I've been to a number of airport hotels where you seem to pay a premium for its location but they make a little effort. This place is very bland and although the restaurant tried out excite things up it didn't do it for me, The restaurant decor was a cross between a 1970s works cantern and end of season sale at the range,

Room 321 - above reception facing the sun. Only in the room for 6 hours prior to flight. Room so hot ( with fans x 2 ) had to put cold towels over ourselves to get some sleep. AC cabinet but no controls - receptionist said not advertised as AC - need more or larger fans ! Nice receptionist said she could only deduct £20 off the bill - very disappointed. At check in man wanted his room changed - we should have wised up at this point. Food was OK. Will never stay in a Hilton again - sad really.

We stayed the night before flying out of Scotland so for that reason is was very convenient. The reception area and ground floor is very nice. The reception staff were excellent. Our room was small with twin beds but adequate. The safe did not work and they didn't have anyone at the hotel that could fix it. The hotel is located within easy walking distance of Edinburgh's airport. Check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was typical of an airport Hilton, featuring comfortable beds and a large bathroom. We were dismayed by the fact that the heating system was going full tilt and there was no thermostat to regulate the temperature in our room. We ate dinner in the hotel's dining room and the food was average at best.

Definitely will not return to this hotel. The price is purely for the proximity to the departure terminal and certainly not for the standard of room or service. My one night stay in June was booked in January. However, the room we received was a wheelchair users room. Only bedside lamp/ table at one side of bed - not ideal for reading. One of the largest indoor hotel pools I've seen; a bit overheated for lap swimming, though. They also have a sauna and a steam room, a full fitness room, and bikes for spinning. This is the second time I stayed at the Hilton Edinburgh Airport hotel and I find it a very good option while staying in Edinburgh. Great access to the Tram and Buses making Edinburgh very accessible. Excellent restaurant on site, breakfast and dinner were really good. The only negative is that the rooms are a bit dated, especially the bathrooms. But I would highly recommend it as the best option near the airport.

Had an early morning flight and booked the Hilton at EDI. First Hilton stay in many years. Room, bath, bed, early morning coffee, wifi, transfer to the airport all fine, at a fair price. Nearest to terminal. M

This is one of the worst hotels I have had the displeasure of staying in, rude staff, no laundry service, shabby rooms and poor breakfast. I would make the effort and stay in central Edinburgh, stay away at all costs!

Recently spent an evening here. My interactions with some of the lounge, restaurant, or front desk personnel, were so positive, that I decided to sit around and just watch the interactions between staff and customers for a couple of hours. Superior/Fantastic Staff.

We had a flight at 07.00 from Edinburgh airport and this was the closest hotel to the airport. My friend booked 2 rooms for us as he is a Hilton Honours member. We were given 2 quiet rooms at the rear of the hotel and had a complimentary drink which was a nice touch. As we had to be out of the hotel early it was good to know the courtesy bus ran every 10 ish minutes. This allowed us to have some breakfast at 05.00 when the restaurant opened. Breakfast was reasonable and whilst i thought the hote... Read more

We stayed here as we had an early morning flt the next day. Very confidently located with free shuttle service. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Beds were a bit uncomfortable - not your usual hotel comfort. For an airport/transit hotel your Internet sucks. I would imagine you to have a lot of business travellers and would need good connection. This is definitely an area you need to improve. Still rating you as excellent for your level of customer service. Kudos!

I usually stay here at the beginning of my trip abroad but stayed here on the return leg this time. The flight was nearer midnight on getting in but there was a bus at the pick up point to give us a lift over. Check in was quick and easy and the chap was helpful with information and getting us a beer, even although the bar looked closed. The room was lovely, a great comfy bed and nice and warm without being too hot. A tea/coffee tray was within the room. Toiletries and clean towels were provid... Read more

Food good. Nice room. It was kinda hot though. Shuttle to airport horrible!! Nice bathroom and bed comfortable. Desk clerk very friendly and was very helpful. No help with bags however, but did have fan and luggage racks in room.

Good quality hotel adjacent to airport. Rooms quiet although on the small side for a deluxe. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Food in dining room tasty and both well presented and served. This hotel lives up to Hilton standards

Meals are quite good in the hotel restaurant. Since it is an airport hotel expect noise in doors closing all hours of the night. It was very convenient to airport access and return for car rentals. We could walk from both. Pricey.

This outdated Hilton hotel is remarkably dirty with stained carpets and moldy bathroom. The room smelled of mold and dust and the curtains were dirty. Checking staff were perfunctory and rude. Not what I expected from this chain.
