Hotel is great if you are arriving from Edinburgh airport as you can get straight on a tram that stops literally opposite the hotel. Pros - Staff were very friendly and hotel was smart and clean. Room very sufficient especially considering how little we paid for a two night stay. Tv with Freeview channels, lots of plug sockets and decent bathroom facilities. Also felt very safe as you needed a key card for each corridor. Massive window with a good view was an added bonus. Good location, we enj... Read more

This modern hotel was perfectly adequate for a two night stay but you must be prepared to pay extra for the normal expected hotel room services/equipment. The rooms are small (some without windows) but found the bed to be comfortable with an efficient shower and heating system. Coffee/tea is available from the reception to take to your room (or use Starbucks across the road) and with fees for towels, television, wifi, room safe, hair dryer and everyday room service, you must be prepared to pay fo... I stayed at the Tune Hotel two nights in a twin room with my sister. First of all, no cupboards in the room, just a small safe. A very slim bed for two persons and only ONE blanket. The bathroom was quite nice but not functional. It was OK for the short period. The lobby was nice designed, but I felt really cold to me. All in all it was an average hotel in Edinburgh, nothing special !

If your thinking of booking this hotel re think. It is one of the worst hotels I've been in & the customer service we received was less than impressive. I went down to reception 4 times within a half hour time frame between 1 thing or another. Yes the hotel is in a good location but now the tram line is in place lots of places are. I was in Edinburgh the previous weekend to this stay and stayed at premiere inn ( Edinburgh park) & have to say the tune couldn't be half as good as the premier inn e... Read more

Location: Haymarket Bus/Tram station is across the street. No decent food joints around. All are in old town or princess street. Haymarket is a good area in terms of connectivity..but not too close to city center or princess street.. Rooms are not cleaned everyday, and is chargeable. make sure you book inclusive of wifi, toiletries (yes you have to pay per day to use them), and even TV (not talking about exclusive/ pay-per-view content). I was on a 15 day UK trip, and this was the only hotel t... Read more

Spent a weekend here to explore Edinburgh, ideally located opposite Tram stop so easy to locate from airport. Staff friendly, hotel and room very clean. 10-15 minute walk towards city centre so ideal to explore, plenty of restaurants and places to grab a bite. Platform 5 bar next door good for a night cap!

My Dad should have come to Edinburgh to visit me for couple days. Unfortunately my grandma got seriously ill and he had to stay with her. I had no problem to change a date of reservation, furthermore, I found staff very friendly helpful and mainly sympathetic in these circumstances. Thank you very much for that, amazing experience!

Decided at the last minute to stay an extra night in Edinburgh and got this hotel at a bargain price. Was not expecting much from the hotel but it far exceeded our expectations! We have stayed at many hotels around the world including many 5* and the sevice we recieved here far exceeded some of these! Iris at check in was fabulous and could not have been more helpful, she really is an assest to the hotel. Room compact but serviceable, could not expect more for the price! Bed very comfortable, ro... Read more

Staying at the Tune Hotel is becoming second nature on business and leisure trips to Edinburgh, especially when travelling by train. Some 100 yards from Haymarket Station this comfortable, practical hotel is tailor made for short stays. It is comfortable, warm, and staffed by efficient friendly people who can't do enough for you. A must stay for regulars to Scotland's capital city, and cheap too, particularly at this time of year.

We had a difficult experience at this hotel in April 2016, the manager promised if we returned he'd put it right. We did just that and returned in January 2017. Well what can I say other than thank you Tune Hotels and a big thank you to David for making our stay very special. I often stay at the Hilton Grosvenor with work, so have a view of what good should look like, the tune hotel whilst a budget hotel is way ahead of other hotels when it comes to customer care Very well done and thanks aga...
