the usual status courtesy's extended to you.

Booked twin beds was told on arrival that only doubles available as they were full. I said I had confirmation of booking details was then told a bed had been put into room, this proved to be an uncomfortable camp bed. Not acceptable. Breakfast quite good but loads of uncleared tables.bit of mix up with our bill.

Booked a room over bank holiday weekend for 2 nights. Checking in was quick and simple, staff were polite and friendly. There is a cinema literally outside the hotel around the corner and also a frankie and benny's. And a large Next and Costa nearby too. The room I booked was a double, but it was really crammed. There was hardly any room to open up my suitcase on the floor. You really have to make the most of the space in the room. The shower was ok but water was filling up quickly by my feet. C... Read more

Have stayed here four or five times - Ideally situated, very close to the M40 Motorway. Staff very helpful in moving us closer to the Restaurant/Reception (Room 16), as one guest was partially disabled. Had requested this when booking but at first were put in a room which could not have been further away (Room 150 on the upper floor)! Stayed one night during a business trip. The rooms are tired and noisy, I had to deal with neighbours next door, dreadful sound proofing. The bar area is depressing and although there were 3 staff working the bar, it was difficult to get a drink. This place really isn't value for money, it just has a captive audience, otherwise suspect it would be empty. Try shopping around before you book.

We have stayed at this hotel on many occasions, primary because its location, just off the M40 motorway and on the outskirts of time which is basically 1 mile down the hill. Stayed at this hotel whilst going to a wedding in the area. Found other hotels extortionate because of how close it is to London but this hotel felt like a reasonable price. Breakfast was included and was very good. Particularly liked the pancake machine. Nice touch which I haven't seen in other hotels. Room was clean and well stocked with tea, coffee etc. The curtains were big blackout curtains which worked well. Overall good stay.

I am an IHG member who regularly uses this hotel as it's ideal for access to London and Heathrow. We checked in and the guy said he'd reserve a table for us for 7pm in the dining room. This is a reasonable hotel which, whilst being comfortable, does fall short of the standards that I would expect of any hotel, not just for a Holiday Inn.
