One night stay prior to flying to Isles of Scilly. A bit expensive but well run, and rooms excellent quality. Helpful and understanding staff. We had to leave our care stranded there for a whole week until we could get mechanical help and the hotel staff handled the problem as if it happens twice a day--perhaps it does!

It's not that there is anything wrong with this hotel, it is what it is supposed to be a cheap stop over hotel when you need one, it is very clean and it has a free breakfast ( not brilliant), but I hate the fact you can't open a window at all and also that the bathroom sliding doors are a bit rubbish, but other than that It's absolutely fine.

This hotel was a nice surprise. Overall it was nicer that the Hampton Inn's I am used to in the US. There was a bar, a better-than-expected breakfast and a good room. Next door is an Italian restaurant where we got a good meal. The hotel itself is a bit isolated from anything but the airport. Although by the airport, it was very quiet in the room.

Most Airport hotels are tired and rushed but not this one. The staff display passion for what they do and are all welcoming and smiling. The set up is modern and relaxed but still displays quality and style. If you want somewhere to stay for the airport or indeed business meetings then this location will hit the spot

We used the Hampton as a base for exploring Devon. Its not loaded with facilities but what it has is of excellent quality, spotlessly clean and the service is great. A very relaxed atmosphere where 2 adults and 2 children were made welcome. Every member of the team took the time to speak to the children. The room was average size but very clean and includes aircon. TV was good with HD channels. WIFI was easy to use and of impressive speed. Best of all a decent room rate included cooked buffet st... We wanted to break our journey from the Midlands to Cornwall, as we were setting out late in the afternoon. The hotel is located at the Exeter Airport, just a couple of miles from the M5, so no time wasted getting to / from the motorway. A restaurant and bar service is available, again saving time from having to look for a place to eat. Our room was comfortable with modern appointments, located on the first floor at the rear of the building. A front room may have been preferable, as we were d... Read more

Very friendly staff, good sized rooms, clean and fresh. Also enjoyed Marco Piere White restaurant next door. Food terrific, waiting staff in restaurant could buff up their skills, but we enjoyed it none the less. Great location for Exeter airport, and the hotel also operate a shuttle(cost £2 per head.....hhhmmmm). The reception staff (take a bow, Emma and Emily) were extremely efficient, friendly and smiling.

Rooms with odd numbers are very noisy from road traffic. Doors slam and window blinds are noisy too. Food is limited & there's no room service. No fridge in your room and TV is also limited. Breakfast is ok but the evening menu is all microwaved. Most of the staff are great and the rooms are always clean. Internet is poor, I use BT when I'm there instead.

Well appointed rooms but the bed was too hard, like sleeping on floorboards, had to use spare duvet to get some sort of cushioning.....also you could hear EVERYTHING from the surrounding bathrooms.....obviously no sound proofing in that area.....breakfast, whilst generous, was like a self clear canteen, I don't expect to pay for a nights accommodation and have to clear my own breakfast tray..... As long as you can get a good deal before you go this is excellent value. £80 for the 3 of us is excellent value. Staff are very friendly, rooms are well insulated from noise, bathrooms gorgeous and beds are very comfortable. 2 minutes drive from the airport takes the pressure off when having an early flight. We didn't eat at the hotel but it looks very popular and they put out a continental breakfast from 4am

Typical Hampton Inn with standard fittings. About 30 mins to Sidmouth. Hotel hard to find. Take the entrance to the airport from B3184 and follow the road past the businesses. The hotel will eventually appear on the right. There is a small sign as you turn into the airport road. Free parking. Heard no noise although next to Airport.

Nice Hampton for a stopover in the area. Has typical modern Hampton rooms and decent buffet breakfast. Clean rooms that can accommodate up to a family of 4. A little hard to find as you have to drive past the airport down a one lane road. Next to FlyBe training facility. Plenty of free parking. Not in walking distance to anything, so a car is a must if you are visiting Exeter or the area. They do have a shuttle to and from the airport.

Everything excellent with this hotel from electronic book in to check in, rooms. There is a Wi-Fi unit outside every room so speeds are very good. The rooms are very clean and have everything you need, iron hairdryer etc. Only one comment I would make is prices of drinks It always amazes me that these hotels haven't learnt yet £4.50 a pint and the same for a single short and coke/lemonade. two single vodkas and you could by a bottle!! Apart from this all good.

This is my 2nd visit to a Hampton by Hilton hotel and I was still very impressed! Friendly receptionist on check in, rooms great and exceptionally clean , fluffy towels in the bathroom, iron, ironing board and hairdryer in the room ( Premier Inn please take note) and decent Wi Fi ( Premier Inn please take note again) we also had an excellent meal at the Italian restaurant Marco's. The free breakfast was also very good and all in all I think this hotel chain offers exceptional value for money ( I... Read more

Awful to find, don't follow your Sat-Nav as it isn't properly situated for GPS. Worth the search. Friendly staff and very helpful. Clean and modern. Excellent restaurant though a tad on the cool side, food was superb. Good menus with a wide range to choose from.

This is great hotel for Exeter and surrounding area. Friendly and very helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Good breakfast selection of hot and cold buffet. Enjoyed our overnight stay. Would recommend.

This hotel is very close to the airport but excellent sound proofing and low number of flights means that it doesn't seem like you are sleeping next to a runway. Our room was comfortable, clean and absolutely just what we needed. The neighbouring restaurant was good value and had a great menu. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.

This place is a gem, didn't realise how close to Exeter this hotel was but a great find, spotlessly clean, great food and fantastic staff. As on airport thought it would be noisy but not a peep. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was free and plenty available. This hotel is well worth a visit.

This hotel is walking distance from Exeter Airport. From here is a bus to the city & to the uni. Great hotel. Good breakfast. Evening meal is next door at Marco's. Room was very clean & comfortable. Single beds in twin room were big and comfy. Expensive bar: £10 for a hot chocolate and a glass of wine. Shuttle bus to/from airport was only free once, from airport, but not back again.

We arrived mid afternoon, lots of parking space, reception nice and quiet. There was a warm welcome at check in, all paperwork ready, and we were soon in a room. Room was of a good size, well enough equipped, with a good bathroom and everything was clean. We went off to explore Exmouth. When we returned to the hotel that evening, still lots of parking, which was good to see given we knew the hotel was fully booked. We had a couple of drinks in the bar. Service was quick and efficient, altho... Read more

We only stayed for one night on the way home from Cornwall. It was an excellent stay. We were able to access our room from 2pm and leave up until 12pm the next day. The room was immaculately clean and VERY well designed.

We spent 1 night here before flying to London to celebrate our Golden Wedding and another night on our return together with our family - 3 rooms in all. The staff at reception were (as usual) very welcoming and friendly and everything we had asked for when we booked months ago was all in place. The Hamilton is modern, very tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Self service breakfast is first class and you are spoilt for choice. There is ample overnight parking at the H... Read more

Ideally sited for the airport with a £2 on demand shuttle bus service. We arrived by taxi otherwise would have found the route past the airport quite a challenge due to dislodged signposts and a very narrow country lane. We found the hotel comfortable and clean and the room well equipped including a sofa bed making it comfortable to watch tv. We ate in the attached Marcos restaurant, we were promised a 20% discount by the hotel receptionist when she booked the table but restaurant staff did no... Read more

Stayed one night prior to a flight to the Scilly Isles from Exeter airport. We chose a top floor room online & the friendly staff gave us our key. The rooms are simple, tastly decorated and clean. The beds & pillows were very comfortable. There was also tea/coffee making facilities. Breakfast was good:- cereals, pastries, toast, different milk selection incl. soya, & a cooked section. Excellent value!! Should we use Exeter airport again we wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Hampton

Excellent airport hotel. Easy to find. Rooms have everything you need including irons and ironing board! Breakfast great. Didn't experience the restaurant or bar. We paid same price as a budget hotel but the rooms were far superior. We will definitely stay here again.

Never fails to impress. Room and bathroom spotlessly clean. Very comfortable bed. Good choice of breakfast items and particularly recommend the scrambled egg option which is clearly made with fresh eggs as opposed to liquid from a carton.

very simple and great value hotel. just the cooked breakfast needs to be improved as the food is kept hot in steamers which makes it all go soggy. the reception staff are always very friendly and helpful and the rooms clean and comfortable
