Stayed for one night on a trip to Glasgow. Checked in on line so very quick at reception. Asked for a room on a lower level to avoid using lifts. Twin room on Floor 5 was clean comfortable and had everything you could need. Not the most modern room but in good condition. Had a meal outside the hotel, but did use the lounge for a drink. Not cheap, but what you would expect for a city centre hotel. Breakfast had a wide choice with freshly cooked eggs to your liking. Mostly good, but some items cou... Read more

Travelled on business in June 2016 to visit clients in Glasgow. I have stayed wt this hotel many times before and always found it to be a good place to be. I booked a suite with outside balcony (3rd time now in the exact same room!!) Access from the reception is via lift and you need your keycard to operate the lift. The suite is a good size with a great and separate working area with ample power sockets. Staying in a suite of booking a club room gets free WiFi and the club lounge access mea... Read more

Received a spa day for Christmas, was very excited, took a friend. Well where do I start?!? When we walked into the Hilton the reception is lovely, we were taken down to the spa and that's where it went wrong. We were thrown our towels, then thrown our robe and slippers which we had paid extra for. When we were shown into the changing rooms well this was ever worse, they are small and dirty. There was clumps of hair lying on the floor, in the lockers and on the surfaces where you would be puttin... Read more

So for a big brand this stay rates as only average. Firstly, it's not easy to access by foot, it's tucked away in the labyrinth of fly overs and underpasses that serve the nearby motorway. Secondly, the room was freezing. No mater what you did with the temperature control the room temperature did not increase. Thirdly, the duvet covers are very thin. Luckily I was in a big double bed by myself and I was able to double up the duvet for warmth (no additional bedding anywhere in the room). Fourthly... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel. The Hilton standard of old. The staff were attentive helpful and most of all appeared to be enjoying their work. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the bed linen of a very high standard n

You wonder when you book if the second stay will be as good as the first. It was. I like the location of this Hilton its in town and close to lots of shopping, trains etc. I was really glad we got a room facing the freeway the view was better than last time. I am so glad they updated bedding to duvets rather than the old bedspread which creeps me out. I would like to see them update the furnishings they are looking dated and a little nasty. On to better things the breakfast buffet is second to ... Read more

We are two adults travelling with our 4 grandchildren aged 9-12, we had a wonderful experience, staff, food and rooms were excellent. Breakfast was fantastic so much variety especially for the children who don't always want a cooked breakfast. The pancake making machine was a masterplan

Impressive bright reception welcomes you, but the rooms are somewhat gloomy. On entering I switched the lights on by the door but they didn't change much. You actually have to go round the room and switch on all the individual lamps to make any difference and even then the room remains gloomy and dull - maybe hiding the aged décor. The gym reminded me of the leisure centre gym from the 80's but them I realised that actually the leisure centre had better facilities than those in the Hilton. It ... Read more

Stayed in this hotel before but has gone down hill. Showers are old and in our opinion unsafe. Breakfast staff are rude and say they will get items but never appear. This happened with two different members of breakfast staff. All other staff members were most helpful no very polite. Don't think we will return unless a very good deal to be had.

Was given a complimentary stay as had a poor experience last stay. Unfortunately the experience was not much better, car park was full on arrival at 3pm and had to wait in a queue for 15mins for a car parking space. Ordered lunch at the bar, soup & sandwich advertised with salad & crisps at £9 + soup was not very hot, bread was hard & dried out, no crisps. When complained to staff, the answer was you don't get the crisps when you order the soup, only when you order the sandwiches on their own?.... Read more
