Another great stay at Jury's Inn, Gateshead Quays. A lovely customer experience, very friendly staff and nothing too much trouble. The hotel was busy due to the Rugby League Magic Weekend and we were treated like we were the only guests in the hotel. Good quality of accommodation, very clean. Brilliant location only a few minutes walk into Newcastle town centre. This is our 2nd stay at this hotel and we will definitely be back!!!

The hotel was average, bar area and general location nice and clean. Rooms clean and comfy. The only thing that lets this hotel down is the car parking or lack of it. More car parking options or deals with near by car parks would be good.

Stayed here with a coach load. Staff are great, very clean, good location and large choice of breakfast BUT evening meals well lets just say tasteless boil in the bag comes to mind, everything is bland, soggy and weird combinations, carbs galore. Thank goodness for the puddings, still a good way to lose weight lol

Me & my friends visited for a girls weekend away, the location was perfect! Taxis to & from the bars & nights clubs & train station cost around only £6 a journey(no matter what time of day). The staff at this hotel where more than helpful on our frequent trips to reception for extra tea bags, pillows, calling taxis ect. The room was clean & very comfortable. This hotel is in a great location with easy access to Newcastle. Our room was spacious and clean. Only complaint was the air conditioning in our room didn't work when we arrived so we told the front desk who said maintenance would look at it on Monday as they don't work weekends. So my car park bill was £21 when I left. One of the reasons I chose this hotel was for the on site parking . Not impressed that the only option to full car park was a restricted area that would require moving my car before 8am. Poor signage to say car park was full so you end up driving into car park and then having to do a right 3 point turn to get back out.

Stayed there for two weeks. The room size was adequate, the cleanliness ok. But it was really noisy because of two reasons: The proximity to the elevator, and the fact that there was an additional, ordinary and simple door to the neighbours room. The rooms of my colleagues there had other issues, they even had to change. This was a great modern hotel. The rooms were big and comfortable and the location was a short walk from the millennium bridge and the downtown. The view from the 4th floor was great. We arrived late and the service was excellent and helpful. The 10 pound breakfast in the morning was very good and service was excellent. Most important however was that the price for the room was great.

For a budget hotel, this really was good value - large, comfortable bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and an excellent shower. We paid the extra £10 for a river view, and it was definitely worth it, particularly at night when the Tyne bridges are lit up. Good location, right next door to the Baltic and the Millenium Bridge.

However, I found that for a reasonable price there was: very good service, a well decorated hotel and comfortable rooms with a generous amount of space in each. We have been to Newcastle several times over the last two years and Jury's Inn Gateshead is our favourite hotel. Excellent location, good views, friendly and helpful staff. Even if you can't park at the hotel (spaces limited) there is street parking along the road or in a parallel road.

It was fine for an overnight stay. I am not a regular hotel user and it ticked the boxes of being in the right place, clean, friendly and the rooms were adequate for sleeping in which is all that we needed.

This hotel was very clean and tidy and was superbly situated on the river Tyne very close to the restaurants and bars in Newcastle city centre. I had a room with a superb view overlooking the river Tyne. The staff on reception were extremely helpful.

Cold breakfast. Pricey dinner menu for what you get. Woken up at 4am by knocking on door of room near mine. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Got the impression that more staff is needed. When ain't complaine about porridge being cold and lumpy, the bowl was taken and heated up. So was hot but even more lumpy. One of the worst breakfasts ever had. Had to wait for some time for the buffet breakfast containers to be refilled. Definitely short of staff.

3 days of stay. Brilliant experience of very courteous staff, cleanliness at its best and lovely food. And of course by the river a fantabulous experience. Its right by the Millennium Bridge and Baltic art museum. A little stroll will take you across to the buzzing pleasant town of Newcastle city centre with bars, restaurant and shops....

stepped onto a sharp object on arrival, as I stepped into the bathroom. Then realised we had a disabled room which didn't have anywhere to put toiletries. Situated next to the lift so we were woken up all night by people using the lift.

If you are lucky enough to get a room at the front you will have a great view. The hotel is good. Reception staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are nothing special - everything you'd expect. Clean. The food is very good, although in the restaurant in the evening it was very dimly lit.

It was only 7 miles from the airport which was ideal for me and my three colleagues. Its situated on the Tyne and once we crossed over the bridge there were many restaurants and pubs to choose from. Had a room over looking the car park which was fine the room was clean with an iron, ironing board, shower gels and tea coffee facilities. Breakfast was help yourself although the staff were a bit slow filling up missing stock such as pastries, toast etc. I had to ask them for more fruit as its had ... Read more

Great hotel to stay in when you're visiting Newcastle / Gateshead for business or pleasure. I needed close access to the Baltic Contemporary Arts Centre - so it was perfect for that particular trip. The food is great and the staff are brilliantly helpful. It was a great base for a two night business trip stay.

Had a fantastic view from the room, breakfast was lovely. However the room was freezing and I had to resort to sleeping in pyjamas with clothes on the top. The air conditioning was turned off and I was still shivering. However the hotel is in walking distance from eldon square and the quayside. Staff were fantastic and it is also a beautiful hotel. Apart from the cold and lack of lighting in the hotel rooms it is a fantastic hotel, room service menu is awfully expensive and they charged £4 del... Read more

This hotel is in a great position for exploring Newcastle. However we were put in a bedroom with a broken flush and a hopeless shower. We were moved to a much better room the next night by a very abrupt and unfriendly receptionist. Not an enjoyable experience.

Everything was ok, bare minimum done by staff to make a passable trip. I have nothing more to say it was ok and served a purpose but not a fab service by any stretch of the imagination, passable and might come back as good location!

I am totally shocked and disgusted at the service of your hotel. Me and my partner stayed at Jury's inn Gateshead on the 18th Of November 2016 for business which we stated whilst booking online. Online it stated parking and a high quality room. When we arrived, the manner of the reception staff whilst we were checking in was totally unprofessional! We arrived in our room which was small and cramped, in addition to this there was rust/ mould behind the shower/bath taps, cracks in the ceilings the... Read more

Large comfy room with plenty of room for 3 possibly 4 people. Breakfast with a view of the Tyne very nice. Within walking distance of The Sage, Millennium Bridge, Tyne Bridge and the Baltic Arts centre. Small car park if you arrive after 6 pm no chance of a spot. Best thing is to park on the road as it's free between 6pm - 8am.

Nicely located, near to the Millennium bridge, so a bit of a walk to the riverside bars and restaurants across the river. The hotel has limited on-site car parking available (£6.50 per night when I stayed). My room was a good size and overlooked the river so it had pleasant views. I only had some food in the bar which was decent enough and the staff were all very pleasant. I use this chain quite a lot and would certainly stay here again.

Very friendly hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide range of food, all well cooked. Checking in and out was very easy. Bar service was good, with no limit on the time we could stay.

I only stated here for one night while on a business trip. It does the trick but does not excel in any area. The room was a reasonable size, clean and quiet. The breakfast provided sufficient options but also is not really special.

We stopped here for one night on our way up to Scotland and really enjoyed it. Located right next to the Baltic gallery (which was amazing) and close to the Sage and the Millennium bridge. Close walk to the quayside which has lots of great eating and drinking places. Room clean and spacious and staff really friendly. Private parking on site. Great value for money.

High level of guest service by all staff. Rooms complete, clean and temperature is well to manage. Bathroom small, but sufficient, taking a shower in the morning was a bit of a disappointing experience due to low water pressure. Dinner restaurant offering on the menu was good. Quality of the food/cooking (steak from grill) was not impressive.

Hotel was lovely clean and in a good location. The bar was rowdy and had football on full blast on both TVs. Staff did not challenge rowdy guests service at bar was poor verging on extremely slow. Nice for a stay just don't use the bar. There's a Tesco nearby for take outs

Lovely hotel! Can tell it is very well looked after. Our room was a decent size ... One single bed and one double bed for two of us. Ironing board, iron, TV, wifi etc in the room. Our view was of the Baltic building and bridge which was nice. Plenty of food to choose from at breakfast. Staff are friendly and helpful ??? Would love to stay here again.
