We've stayed a the Hilton Glasgow as a couple before and it was lovely, this time we travelled with our daughter for her birthday and booked a double deluxe room - the room it self was very clean, however it was shabby, which given the standard of the rest of the hotel I can only assume its because it was well used by families - the furniture was dark, dreary and scratched badly - the table had the most disgusting sticky stuff on it and the window frames were black with condensation damp - the f... Great stay at the Hotel. Staff were attentive and friendly; breakfast and dinner were delicious (as were the gin cocktails). Pool and health suite were also great - although quite busy with spa booking groups. Would definitely recommend to friends, and would return when next in Glasgow!

We stayed at the Hilton a few times now and the same issue has popped up. We tend to book the executive rooms which are normally on floor 19 or thereabouts. Both times that we have stayed now, late at night there is an overwhelming stench of cigarette smoke which comes through the air filter just at the bathroom door. This totally stinks out your room and the bathroom. The first time this happened, we called reception and two suits came up, but nothing was done. Obviously those above cannot ... Read more

Great for access to city centre with convenience of a relatively inexpensive car park (£12 /24hrs) Very nice reception, restaurant and bar areas. Did not get chance to try the restaurant for dinner, but heard good reviews. Room was clean and spacious and bed comfy. Excellent cooked breakfast. Huge variety of foods catering for all tastes. The staff helped with everything from help parking to where to go. A lovely hotel, bustling but pleasantly so and still creating a nice calm ambience. Room was high up so had a good view beyond the motorway below - great watching the sunset. For those with vertigo, request a lower floor. Even though there was a motorway next to the hotel, this did not cause any noise issues. Handy for the city centre with plenty to see and do. A good sized room, clean and welcoming. With a gathering of over 400 we virtually 'took over' the hotel. All the staff were attentive and helpful and very tactful with some dear elderly ladies. The city of Glasgow itself looked lovely in the bright sunny weather and I can recommend the open topped bus tour and guides.

Staff behind the desk are not pleasant, to say the least. Rooms are turned quickly, compromising cleanliness. And if happen to get internet connection in your room, consider yourself lucky. Room service left something to be desired. My ham and cheese toastie, as stated in the menu, was a simple cold sandwich.

We had our 5th wedding anniversary and decided to stay at the Glasgow Hilton in William St. We have stayed there for the last 5 years. The staff make you feel Nothing is a problem from checking in/out at the bar, dinner/breakfast and spa. I would recommend them to everyone. The hotel and rooms are very nice and the staff was helpful and friendly. The receptionist printed our boarding passes because the printer at the self-serve computers was not working. From a Hilton, I would expect this kind of service. My gripe is with the restaurant. We only had one night in Glasgow and had to get up early to catch a long flight home to the US. So, we had dinnver/drinks at the restaurant in the lobby. The service was terribly slow and the food was so-so and overpriced.

I stayed here on 9th July 2016, the hotel is easy to find and located right in the city centre. Parking is on site and priced at £12 for 24 hours for hotel guests. The lobby is beautiful and the room I stayed in (Kind Deluxe) was great! spacious and comfy. I would say the only downside was the gym and spa wasn't to my expectations of a Hilton hotel, it was very small and a bit 'grubby' I would defiantly stay again.

We chose this hotel because it was an easy walk (20 minutes) to the conference centre, (or one train stop on Scotrail), and it allowed easy access to the city for restaurants and for shopping. Often we took the Scotrail from the nearby Anderston station to Glasgow Central or to Argyle and walked back along the city streets. Our room was exactly as you would expect--clean and modern. A large lobby I would stay here again if visiting Glasgow in the future.

If you can afford to stay here, do so. There are cheaper places to stay but the accommodations at the Hilton far exceed those cheaper places in every category. We have stayed at the Hilton several times and it has been my hotel of choice in Glasgow. This time I came for a weekend in a family room with my wife and son. The reception staff were efficient if a bit impersonal while the rest of the staff were very pleasant. It is really irritating arriving after a long trip to a room which is clearly set for more than 3 - 4 people to then have only 2 cups, towels etc available and to have to spend time organising these. The staff are 100% fantastic and essentially made our stay 5*. We had dinner/lunch in both restaurant and bar, both were very enjoyable. Breakfast was exceptional, on the first morning we ate in our room, service and quality second to none. Second morning we dined in the executive lounge and although not as huge a selection, it was equally as scruptious. Rooms were immaculate, spa facilities a bonus. My only complaint is that an executive room should be as such. Decor and furnishings need upda... Read more

Spent the night at the Hilton and found it pretty good. The room was clean but the aircon made a terrible noise and with it off the heat was unbearable, this would be my only complaint. The bar staff were great and the food was excellent. Didnt spend much time in the hotel but was overall impressed. As i say aircon was only complaint, as high floor the windows didnt open.

This hotel is everything you would expect from a Hilton Hotel. Great staff, super rooms and facilities and excellent food. It's central location makes it hard to beat if you want to explore Glasgow, but once inside you would never know there were roads all around. A very modern place indeed. However, a few points to note. Underground parking is tight, and costs a significant sum per night. Also, the lifts are operated on a card system and if you are visually impaired it is hard to even fin... Read more

This really is a lovely 5 star hotel, the grand reception, excellent bar and well equipped rooms were great, I just thought that overall it was let down by the pool and spa area. I had treatments booked so had to go to the spa reception which was miles away from the actual pool area, we then spent time in pool/jacuzzi etc until we were collected for our treatments. The pool area was far too busy however, lots of kids and half the pool was cordoned off for swimming lessons, not what you'd exp... Read more

We went there for a business awards ceremony held in this hotel. Although we won at the end, the stressful pre-arrival experience of driving around the city in the night to locate the entrance and the misfortune of damaging my car door severely when trying to drive down to their lower level underground car park through the extremely narrow driveway have overshadowed the joy of winning the award. There are few other Hilton hotels around Glasgow with easier access. Parking fee overnight is £... Read more

An excellent stay at the hotel every thing was first class. The breakfast was excellent in all aspects, the room was very clean and well prepared. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would visit again when in Glasgow. Did not have opportunity to try the evening meal deal which looked good.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to please. The restaurant manager(I think his name was Bill Hume) warrants a special mention in this respect. I found the lighting in the bedrooms a little dim for applying makeup but, otherwise, the rooms were spotless and very comfortable. Great choice of breakfast items though personally, I prefer hot drinks to be served at the table rather than have to carry them through a very busy area which is an accide... Read more

Good hotel, located conveniently with good service. Very good breakfast spread. Comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Certainly will stay again when in Glasgow again. If you fancy whiskey, the lobby bar has a good collection, however on the pricey side..

After many years absence, we spent a night here. The hotel is in an ideal location for the city amenities. The rooms are comfortable and well presented. Breakfast was very good with good choices. It may be expensive but the quality is worth it. Proficient and friendly staff.
