Brilliant stay at the Crowne Plaza , staff and service excellent , didn't eat in in the evening but breakfast exceptional - lots to choose from . Local tourist information given and helpful tips from staff on things to do . Location a little out of town centre but views were great and thankful we weren't in the busy city centre - a nice walk everyday - close to the theatre for anyone planning to see a show . Rooms were clean and a good size - tea and coffee avail - would definitely book to stay ... Read more

We last stayed here in June 2015, and had a few minor issues, so decided to visit again for four days as we were both born in Edinburgh. The reception staff were very welcoming, and we were soon upgraded to G2, a large ground floor room with the biggest en suite I have ever seen! We had Club Lounge access and this time had no issues with limited stock, and were well looked after by the Lounge staff. Breakfast was of very high quality, with haggis on offer too. We dined in the Terrace resta... Read more

After rerouting my work travel to arrive to lovely Edinburgh with a couple hours to go out on the town, I arrived after midnight tonight - 2 hour flight delay. During check-in, she was friendly, upbeat, and jumped through hoops to prepare me an ice-pack for my throbbing ankle. I'm very grateful! Newbie Jonathan kindly came to my ... Read more
