Good location, walking distance to lots of restaurants/pubs/shopping. We only stayed one night so not sure how close to landmarks/historical sites. We had to park across the street in a parking garage but the hotel gave us a coupon for 25% off. Hotel staff was very nice and helpful. Room was amazing, very modern amenities and decor was beautiful! Hotel had a bar which was nice. We did pay £10 to have breakfast and I wasn't really thrilled by the selection. Otherwise, we would definitely recomme... Read more

I booked through the IHG central number, when I arrived I was warmly welcomed, the room was spot on. Big comfortable bed and a generous hot shower - no water shortages in Glasgow!! The onsite restaurant is a Marco Pierre White grill. Easy to do but spot on on never the less. i chose the the Baked Camenbert and a Sirlion with french beans. The baked Camenbert was just right. The Sirlion, whilst the steak itself was 8/10 (I'd qualify that by telling you I sort through all the steaks in the superm... Read more

Don't let the small reception area put you off as this hotel is definitely one of the best in Glasgow. The bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are to die for. The wifi is good and the free mini bar is a brilliant idea. I never heard a bit of noise during my 4 night stay. Another plus is that room service is reasonably priced and you don't pay a silly tray charge. The MPW restaurant is exceptional and reasonably priced and highly recommended. Finally the hotel is a couple of mins walk from t... Read more

I visited this hotel on Friday 30 December for 1 overnight stay. A very modern hotel with a nice bar which serves amazing cocktails. I especially liked the nice luxurious room decor, very comfortable king sized bed and the amazing walk in shower. The little touches made the visit memorable, as were given complementary soft drinks, crisps and biscuits in the little fridge. Overall loved this hotel and will definitely return in the near future.

My wife and I were traveling in to Glasgow from Edinburgh very early, arriving at Hotel Indigo at 7:30 in the morning. We had booked a day tour of the highlands that departed Glasgow at 9:00am. Upon arrival we asked the woman at reception if we could just leave our bags until we returned from the tour. She informed us that they actually had a room ready for us. Unheard of, we were thrilled! It meant so much just to get situated in our room for a minute before we had to go to our tour. Membe... Read more

I come home to Glasgow regularly and have stayed in many of the City's hotels, but this remains my number one choice. It is an excellent hotel. It is staffed by a young, enthusiastic and friendly team who are a credit, both to the hotel and the brand. The rooms remain excellent and I was delighted to be upgraded. Special thanks to the barman for his recommendations on the gin selection, great at the time, but not quite so the following morning.... I think on all counts this hotel is hard to... Read more

Recently been to Glasgow for just one night and decided to stay at Hotel Indigo. The hotel is a very nice mix of old building and modern interiors. The welcome at the reception was very warm, the room was spacious (very spacious for UK cities), with a comfy bed and gorgeous walk-in rain shower. The contents of the mini bar were complimentary! For the business traveller: loads of power sockets, free wifi and ethernet plug at the desk. At breakfast we found a good selection of very nice, and seemi... Read more

Our second stay here as a treat during visit to family. Rooms quiet, clean and stylishly appointed. Beds very comfortable, bathroom nicely done. However we stayed for two breakfasts which, whilst promising were let down by poor service, especially considering the Marco Pierre White treatment. On the first morning both potato scones and black pudding not available on the (less than) full scottish breakfast then on the following morning service was slow and extremely erratic. We usually choose ... Read more
