A fairly standard ibis room. Coffee making facilities provided. The windows provided good sound insulation but the hotel is so close to the runway there is some noise. The shower room has lights in the mirror, but since the room is finished in black it is very dark with the door closed. There is air-conditioning but it was switched off. The switch was on the wall next to the unit. The entrance to the hotel is modern with a large bar and dining area. The food was warm rather than hot, the table ne... Read more

Ibis Hotel is a good bargain if you have an early flight and need to stay at the airport. Reasonably priced; clean (but small) room and restaurant & bar on site. It's easy to get to using the Hoppa Buses to and from Heathrow.

I scooped an excellent rate when I pre booked my room through expedia. the rooms are always clean, beds comfortable enough, the restaurant + bar was open late as well as the kitchen. staff is very friendly. I like the consistency of IBIS no matter which one. good location for heathrow and if its just to sleep to make a connection why spend more

I had a twin bed room for our stay and I believe the beds were smaller than a standard twin. Several times during the night I found myself almost rolling out of bed which was slightly comically. Also our shower was not working. I called the front desk to see if there was a trick to getting it to work but she couldn't help me without sending someone up cause she didn't know what type of shower we had. I didn't have time for that cause we needed to get to the airport timely. I did not allot ti... Read more

Access to the Ibis is relatively easy of the Hoppa buses and the hotel is as usual reliable with its international reputation for cleanliness and good value. However the Interet connection is poor - can not get adequate access to email in your room in spite of advertised free wifi. bar & food not inexpensive.

Stayed here twice on our recent trip to the uk. First time was for one night and the second time was for three nights. Staff were very helpful. Rooms were small but clean. Had an issue with the shower leaking water on the floor. But this could have been me not closing shower curtain properly. But when I asked for more towels, they gave them no porblem. This is a very busy hotel, but well worth the money.

The hotel can be easily reached by taxi or the hotel shuttle for a small fee. The staff is friendly. I had a small room to the back side, which was quiet. The restaurant offered a nice dinner. I had a good rest at night. Having booked 11 months in advance, the hotel price was very low.

For: Very convenient for LHR, easy to get to and from on the free bus, very clean, extremely comfortable beds, we stayed one night in room #372 on the night of 11th May 2016 and it was also super quiet. Some staff were really good. Against. 1. Google "IBIS, Heathrow" and on the right, on the screen, in the ad, you will note "Free Parking", not so, GBP14.00, not a lot, but not what is advertised until you move to their website, but by then you believe "free Parking" 2. The address they give you on the reservation is not the one where it is actually located...in truth, it is next to the holiday inn and the opposite side of the road from the travel lodge. When we eventually found it, the hotel is nice enough, especially as we hot the Accor hotel deal of £48 a night. The parking is expensive if needed at £12 a night or £1 per hour. Normally I use another chain but they wanted silly money for the date I needed so IBIS got the business. I used the Accor loyalty programme to get 5% discount and overall it was a lot cheaper booking the room direct, one of the booking websites wanted £20 more for the same night. You have to bear in mind this is an 'economy' hotel so the sound-proofing isn't brilliant inside and outside the hotel. Luckily the other guests were fairly behaved but you could hear the jets taking off very clearly.... Read more

Like the modern look of the hotel, the rooms are fairly basic but to be expected The Ibis offer an airport terminal transfer (private taxi) for £10 which is very good value and worth taking, cuts down transfer time from 30 mins (free hoppa bus) to approx 10 mins Would recommend

The hotel soundproof is quite good as it said. However, the hotel seems like the last hotel in the heathrow area and the bus stop is the last stop of the heathrow free service. The hotel is very close to the airport. It is only around 3-5 stops away from the heathrow airport.

The room was small but perfectly adequate for our needs and beautifully clean. The restaurant was ok, staff attentive and service prompt. The fish could have been fresher though. My main gripe was the extortionate fare charged for the bus from Heathrow: £4.50 per trip per person equals £18 for a couple to and from Heathrow. A great hotel with FREE buses (the real buses, not the coaches just outside) to Heathrow Airport so you can catch the trains/subs to Central London easily. The hotel building is a bit old but still a modern and great facility where noise from airplanes and next door neighbours stays outside. Quick check in, friendly staff and comfortable room. I'd stay at the Ibis again, good budget hotel. Tip for getting to Heathrow... the hotel shuttle bus to terminal 4 takes 45 minutes and costs £5 so I got a local bus to Heathrow central instead, and the airport shuttle train from there. Took about half an hour and all free. Theres no charge for much of the public transport in the Heathrow zone. If you've not got too much luggage it's a good option.

She answered all of my questions, took care of my reservations, and since she was off on Sat, 30072016, she alerted Barbara who was on duty to expect us. Barbara was very efficient and had every... I stayed 1 night here. Room is very small. The restaurant is quite busy, may be there is no other restaurant within walking distance. I did not eat here, so I can't judge the food. I took airport hotel bus to/from this hotel, 9 pounds for round trip. Make sure you wait for bus at curb side, not at hotel door because hotel bus stops at curb side.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but comfortable. The restaurant is good value for money and our meals were of good quality. Great place to stay so close to the airport. Ibis Hotel London Heathrow We had previously stopped-over at the LHR Ibis Hotel in November last year, following the sun to Australia; the hotel had provided that crucial overnight stay in two days of travel, and it did much the same this time. There was a sense of seamless transition between the Europcar rental drop off, the shuttle bus to Terminal 2, the city bus ride back to the hotel (#105, 111 & 140), that comfortable room for the night, the taxi next morning, and 20 easy hours in two flig... We had to ask at reception about the pre-booked 8 night car parking, but they gave me a form to fill in and it worked well at the end of the stay (car delivered to short term parking at terminal 3, level 3). The reason I mention that there are better options in vicinity is that this hotel is only good for night stay - b/f is not included and is expensive, rooms are smaller than IBIS standards, poor directions to reach room and its too spreaded which makes you walk for a while to reach your room. No facilities either to pass your time. The only advantage is that this falls in free transport zone of Heathrow airport so public transport is free whereas hotel charges for airport drop.

Check in was fast and straight forward. Staff were polite and gave us directions to our room. Parking is £12 per 24 hours, but we were able to park on a side road about 10 minutes. Rooms were comfortable but the shower was a bit dirty.

Expecting the bare necessities we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Ibis. Reception was efficient, quick and friendly. All our queries were answered fully and assistance was offered when requested. The bedroom was small as we expected but very well set up. A small hanging space and a narrow set of shelves was quite sufficient for an overnight stay. There was a bench with tea and coffee making facilities and the lighting was fine. It took us a minute or two to work out where we w... Read more

Stayed for one night following late arrival at LHR as considerably less expensive than city centre hotel. Friendly reception staff, comfortable room and good choice at breakfast. Hotel Hoppa bus to /from terminals. Recommended.

We stayed before we flew on holiday , the room its self was large enough , brilliant bathroom & very quiet. The downstairs restaurant could do with some heating it was very cold everyone was having to wear thick jackets or go back to their room to get another garment of clothing. We had a great nights sleep & refresh for a long day travelling would stay here again.

Check in and check out ran smooth. We particularly appreciated the surprise of being given complimentary overnight parking. The room was quiet -you did not realise you were next to one of the busiest airports in the world.

The hotel does not look very impressive from outside but the rooms are modern and clean though not too big. The corridors are stuffy and do not do justice to the hotel reminding me of rundown properties. Theire is very good free public transportation from the corner of Harlington street but it's 300 meters away and too far if you have luggage. The Hoppa bus service takes too long when going to the airport since it makes many hotel stops so a taxi may be the most practical solution. Getting to i... Read more

We stayed here recently before an early morning flight to the US. Check in was smooth and the reception area is quite funky and looks to be recently refurbished. The rooms are a bit dated, artex walls etc but fine for a 1 night stay. The bed was comfy and it was fairly quiet considering closeness to airport. We arrived on the free bus from Central Station, which stops close to the hotel, but got a taxi (£10) to terminal 3 the next morning as much more convenient than the Hoppa Bus. A good airpo... over the past 10 years this property has undergone many upgrades including beds, TV's, bathrooms, lounge and restaurant. The end result is that thie Ibis Lhr is a nice reasonably priced hotel with access to Heathrow and the train/bus system to get one easily downtown. Rooms are small and basic with small TV's, but this is not meant to be a resort hotel. Free fast WiFi is a plus. It is also located near free airport bus transportation for those wishing to avoid paying for the Hoppa transport serv... Read more

I've stayed here many times over the years and earned silver status. The service has been great, but is going downhill. Fast. Currently on night 2 of 3 night stay. I've cancelled my third night and going to Travelodge down the road. My issues are: My room was not serviced today. I reported to reception early evening and on my return a few hours later, still no service. I spilt some food on my sheets. Wanted clean sheets, so stripped the bed and sleeping without sheets. Went to hotel bar for... Read more

After coming to Heathrow for a convention In another hotel down the road we stayed in the Ibis for two nights. The stay here was very enjoyable everything was up to date and clean looking. The staff were friendly and helpful and the prices of room and bar were really good in comparison to other hotels in the area. Some people may see 'budget' hotels in a lower light however after spending time in a more grand more expensive hotel with awful service for the weekend I would say the Ibis was the be... Read more
